I watched several videos before I tried to make these. You are the only one that told us not to add too much frosting to the cake crumbs. I think I did too much because my cakes were mushy and very sticky. They didn't set up in the frig and the sticks wouldnt stay in. Plus, you explained why it is important to use the candy melts. I used frosting with shortening in it and it wouldn't harden on the cakes. Im ready to try again.

This is the best I definitely recommend it. I remember the second time I made these it failed because of forgot to put it in the fridge so everyone please put it in the fridge mine just turned into cake balls the second time. SO PLEASE DONT FORGET TO PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE. Plus if you can’t bake a cake just buy it from the shop and make sure not to use to

Hi I just tried your tutorial and when I dipped the cake pops into the white chocolate coating, I tried pulling one out but the texture of the white chocolate was too sticky and kept pulling the cake pop of the stick. PLEASE HELP!
Sarah Katharine late reply to this but it's possible that the consistency of the melted chocolate was too think. next time add a few drops of vegetable oil when melting the chocolate to get a thinner consistency. in this way the cake pop won't be be held down by the weight of the thick chocolate
