I didn't feel that Ellen Burstyn's participation was long or short. For me when everything goes downhill is when she visits Katherine, that pissed me off so much!!! and after that, a damn comical, corny convoluted movie.
So glad to hear I am not the only one who sorta did. I am actually surprised the movie's reviews are very divisive and polarizing, as well. Coming from me, this is my first movie from David Gordon Green and I had no clue about who he is considering I never saw the Halloween movies from 2018 onwards. Also, the one part where you mentioned where there is too many people in this installment? It reminded me of the "too many cooks can spoil the broth" issue and I think the movie would've been better if they kept the scale of the exorcism act in the entire movie a bit more grounded. You know what I mean?
