    It's nutty how long everything takes. You make it look so effortless. Someone will get a cracking van when you do sell it.

    Great to see you back on it. I built mine nearly 2 years ago and I used your videos as one of my main sources of ideas. Especially all the early bits, fitting the seats, insulation, cabling etc etc. Must of watched some of them dozens of times, great help. “Fortunately” due to lock down and my children being older I was lucky enough to get the time to get it finished so the standard I wanted. But there are always little bits of pottering, adding an extra USB port or more lights in the garage. Keeps me out of trouble. Anyway I thought this was a good time to say thanks for the videos.

    Madness! Was watching your camper van videos earlier and wondered where it has gone 🤣

    Real shame your selling it! I’ve loved your meticulousness throughout the build and have taken a lot of inspiration from that. Disappointed in this ending. Doing it to sell… Was looking forward to seeing the adventurers you’d have in it after watching all of the build… What’s next for you?

      We have had three years of use. With buying a farm and building a house, time and money are in need so makes sense to let someone else enjoy it. 👍

    I loved my removable seat in my people carrier. Took the seats out and camped in it. Driving across France one autumn camped on the side of the road on the Somme in a storm. Scariest night camping I have ever had…….

    Hi Tim, Jo, girls, pets, hope you are all well. Considering the work you have planned for the new property I'm really surprised you're getting rid of the van. It's well thought out and really flexible. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work.

    Know the feeling! We're still finishing up stuff on the camper, while living in it!

    Shame to see you selling it but I guess the new adventure won't leave much opportunity to use it and I'm sure the proceeds from the sale will be a big help. Your van build series was the main source of inspiration and advice when I was doing my own, so thank you.

    What first comment that's a novelty.
    Can see there is some urgency in the can build as it might be home for a year or 2

    Hi Tim, how did that bumper restoration treatment stand up over time? Keen to know before I use some on my car trims. Really can’t wait for the farm videos to start 😁

    What about a pull out chopping board for the dummy strip?

    • @TheRestorationCouple
      @TheRestorationCouple  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that would have been good. Only 150mm before the sink though.

    I really like the design. Great for a family. I was interested in those rear seats though, were they with the van originally or are they from a different van that you've bolted to the van floor yourself?

      @@TheRestorationCouple I bought a dumper first too. Didn't get anything else but wish I bought a digger now. Might still get one next year 😏
