I have seen the potato soup recipe before from you. If i recall it was like 4+ years ago. The premise of video was the same without the emergency part. I especially liked the french bread pizza recipe. When I made it for my daughter she was in love with it.

A lot of people have had to downsize or are living in motels or have many roommates and would love the same tips. Thanks!

I hope everyone is doing well. Here's a substitution I never thought I would have to make. I had to replace my birthday cake with a can of cold black-eyed peas. If you haven't guessed, I live just south of Asheville, NC. We've had kind of a rough week. We lost power Thursday night, but we were lucky in that it was restored Monday morning. Cell and internet services are hit and miss, but I did manage to make it through this video. While there are some real life horror stories coming out, please don't believe everything you hear on the internet.
Having survived a major hurricane myself, I know how difficult it is to pick up the pieces. Hope you are able to celebrate your birthday in a better way soon!

Wanted to tell you that I have continued to make the potato soup from time to time since the first time I saw you make it! It's WONDERFUL soup! And so easy! I add a little bacon and cheese and my guys LOVE IT! I also went to the Pioneer gravy website and got a few more cooking ideas from it! You can do so much with gravy mix! Just to let you know. If you have a Dollar General Store near you. They have those hashbrowns for just a dollar. I purchase several at a time whenever possible. I love your videos and recipes keep up the good work! ❤🤗
Also, go to the meat fridge isle. My Kroger has the Cumberland gap hickory smoked boneless ham for 79 cents a pound. I stock up. I bought 4.08 pounds for $3.22 normally $18.32. take those to the meat dept and have them slice it in sandwich thickness you desire. You can do this on their pork loins they have on sale for $1.99 pound right now. Go to the freezer isle our ground turkey is $2.48 a pound. They also have turkey sausage chubs for $2.49 a pound. I found uncured bacon cheddar bratwurst for only $1.80 for a 6 pack. I bought them all. Freezer packed. Looking for recipes. I love printing out Julia's and sharing hers.
Y'all ask on neighborhood FB apps for fresh eggs. Someone asked on a local page. A lady said she had a TON i picked up 36 fresh eggs. I will be picking more up from her too.
I just realized you live in Utah. There are no Aldi's there. They are much cheaper than Walmart on some pantry items like stock or broth or canned goods.

I’m a big fan of Flashfood and Too Good To Go. Flashfood helps reduce food waste while offering food at “normal” prices. Such a good hack!
The Frugal Money Saver channel has also talked about the Too Good to Go app. We don’t have that available in the area where I live.
