What a beautiful violin! I’d like to try these new strings someday and see how they compare with the Warchal Amber violin strings that I currently use and love.
It is indeed. It’s a Guarneri del Gesù „Ex Carrodus" (1741)! If you love Amber violin strings, you might find that DOMINANT PRO offer you greater possibilities in creating sound colors and modulation. But we’re very excited to hear your feedback once you’ve tried them. Also you can create the “Amber spiral” by yourself. In 1994 we filed a patent for the same method. Thank you for your kind reply! I used Dominant violin strings for a little over 30 years. They were reliable and dependable. I began to search for strings with more color, warmth, and complexity, which led me to the Warchal Amber strings. I’m curious to know how these new Dominant Pro strings compare with your Rondo violin strings. Thank you for your attention!

@@ThomastikInfeldVienna I just bought a set from my luthier. I have a great violin and the best strings for it are dominants, so im very interested in hearing the pros. I will give feedback.

I have tried many different string on my fine violin. Obligatos, Eva Gold, Peter Infields etc...They are great strings but I always come back to dominants because they have a wide range of color. I was very excite to try the pros and I have to say after a couple of days these may be my new strings. Im very impressed with them. They have a very clear projecting sound. My violin by nature is very loud and projecting so some strings come come off as a little strident. Not so with these. Hard for me to articulate but i feel like they are enhancing the violins natural sound, not imposing their own sound on it. I think if you like peter infield's string you will love these. They have more depth and clarity. The E string works really well for me as well. Very pleased with my purchase!
Rough sound on my violin,they don't react under the bow,nothing!I regret to buy them!

Sorry..the regular,old Dominants are much better.
