-Didn't turn off the external power before disconnected
-1:50 wtf he turned off the nosewheel steering and anti skid, wtf. That's automatically done when the pin is inserted when pushing back
-5:15 Turned on the Taxi lights without clearence and forgot runway turnoff lights
-6:40 captain didn't wait on the copilot checking the flight controls
-8:45 what did he check? Something he shouldn't even check?
-9:25 wtf did he do with the throttle
-9:40 rotation was way too fast, could've leaded to an alpha floor protection
-10:05 'thrust levers to climb maybe?' 1. Check your freaking pfd for that 2. Maybe? What's that in aviation?
    -10:28 maybe flaps 0 lol
-11:10 passed transition altitude but didn't set the runway turnoff and nose lights to off

Watching the series the first time. I'm guessing both of the pilots on the video are students? If so, I fully understand.
The good thing here is that they are doing everything in a calm and somewhat slower fashion than your normal "years in the biz"-pilots would do, but I have to agree that there are quite a lot of mistakes made, which as I said, is understandable if they are both students.
Either way, thanks for the videos.
    Blue skies!

On part 1 of this series I wrote that I feed the cabin check and cabin flows rushed. On this one the doubts of both pilots baffles me: "Flaps 0 maybe..." "Climb thrust now? Not now.." I know they are students, but Pranas was a student too and his flights and procedures seemed more professional and on point.

Rule of thumb - If either pilot uses the expression ''maybe'' they should not be in the flight deck... Retarding throttles during the take-off roll, going to flaps one below the safe clean speed and to zero flaps also below the safe clean speed, in-complete checklists in the wrong priority - If you're going to do a video on the A320 at least do it right, properly briefed and knowing what the aircraft is about to do, before it does it, then and only then do you know what you're doing.

    • @davorsusa9351
      @davorsusa9351 10 ปีที่แล้ว

look, I agree with you by retarding throttles during takeoff roll, but they did not retract flaps below minimum flap retraction speed. That's the only thing they got it right :)

Very interesting video as usual but you do not really seem to differentiate between the pilot flying and pilot non flying. The two roles are quite defined but you both seem to jump over each other and touch the thrust levers as if one is fighting for control. You seem unprepared for your assigned roles. Perhaps a touch enthusiastic but who can blame you. Great work as usual!

they should practice or learn the flow before making this video. rotate like that in the real world, the result is tailstrike. and two people acting like PIC...come'on guys. well i think pranas is better.

In a flight simulator, you always records the flight to see what they did right and wrong, its like an test

Have to agree with everyone, both pilots were acting like PIC and stepping on each other's toes, I couldn't tell which one was in command the whole time! Come on guys step it up next time please

You Said positive rate to early. You have to check if the speed is increasing and you have a good pitch. And after the pilot have checkt that he is allowed to say positive rate

The one who reads the checklist tells the action only when he sees (both). And you should request below the line, not before start checklist below the line.

I totally agree with Jack Woods. Very bad CRM, very unprofessional. Next time please try to do this kind of video with someone that has already study the MCC. I'm very disappointed with BAA video today.

They didnt disarm spoilers after clean configuration. This is very poor video.

10:27 MAYBE flaps 0? I know! As you said, they didn't even disarm spoilers either! I'm 12 and I want to be a pilot. Definitely not going there!
