It will be available soon to the rest of the world, but it looks like all will be shipped from the US...why Hasbro why it will cost 200 bucks for shipping and import duties will raise it another 200 bucks to a whopping 900 for the barge. They really should ship it from an office in the UK to Europeans and Australia or Hong Kong to Asia. Better yet, ship it straight from the factory. Wish they did these to G.I. Joe playsets like 1983 Headquarters Commander Center, 1985 USS Flagg, 1986 Cobra Terror Drome and 1987 Defiant Shuttle Complex with a very small amount of minimal assembly required which most of it is already put together mostly that makes it easy for collectors.

I responded to someone else too, but for some cool geek info. The Khetanna is the first Hasbro Playset made in the US, since the Defiant Shuttle Complex for Gi Joe in 1987, that was made in Rhode Island. Kind of cool that this was not made in China. They’re being produced or put together and hand airbrushed at HasLab Production Studio in Chino, Ca. Another special feature on the railings is the included Sail Barge Guns of 2007 Legacy Nikto and I think the 2013 Black Series Vizam fit into 4 thinner spots on the railings. 2 on each side. So you can potentially add 4 more guns on the railings.

@@Marchosias_Rex It's only worth that if you can find the collector willing to pay that much. And the potential value of these things is based on LOTS of speculation. Who is to say these will be worth anything in the future once '80's toy nostalgia finally dies and the popularity of SW has greatly subsided. Heck, the value of the original vintage SW figures and toys have already dropped, and when you account for inflation, most of them have barely doubled in value. If you aren't buying these for your own enjoyment of toy collecting, then you are foolish. "Investing" in a toy collection is about as stupid as "investing" in the lottery.

Does the popularity of Haslab's Crest mean it won't rise in value as much as the Sail Barge did which sold for $500 but is now going to over $1,500 on ebay? If the Crest is going to sell in the tens of thousands of units when the barge sold a third of that (I think), would it not be nearly as rare or sought after in the collectors market? And would the fact that it's from the new era of SW as opposed to the OT as the Barge was, also count against its value increase?

This is so cool. I can't tell you how many times I wished I had something like this as a kid. It's out of my price range, but I am glad that we finally got one.

Star Wars partially made in the uk with some uk actors and this is only available to US residents. Only cost $1500+ if you live outside the uk. Looking at after sales it looks like a lot of people brought it so they could make a few dollars.

It is amazing , I missed out on getting this beauty when it first released. Well I had to get it on second market and it’s been over a year of release and I paid $1300 . Lessened learned , buy when it first comes out. I bought the Razorcrest from Haslab

I am geeking out huge right now, but also dying inside knowing I am probably SO late to the party of obtaining one (having only ever seen/heard about this NOW), that I never will be able to find/own one. :-(

In 1986, Hasbro released G.I.Joe’s U.S.S Flagg playset/vehicle. It was 7.5 feet long, 2.5 feet wide, and 3 feet tall; it came with an exclusive Admiral Keelhaul; and Hasbro’s suggested retail price was $89.99. Adjusted for inflation that would be less than $215.00. Hasbro’s Jabba’s Sail Barge is literally less than half the size for more than twice the inflation-adjusted price. That is absolutely ridiculous. One of the great thing about toys from the late 1970’s to the early 1990’s was that the companies made them for kids. Rich or poor parents could buy toys for their children. Today, the companies are making toys for collectors. Most of these “toys” will never see any real play. They’re museum pieces for adults. What’s the point? Where is the fun in imagining what you “would have done” when you were a kid? Wasn’t it more fun when were kids that we ACTUALLY did?
I am a collector. I want to remember what I had and pass on the fun of playing with the toys to a new generation. With something like this, it’s an orphaned idea of a toy. It will never retroactively be there in my childhood, but it’s too expensive for me to give it to my nephew.
I’m glad you like it, but I hope Hasbro does NOT make anything this expensive again.

I love how some people are saying its too expensive ...no it's not people backed this bought 4 kept on then sold the others on eBay treble the original price which really does make it hard to afford and now 4rs later prices are still expensive on secondary market so no the original Haslab price wasn't too much IMO

They should have included another 10 figures for this price. Would have probably increased profits by creating a lot more customers. People who don't already own a large collection of figures might have bought this too.
