I count this one as canon. Remember when Katie got into an accident in paranormal activity 4? I like to think that accident was the girl in Tokyo Night hitting her, and she "died" when at the hospital, only to be resuracted by Toby (Toby resurecting people has happened before in the series, so it 100% could be the case) It would fix the plothole of what happened to Katie in the 4th movie, and also, it could be Toby haunting the couple in Tokyo night, not Katie's ghost.
Since you love found footage just like me lol here’s a bunch of suggestions. I’m sure you’ve seen some of these but I would recommend. Grave Encounters 1&2, Creep 1&2, all the hell house llc movies, the house October built, the sacrament, the visit, the taking of Deborah Logan, VHS franchise, the Poughkeepsie tapes, Dashcam, Deadstream, clover field. And there’s a bunch more but can’t think of them off the top of my head.
Lmao the first three on this list are the exact ones she says she's seen in this video 😂 but the rest of this list are still bangers that I hope she watches!
Fellow found footage girlie here with some slightly more obscure recs! The Tunnel (2011) is a fun one from Australia that does the documentary style horror that you liked in Lake Mungo, and there’s a fun British one called The Borderlands (released in the US as Final Prayer I think) that flies under the radar for a lot of folks, but that I think is quite good. Everyone’s already said Noroi, so I’ll just add that that’s my #1 favorite found footage horror flick of all time.
Idk if you noticed while editing but you can first see the corpse in the corner at about 21:49 as he pans across the living room before turning back left to go outside, I'd barely noticed it myself the first time while watching and was anticipating finding out if I'd actually seen it later. Also, so far as found footage recs, I love The Taking of Deborah Logan so much, V/H/S films are peak camp, and Apartment 143 I haven't seen in a while but I remember enjoying
A film that is considered to be the BEST found footage horror movie is "Noroi: The Curse" directed by Kōji Shiraishi. It was so good it gave me nightmares.
I was going to mention "Noroi". Not only one of the all-time best found-footage J-Horror films, but one of the very few that genuinely made my skin crawl.
I saw it being mentioned in top found footage horror films but idk it didn't impressed me that much. I barely remember what was happening in there even though I watched it like a month ago
I would recommend Noroi The Curse, The Houses October Built, The Gallows, The Bay, The Taking of Deborah Logan, The Conspiracy, The Sacrament, Afflicted, The Borderland/Final Prayer and one of my personal favourites is The Tunnel
I really love the movie Creep, it’s an interesting take on the found footage genre that is also really entertaining. It reminds me of Scream for found footage instead of slashers, and fully makes use of the tropes.
YESSS!!! Caitlin is back!!! I know she has done other videos before this one, but returning to an original franchise I had to watch. I finished all 7 "Paranormal" movies last year and then moved on with my life, but seeing this again and getting that full rush late at night was awesome and just what I needed. Thank you for this and thank you for finally concluding the Paranormal franchise. Ive added this to my HORROR COLLECTION!!!...The movie was a hit in Japan, making over 70-million yen on a budget of 1-million. I would say that's a pretty sweet profit 🖤
The last couple of scenes when she walks gave me NIGHTMARES the first time i watch it and i can't do it again 😅 i watch this with a hand on my face while i heard your voice
i think one of the most downright terrifying found footage/mockumentary movies ever is "The Bay." the only thing you need to know before watching this movie is that something's wrong with the water
I never knew existed until tonight thanks for blessing us with this upload…and yeahhhhhh so the way she got up and started walking on the broken legs legit gave me a grown ass man,Chills! 😫😎
I did not know this one existed omg, but hey now I do! Love your reactions so much, this was good fun! I recommend The Tunnel (2011), it's a found footage/documentary style movie. And also, The Fourth Kind (2009) you'll have a good time with, it's not necessarily found footage but it does a thing of showing you "real footage"! I'd be really interested to see what you think of these two!
I LOVED this movie. Very underrated. I believe this is the only PA film where the 'specialist' walks in, does the ritual, and it ACTUALLY works... Only, for some time. My thought is that the demon followed him, killed him, and then returned.
okay so perfect timing with this upload cause i recently went on a deep dive into the franchise and although this movie is a stand alone "spiritual" sequel and not affiliated with the overall series, it can be linked to the overall series cause the accident that the sister was in, is the thing that put katie in the hospital in PA 4 i think
Caitlin.... i know you from your music reaction channel.. But the way i'm obsessed with this channel more than your music channel.. I'm a horror movie freak... I have been binge watching all your videos from the beginning and I jumped to see you posted a new video...
I think it could be a sequel, I mean, the possesed Katie was kinda of a "superhuman" after all, so even the possible dead by the accident could be like "meh, just a scratch". What I found funny about this scenario tho, is the fact that, if it is like that, then Toby is just pissed lmao, like "how dare you roll me over like that >:c"
@@matthew_thekngp1n Even though the first one is better, I didn’t mind Dark Web. It’s a movie that you can’t think about too much while watching. It’s a good movie to go blind in like I did.
@@Westgrey There's like 4 alternate endings to that Dark Web movie and they're all equally terrible. Host is a much better movie within the same vein (horror that takes place over a Zoom call) and much shorter too.
love the video caitlin! just a recommendation for a found footage is The Gallows. I remember watching it when I was about 15 and it freaked me out a lot but I'm not sure how it would hold up now though 😅
Here are some movie ideas to react to! countdown Bird box Missing Fear street (this one has 3 parts bc it's a trilogy) Unfriended Awake The call (there's 2 movies with this name but the one I'm mentioning is the 2013 one) The babysitter The babysitter: killer queen (part 2 to the babysitter) Things heard and seen Cam These are just all the horror movies or like suspenseful movies I have watched and recommend!
First of all, I really love your reactions❤ You already watched a lot of good Found Footage/ Mockumentray movies so I would add Savageland, The taking of Deborah Logan, The Medium, Incantation, The Tunnel, The Borderlands and The Visit
I don't know bout the "scariest" part, but "Creep" was uncomfortable to watch ahaha. Like it's uncomfortable JUST FROM THE START and I love it for it. Also really funny at times.
I’ve just stared watching your channel and your reactions especially to my favorite film genre are rad!! I watch on my TV so I came here to comment. I’m in recovery from addiction and alcoholism and your channel has been a HUGE help. There’s a movie I love on Netflix called Incantation that will blow you away!! Take care
you should definitely watch ‘the babysitter’ and its sequel ‘the babysitter: killer queen’ they are such a criminally underrated movie duo (or whatever you call them) it’s got some good comedy aspects since it’s a comedy-horror type film but i really do recommend the second movie is definitely a bit more on the comedy side but it’s still got great gore! def recommend watching it! ❤
I really hope you get around to watching the other 2 Blair Witch films! People may say they're bad, but I think they're campy, good fun. Also, other found footage you should watch are the rest of REC films (and Quarantine ones), The Visit, Paranormal Entity, Unfriended 1 & 2, and one that's really scary; The Frankenstein Theory. My bestie and I had a terribly great time watching that.
Some of my fav found footage movies that I don't think you've tackled yet are: Grave Encounters (only the first one, the second one sucks imho), Trollhunter (best subbed, not dubbed), and Hell House LLC ( at least the first one. they're not all great, but that one is!). Definite honorable mentions to The Taking of Deborah Logan, Deadstream, The Visit, and my favorite horror movie of nearly all time, the original VHS. Keep doing what you're doing. You have a super fun channel
Yesterday i've read a comment here suggesting a list of horror films/found footage movies. The last one he/she suggested is August Underground. Said he/she doubt caitlin has the courage to watch those movies so i became curious and search the movies one by one. And when i came to the last one (august underground) i almost choked on the reviews. Like every single one of them says it's nice, it's a family movie, they watched with their children, showed it to their son since he was an infant, that it was Rated G, etc. it was so hilarious! 🤣 You guys should definitely check the reviews on that movie. 🤣🤣 I therefore believe that it was a disturbing and horrifying movie
I would recommend “the tunnel” or “tunnel” it’s a found footage movie made in Australia based on a journalist investigating the abandoned tunnels of Australias water system, used by homeless since they were emptied and they go in but things get creepppy!!!!
Not necessarily found footage but an amazing and underrated scary movie with an awesome premise: The Baby’s Room. A man keeps seeing a strange figure in his baby’s room on the baby monitor….but when he checks on the baby there is no one there…..
i love your reactions, because i also love horror movies and esp found footage..... there are i think 2 Movies from Taiwan called the Bridge Curse, they're pretty good and found footage aswell might be something for you can't wait for your next reaction !

girl, just found ur channel and i love your reactions. i recommend you watching one of the V/H/S movies, they're pretty much found-footage movies but different stories all mixed in one big movie, there are a bunch of those movies though, i don't know which one is the first but it really does give the found-footage style a whole different vibe.
Found footage is my favorite sub genre of horror. Here a few recs: The Good Neighbor (2016), Behind the Mask The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006), Deadstream (2022), Late Night with the Devil (2023)
Others have mentioned it as well, but I'll add check out "Noroi: The Curse", a 2005 found-footage mockumentary J-Horror film directed and co-written by Kōji Shiraishi. One of the very few horror films, of any sub-genre, that made my skin crawl.
I randomly found this one on the internet in 2013 and forgot about it, the only thing I remembered was that the girl was sleeping by the mirror and crawled to the camera in the end lol
Creep, Hell house LLC and Grave Encounters all have sequels. And most of them aren't half bad. Or if you want something a little unique. Willow Creek. It's a found footage/document style movie about a couple who are trying to prove the existence of Bigfoot. Has very Blair Witch vibes with most of the movie being out in the woods.
I remember watching this movie this year I didn't even know it existed 😮 until I looked up paranormal activity movies to see if there were any others that was the first one that popped up and it was good I liked it even though I'm living in Tokyo right now 😂
I have a few recommendations found footage horror for you theres Dashcam and the Taking of Deborah Logan which will both give you spine chilling moments! There's also more but I'd have to go see the one's I previously watched cus there's one that really got ny attention but don't remember the title of then movie but (she gets married to this one guy I believe they got to Puerto Rico to go party and this taxi driver bring them down this sketchy place underground that has symbols, drugs them does ritual on her and she gets possessed she starts freaking out, I believe she has twins but I'm not too sure, and she starts killing animals and eating them and they people who performed the rituals were stocking the married family and puts cameras in her house so overall the husband survives at the end but he goes to jail because the cops think he killed his wife and did all the awful things so he gets interrogated and tells them that it was a demon and these people who performed the ritual on his wife and the guy who did it also showed up to the church and stuff but he points all this to the detectives but yk they don't believe him and think he's crazy I'm assuming)
You should watch "The Tunnel" -it's a documentary/found footage horror movie from 2011 and "'JeruZalem'' -FFH from 2016. Not many people know about them, but I think you'll like them :)
Would really find a reaction video to Alien Romulus when it is released later this summer very interesting indeed. The Alien films have a long history now, and continues to fascinate people through generations. It's almost tradition so to speak. A true religion. Alien... 👾
I had no idea this movie even existed 😭

Yesss The Tunnel was unfairly creepy
Foreign foundfootage movies are great, I will recommand Noroi the curse and Incantation
OOH INCANTATION WAS EPICCC
The Medium, it’s a Taiwanese movie and it goes from such a realistic feeling documentary to a wild ghost story
I really love the movie Creep, it’s an interesting take on the found footage genre that is also really entertaining. It reminds me of Scream for found footage instead of slashers, and fully makes use of the tropes.

If you like found footage you GOTTA see The Taking Of Deborah Logan. Probably my favorite FF of all time, one of the all time greats, trust me.
I think you should watch Late Night With The Devil next!! It blew my mind.
The VHS series is a great horror franchise and is found footage too!
I was watching this last night at around 10 and I was at 23:03 in the video and there was a HUGE crack of thunder and my wifi went out until like 1 AM
You should give the V/H/S series a try if you like found footage horror movies.
Would really find a reaction video to Alien Romulus when it is released later this summer very interesting indeed. The Alien films have a long history now, and continues to fascinate people through generations. It's almost tradition so to speak. A true religion. Alien... 👾
