5:38 is music to my ears lol. I hand built this engine. Glad you're enjoying it, if you ever decide to sell it, hit me up! I miss the old girl! You are right, I never did tune the EEC, just adjusted timing and ran stock MAF maps.
Sounds good, looks good, and will always be good. Most older trucks are obviously better than some of these new ones out there. I'm tryna get my old 1994 F-150 built. Thought about swapping the old 4.9L I6 for a 6.2L V8 out of an F-250/F-350.
Yeah things will Def break but once you dd for a year or two all the issues are worked out. Especially nice with cheap parts. Can't beat a $30 water pump. My 94 302 runs great. The m50dr2 is definitely on its last leg tho. Syncros have been messed up since 150k. Been gentle with the Trans and at 195k and the Trans is still the same. I've been gentle shifting but still reving the hell out of it. Haven't found the recline on it yet cause mine doesn't have a tac.. I've gotten to 45mph in 1st and it didn't hit a Rev limiter. Guessing it doesnt have a Rev limiter with the manual

Im putting a simliar set up in my 94 f150 4x4. I have 1.7 rockers on ot but i dont know if stock valve covers will fit, really dont have the extra $ for aftermarket intake manifold. What rockers/ valve covers are on it?
@@ronniehunter1 I've got pictures of engine build from start to finish, if you really care, shoot me your email and I'd be happy to share, I installed E303 cam, port matched GT40P heads machined by Wilhelm Machine, Clevite bearings, Hastings rings, Comp Cams 1.7 roller rockers(which do require taller valve covers), Melling oil pump, etc. No expense was spared and I would have stood to gain nothing about lying about the engine build, as it can easily be verified during disassembly. I take pride in every engine I build and this one was no different.

That's Jetta is super clean. Love how u dont discriminate. U reach out to the different car cultures. That's what will set u apart from the rest.

Hey P.G.! The vintage pickup trucks last a lot longer than these modern one's out here. Have a blessed rest of January and upcoming February.🙏🏾
Thank you 🙏🏽 queen bee

@@TheAuthenticQueenBee07 ouch not cool broski
My truck had that same loping idle, turned out to be a vacuum leak coupled with a failing idle air solenoid.
Sounding stout. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks bro

Nice truck sounds good but trust me someone lied to you about the cam it’s not a e303 far from it
It absolutely is an E303 cam my friend, I have taken every single bolt out of this engine and put it back in.
