      Not only he is using his other winger to guide it by the edge, he also has loads of lines/ scratches in that same direction which would help with guiding the marker to go in a straight line.

    Uma célula fotoelétrica tem o mesmo princípio de um diodo. Um cristal de silício dopado com fósforo e boro, um em cada lado ao ser atingido pelos fótons movimenta os elétrons que circulam entre o doador e aceitador resultando em energia elétrica. Com condutores obtemos os polos negativos e positivos. Não vi nada disso no vídeo, o que faz pensar que não passa de um truque bem feito. Mas não podemos esquecer que podemos retirar energia de um limão, colocando barrinhas de zinco e cobre. O autor tem uma boa habilidade com as mãos. Parabéns.

    We all should be asking "What is the Short - Circuit Current, in full sunlight"?? Because my feeling is simply that it will not drive a few LED's or small motor. The Output in full sunlight will be measured in just a few milliamps, so don't expect that this would power your off-grid lifestyle, or even charge batteries. Just my thoughts.......A great Science Project for those who want to experiment.

    Like the copper oxide solar cell this is not a true solar cell - it is a solar activated battery - that's why it stops after a few hours - sorry

    Hey man, Great and informative Video. I want to make a solar panel for my TH-cam Channel as well and have some questions. (I'll give you credit of course). The crystal silicone paste you use, can I use normal silicone? Or does it need to be the paste? If so do you know where I can get it? Also I see you measured off a 4inch/2.5inch copper plate. Is there any limitations to the size of the copper plate can be? Or can I make a super long one? That would probably produce a larger voltage? And how long did you place the copper in the ferric chloride solution?

    • @Lazydayyt
      @Lazydayyt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +34

      It is Silicon paste not regular Silicone. I bought it from ebay few years ago before pandemic but now the seller is no longer available. The size of the plate does not matter. It's the surface area and arrangement. 10 min of shaking is enough for etching process.

    • @BestRedditStoriesAround
      @BestRedditStoriesAround 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@Lazydayyt can you explain what the readings mean on the thing that read the voltage? It was set to 20v but read 4.6? What exactly does that mean, how much power can you get from that?

    • @justryingmybest
      @justryingmybest 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@BestRedditStoriesAround how much power you get will depend on how many amps it produces

    • @justryingmybest
      @justryingmybest 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Only knowing how many volts won't let us determine how many amps it is, but it probably isn't a lot in this application. Still, the ability and knowledge of how to make one is very valuable information and the process can always be refined; smaller bars (Idk what they are called but those alternating silver and copper bars) would help produce more electricity, along with more space
