I forgot to label the teams in the Abyss showcase but basically it goes in this order: 1. Premium Quickbloom team 2. F2P Quickbloom team (No healer) 3. F2P Pure Aggravate team Soz for the late guide
people should remember their artifact set, if you use thundering fury, do not use white tassal. TF would cause more elemental skills and less NA so you wont benefit as much so other weapons are better for TF 4pcs
One weapon that wasn't mentioned is the Kitain Cross Spear which is a really good weapon that buffs Cyno's EM, skill damage, and ER. Do note that you can immediately use his ult after skill despite the passive and you can still proc the passive during fights so he can completely fill up his energy as a solo electro unit even with just 125-135% ER.
1. Don't recommend aggravate cyno. If you must play it, even at lower 5* cost investment, you want an anemo VV carrier in your last slot, not a second dendro lmao. Cyno/Fischl/Nahida/Kazuha is basically just worse than the Keqing/Yae variant st C0, but at least is capable of something unlike the double dendro crap. 2. Again, I get that some people fixate on aggravate, but you should now that in QB (where he should be played) Ballad of the Fjords is his definitive best 4* weapon. At R5, it falls only slightly short of his R1 sig and beats Jade and Homa. As for your cheapest options, R5 Kitain is stronger than Missive and Tassel assuming a 130%-140% ER req range before accounting for its passive. 3. Don't recommend Gilded. If you want to play Cyno, it shouldn't be a problem to farm/box TF. Aside from the difference on paper, no player in their right mind would ever want to go back to Gilded after playing the former. It's just night and day.
Honestly idk why so many people talk about aggravate with him as if its on near the same level as quickblokm. to me cyno is a kuki shinobu who can do on field damage without having to sacrifice too much of his hyperbloom damage with his em scaling, as long as you have one of his 5 star teammates he functions really damn well considering how dendro traveler and xingqiu are one of his best f2p options, with yaoyao also working pretty well if you have furina. I think one of the main issues is that hes advertised as a main dps who should be doing a lot of solo damage which is why he was compared to keqing on release when in reality he shines best when hes also driving transformative reactions
As a person who has played cyno ever since released and has a well invested 4pcs thundering fury in a pure aggravate comp, beidou can synergize almost as good as fishl especially in multi target situation, not to mention fischl has a problem of not having enough uptime of only ten secs at c0 and even at C6 is hard to keep up, personally I would recommend pairing cyno with beidou rather than fishl as beidou is more flexible in rotation and can be used not only in aggravate teams but only hyperbloom as well. C2 beidou also gives a shield that may not be much but can help ease the problems of getting interrupted while doing combos
While Beidou is still a good option, she offers far lower damage than Fischl, much less particles, and also has energy issues of her own in low energy generation teams (Which Cyno is often in). Beidou works better in Quickbloom comps because it allows for a defensive Electro unit that won't steal Hyperblooms, but in pure Aggravate there is never a situation where Beidou will lose to Fischl. Her multipliers and energy generation simply cannot compete with Fischl. Also, Fischl does not have a only have a 10s uptime. You are supposed to be alternating her Skill and Burst which gives you only 5s downtime at C0-5 and 1s downtime at C6 across 25s
@@KeithJamesChua well said although beidou has her shortcomings building her with energy recharge can ease the situation, not to mention the team passive of two electro characters that generate particles every time. Cyno's personal dmg is not really extraordinary high and often utilize reactions to buff his dmg. Beidou will still feel better with lower investment cyno and will provide better value in situations where there's more than one target. Personally I'll still prefer fishl in my team with cyno since my fishl is highly invested and can hit 10k per hit but I'll still recommend beidou over fischl as beidou provide an easier rotation and is slightly more viable in more cyno team comps
@@KeithJamesChuanaturally yes cyno has his own energy problems but realistically most people will really focus on their energy recharge and get a good 130 or so, personally mine is at 110 but I have no problems with energy even with beidou. Though I must say this was an extremely good guide and provides very good insight for cyno and his gameplay. Thus personally I would recommend beidou over fischl but I won't deny that fischl can be better at times
Cyno was my first won 50/50 (and I've been playing since feburary 2021) who i got on his banner earlier this year before Fontaine and i recenly got Staff of Homa while i tried to get Neuvillettes signeture weapon so i decided it was time to continue building him so thx alot for this guide !
He one of the coolest character and in the story line is even better, but like Xiao the game doesn't do them justice... it's a shame but i don't think is the worst DPS in a quickbloom team damage is huge.
I accidentally got Cyno and while I really like his character, I’m still upset that I got him. I have Nahida and Furina but I wasnt able to get Baizhu so I feel like I don’t really want to use him
Thank you for the guide. As a Cyno main since his release, who knows him very well, I couldn't trash the character more myself. Hopefully after this guide people still will try to play him, or at the very least watch the guide to the pretty mid character past 3 minutes and not switch to Neuvillette guide instead.
I only have 132 ER and I always get my burst back before end of rotation as the only electro unit on the team -- the energy issues are way overblown. TF is a must, Emblem is significantly suboptimal so maybe that's why your Cyno is struggling with burst uptime. Cyno doesn't need Fischl at all. Also, R5 Battle of the Fjords is only a few percent behind R1 SoSS, it's a fantastic four star weapon option. I guess your weapon rankings were sourced from an older guide. Is your Cyno level 90? He does 30% ish more damage there vs 80. My C0 Cyno consistently one phases simon while yours does not come close, so not sure what's going on.
Cyno, Beidou, DMC, Kazuha guys will this work ?? Beido can be a battery for Cyno and her brust duration is 15 sec so it should synergize well with cyno brust
im so confused it just sounds like your talking bad about him the whole time when ive seen people clear everything in the game with a bloom build so how is he one of the lowest dmg 5 * when he can have his burst up for a good bit of time it just makes for longer dmg windows and more dmg output then alot of the single burst people in the game
I was thinking of putting a team together with characters that I already have... I don't have any good dendro characters yet(only kirara and khave)... I'm using cyno, kuki, yelan and dendro traveller... Any tips on how to build them?
I think this is assuming hes on gilded dreams rather than thundering, even so you almost never need more than 150% especially if any of your characters has favonius.
What do you think about Prototype Starglitter on Cyno? Also my Cyno team is Anemo traveller for Swirl Tighnari for Dendro Neuvillette for Hydro Is it good tho?
Cyno, Tighnari and Neuvillete are on field dps. They need support units to "shine" on the field. You can run Cyno, Dendro traveler, Barbara and Lynnette who are free characters and will help you a lot.
If you have xingqiu, yelan, furina, or even kokomi use them as your hydro, dendro traveler is better for quickbloom. Moonpiercer or kitain is a better weapon
I was actually looking for a build for him a little bit ago you're probably my favorite for build guides so glad you made one for him are you gonna do one for ayato
