Would you recommend a 99 Silverado 2500 6.0 V-8 157K miles? Looks to be well maintained and previously loved by the owner..I plan to put a truck camper in the bed and need the extra cargo capacity a 2500 would have...I hope anyway!

If maintenance has been done on time, every time, then the 5.3L Vortec V8s can go to 250k-300k if not more. That being said tho, depending on where you live and climate, it varies. These are good truck but still have some issue. Look it over and check everything it. If it doesn't feel right, don't buy it.
Trucks and Water if the truck only has torsion keys its not possible to gain 4 true inches of lift. Doesnt look like the truck has a lift kit at all. Guess you could get 4 inches of lift with keys and a bodylift

JHartColorado 3 inch blocks in the rear and torsion bars turned up an 1 1/2 inch and 3inch keys. trim on the bumper and fender and wheel spacers.

Just bought a 99 Sierra 1500 5.3 V8 today and it’s in amazing condition. For less than $1500 I’d buy. I got mine for $650
