Hi, I have been able to embed my powerpoint onto my sway, however, when I copied the link of my sway to my friend, they were able to view the sway, but were not able to view the powerpoint within sway due to it asking them to sign in to view the powerpoint. And when they sign in to their own account, it does not allow them to view it. I need help as this sway will eventually be submitted as an assignment to my university so I need them to be able to view the powerpoint within my sway. How can I resolve this? Are there privacy settings that I need to change?

My guess would be that you need to look into the sharing settings of the PowerPoint and make sure that it's either public or that anyone with the link can view it.

I am having some issue to show a word document that I embedded into a sway to others. I already changed the setting of the embedded link for anyone that has the link can view it, but it still seems not to work. I was wondering if you have any suggestions for me to address this issue.

I have also had issues with sharing documents where I set it to be shared with anyone but they still can't access it and I am not sure why. However, do you have admin privileges? There is a setting to ensure that you share with people outside of your organization, make sure that is turned one. If that's off, that may be your problem.

@@ProlificOaktree Do you know exactly how to change that setting? Our Tech person does not know how to do it, and I don't have admin access. If I could get a link to a video or some written instructions, that would be incredible.

To be more clear, we can share url links with anyone to be able to view or edit. But Embed links must "require permission," which renders the feature useless. We need the embed links to allow anyone to view.
