I just bought a leftover '24 in black. I compromised on color because I got a great deal, but if I had my choice it would be this orange. Previously I owned a 2017 C7 Grand Sport. They had a great color in 2015 and 2016, Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic, but discontinued it in 2017. 😕
I would very gladly take the ct4 blackwing over a ct5 for the price. Not to mention that TT V6 actually sounds good and plenty of power and the 6 speed is the cherry on top!
RP Productions Great Review I think that CT4-V Blackwing is Absolutely Gorgeous and Sounds pretty good and I definitely agree that people should get em
Riley. You could easily put Diono Radian steel framed car seats in the back of that car. Great for smaller back seats, and WAY less chunky than most of the plastic car seats. No way you’re putting a rear facing seat in that back seat though.
Not really sure the c8 is the better car though. Little quicker definitely yes but absolutely not the better car. This little ct4b wins in absolute every department over the c8. It’s absolutely better equipped better practicality better comfort and ever faster over the z51 c8. 184 mph c8 189 mph ct4vb. This comes stock with upgraded brembos mag ride tires extra cooling heated seats stereo navigation. Every thing I just mentioned in order to get on the c8 you have to go with z51 package and 2lt and stil pay 1800 buck for that mag ride. So yeah after 7500 for 2lt 7000 for z51 1800 for the mag ride investment in the c8 that little ct4vb is still more practical cheaper by a lot and still faster than the c8. Besides the fact the c8 takes off like a rocket compared to the ct4b there is nothing else the c8 can do and the ct4vb can not do ,but there are so many things ct4vb can do but c8 absolutely can’t.
Hey great review! I am eyeing this beast and have noticed the suede microfiber steering wheel optional is extra. Wold you consider the standard leather over the optional suede in terms of durability? Thanks!
Haven't owned this exact car, but based on my experience with GM cars (had 2 vettes and ZL1), definitely go with the standard leather if you want durability. The suede microfiber starts to get matted down and starts to look disgusting fairly early on. If given an option, I will never own a microfiber suede steering wheel again
I have a CT4V Blackwing with the suede wheel and shifter and I personally love it. It is very easy to maintain too. Just a little drop of detergent and water on microfiber towel and twist back and forth then dry with another rag and it's brand new. I'm sure if you let them go or constantly handling it with dirty/greasey hands they will get nasty fast it will be harder to get back nice again but it can be done!
They did make the V6 sound actually pretty good. I generally like it, but I do understand that it's not for everyone given the unusable back seats. They should make a coupe out of it. Would I buy this? No.
Everyone loves a great 6-cylinder in a European sedan, this should be no different. A lighter motor improves the handling dynamics, this is a wonderful agile and nimble track car. This car has as much power as a C6 Z06 Vette, eventually it’s enough power. The chassis, handling dynamics, and performance refinement of this car is spectacular. It should be recognized for the incredible accomplishment in that regard.
Depends. If you have small kids, this is more practical than folding the front seats forward to get into the back of a coupe. This is a great “do anything” sport sedan like a WRX.
Depends what you need the car for. The cockpit in the CT4 is perfectly spacious as a daily driver where you have buddies or coworkers hop in the back once in a while to go to lunch.
Garbage interior. Straight Chevy parts bin inside. Definetly not a luxury product. Love that its a six speed manual but hate that they didnt give this the 6.2NA V8
Chevy parts bin? Lol, ok there. It’s not as fancy as perhaps the Germans have, but get real, it’s way nicer than a Chevy car. Oh wait, Chevy doesn’t make cars!
Soft touch where it matters, actual buttons for infotainment, carbon fiber, suede head liner, 14 speaker sound system, heated and cooled seats that are beautiful mind you. Basically every customizable drive mode known to man. Literally cannot figure out why you people cry over this interior. Theres only 2 gripes. The small screen and the weird gloss black trim piece.
@@brandonnierenhausen5556 I think the quilted seats with thigh support are gorgeous. This is a well thought out and practically appointed interior. I love that Caddy got away from haptic feedback and returned to physical buttons. This is more important to me than having every square inch of the interior made from the best materials.
Wtf? That makes you lose interest? Manual trans cars are the only cars worth driving. If you want you can order this car with a phenomenal 10-speed auto, but the 6-speed is just so much more fun.

The orange really is an incredible looking color. Cadillac has been insane with the color palettes

No worries about bleeding in the car and learning to drive stick because we would not be taking it. It's what the Corolla is for.

M3 is way way more money than this.
