Yay! Here is the unedited version! Live Aid was a benefit concert to help raise money for the famine relief in Ethiopia back in 1985 and each participating band had 20 minutes to play their music, and when Queen finally took stage, they stole the show. It is also why the songs are abbreviated in this set. At the beginning though at 3:45 each Queen band member does a mini sound check on their instruments before Freddie does his on the piano, I think this must get missed all the time from other reactors, but I notice it. I hear John first, with just one pluck of his bass, followed by Roger on the drums, then Brian with a quick strum of his guitar, then Freddie on the piano before he begins Bohemian Rhapsody. I love the 2nd song they played Radio Ga Ga I get to hear Roger sing in this song even though they don't show him singing this song. 11:57 "The crowd is into this" yes, I think because for Queen for who they are and the power of the music video of Radio Ga Ga, the hand clap participation from the audience can be identified in the music video. 12:27 I also notice that Freddie gives his bandmates the cue to end each song, he looks towards them and then the swing of his arm, every time! 14:05 John Deacon, I love him, he's an awesome bassist! 💕 19:07 This song Crazy Little Thing called Love", Freddie wrote it as his tribute to Elvis, in this song you get to see Brian May play three different guitars for this song! First one at 19:20, 2nd one is at 20:32 and then he's playing his handmade 'Red Special' at 21:39. He is amazing! Mrs. Coach they rehearsed this well before this concert as they did with all their concerts and that is why they were able to pull it off the day the performed live. The first song I remember hearing back in the day was "Killer Queen" back in 1974, I wasn't even 10 years of age yet and that was pretty cool to hear that song. "Crazy Little Thing called Love" came out in 1979. I was barely a new teenager back then. 23:40 You are correct Mrs. Coach, not a flashy light in sight at THIS concert, there was no time for it. Now if this was a QUEEN concert, well, you were treated to some lighting effects with the same talented musicians providing us a show to enjoy, and no doubt they would be exciting, captivating, brilliant, and quite loud. 27:14 Audience participation here says it all, when they all sway their arms in the air from side to side. AMAZING SHOW OF LOVE FOR QUEEN! By the way, it was David Bowie who had to perform after Queen! There was another song with Freddie and Brian May they performed "Is this the world we created" That song was released by Queen in 1984. I am glad you had the opportunity to upload this video for us to enjoy, we truly appreciate you Coach and Mrs. Coach for this! Tons of thanks! Peace. ☮
What an incredible comment. Great insight and commentary here. We really appreciate you taking the time to share this with us, and all who read the comments. Our Queen fans are special to us. We hope we have shown you guys that over the past year-plus...and we hope to do it for many more.

@@CoachCastTV However, there is another performance which was in Budapest in 1986 and that is also on TH-cam. - This just in case you missed my reedit!
I was there that day in 1985 as a 15yr old pop music lover... I left that day as a convert to rock music, thanks mainly to Freddie & Co... You need to remember that this was NOT a Queen concert or even a Queen audience, in fact they were a last minute addition to the line up. That said for 22 minutes that afternoon Freddie had close to 73,000 people in Wembley and almost 1.9 billion watching on TV globally eating out of the palm of his hand. I'm now a 55yr old woman who's been to 300ish live rock concerts over the years, everyone from Guns n Roses to ACDC to Uriah Heep, Meatloaf, Status Quo, Alice Cooper, Bon Jovi (48 times 😂), the Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry) to H.I.M and the 69 Eyes.. but that 22 minutes right there is still by far the best 22 minutes of live greatness EVER! And one show that has never left my memory! David Bowie followed Queen that day and was in the wings as they came off stage and apparently said something along the lines of "thanks for that you b'stard, how the f**k am i meant to follow that?" 😂 God bless you Freddie and Thank you for the music.. Rest in Paradise you legend 👑👑👑
These were NOT Queen fans at a QUEEN concert. They were people going to see a 16 hour event with 100’s of artists performing for free to raise money for a famine in Ethiopia. You had artists like The Rolling Stones, The Who, U2, Paul Mc Cartney, David Bowie, Tina Turner to name just a few. Queen however stole the show and won over the entire audience. While others plugged their latest songs, Queen did this medley of their greatest hits. They were used to playing to audiences of 500,000 (Rio). Starting with Bohemian Rhapsody going into Radio GaGa (where Lady GaGa got her name). Then his vocal gymnastics with the crowd. No other artist wanted to follow Queen 😊
Keep in mind that while the 75,000 fans in Wembley were clapping during Radio Ga Ga and responding to Freddie’s call and response the 90,000 fans in JFK stadium in Philadelphia we’re doing the same thing while watching the performance on a big screen. The manager of one of the bands at JFK was witnessing this and said it was the most unifying experience! People on 2 different continents doing the exact same thing at the same time. Gives me chills.
They did IS THIS THE WORLD WE CREATED, Brian on a 12 string acoustic guitar, beautiful, and Freddie’s voice. Just gorgeous. You can find it on TH-cam by itself.
Not terminal sick but had a bad enough throat infection for the doctors to tell him not to perform. This performance snapped Queen out of their musical coma and had a whole second career!
You can hear Freddie take the lower line, while Roger helps him out by taking the higher line of the harmony, especially towards the end of the performance.
@kentnottingham9645. I don't know why everyone including you ,that this performance brought Queen back like a comeback this is utter B......t , Queen where on a tour called The Works from August 1984 to Mai 1985, with 48 shows, in Europe , Australia Japan , Brasil, and South Africa. The Live Aid concert was held in July 1985. 2month later the works Tour ended.Hence the scarf the young Lady holding up, she probably was on one of those in the UK. And I was on one of the shows in Frankfurt Germany in 26 September 1984 .
@@powertothebauer296 Actually, both Brian and Roger, in separate videos here on YT, have said that Live Aid _did_ re-energize them. That they had considered breaking up until that day. Afterwards, they had a new mission and inspiration to make more and better music. And they did!!!
Spike is often considered the 5th member of Queen. He still plays with Roger and Brian in Queen tours and has often played on their individual tours and recordings as well. In the Wembley Live 1986 show, Spike wears a pink shirt and comes on stage to play late in the concert. He also takes a bow with Queen in the end. Love me some Spike Edney!
The magic was the combination of Freddie Mercury’s voice with Mays melodic guitar, Deacon’s genius bass riffs, Taylor’s pounding drums and that all four wrote hit songs. I recommend you check out early Queen at Hammersmith Odeon in the 1975. The concert in Montreal 1981 -Dragon Attack is funky! The songs such as Save Me is gorgeous and the coup de grace is Somebody To Love. The longest and most diverse concert available is likely their Magic tour in Wembley in the UK. If you like heavy metal…try Stone Cold Crazy or I Want It All but their diverse music is what is amazing. They have so many eclectic songs! Miss you Freddie!❤
love watching this. Queen's roadies running around frantically setting up behind the comedians. Then Her Majesty, QUEEN arrive. And own Live Aid for all time to come. (and I realize we've talked about it before, but this was not a Queen crowd initially, but it sure became one once these guys hit the stage) Now, in watching it again, you see how much more there is to appreciate in Freddie's showmanship. He knows what it means to own the audience. Doesn't even have to ask them to sing along. He expects they will. And they enthusiastically don't disappoint.
They had exactly 20 minutes to perform and yes, Freddie was advised not to perform as he had a throat infection. At 20 minutes the power would get cut. There are green, yellow and red lights on the stage. If you watch the lower right side of the stage at the end, you can see the light blinking red and going solid right as Freddie cuts them off. Timed perfectly. Most bands used this platform to showcase new songs, which didn’t engage the crowd as much. Queen’s set included familiar songs and crowd engagement activities…the only “newer” sing was Hammer to Fall (Coach’s song). Queen wasn’t in the original line up and was added after tickets were sold so not a Queen crowd, but they became a Queen crowd! I was 15 and remember watching and realizing that this performance was DIFFERENT than everyone else! Truly amazing! The ‘86 Wembley concert is well worth the 2 hour watch.
The crowd reaction was incredible, as, at the time, Queen were considered a bit "old hat". When they started, and Freddie got the audience eating out of his hand, everyone watching realised that Queen were incredible.
This set was timed to perfection. There's the world's shortest ever sound check at the start. And at the end, as the last note's played, you can see the stage light switch from green to red to say "your 20 minutes is up".
I still get goosebumps watching the crowd handclapping during the Radio Gaga chorus. Not exclusively a Queen crowd....although I think they all became fans after this performance.
I have chills all the performance so exiting it's legendary cannot describe it in words just breathtaking, freddie is just an amazing talent, but all the band are so great genius musicians❤❤
I beleive Freddie had Laryngitis and his doctor advised him not to perform he still killed it. The second song radio ga ga is where Lady GaGa took her name from. I watched this live it was on all day and night . David Bowie followed Queen and I beleive he said to Freddie how the hell do I follow that.
I've always heard that David Bowie commented to Queen as they passed by him exiting the stage: "You bastards." (I don't know that it's true, but it's been said many times.)
he also made his guitar - the Red Special- with his Dad - in their garage - from bits and pieces from around the house, he also has a PhD in Astrophysics, and NASA has used some of his work
Hello Mr & Mrs Coach. Queen Live Aid performance is the greatest performance ever done in the world of music. Nothing will ever surpass it. Glad that you could find the way to take your cover off this one.
Fil from ‚wings of pegasus‘ have a interesting reaction video of this performance, as a rock guitarrist himself he explains the details very well why Queen was so good!😊
What a nice surprise ! Live Aid again ! I remember watching this with my sister. We were Sting fans back then and didn't care about Queen but the band really blew our minds on that special day. I remember leaving the living-room towards the kitchen but I turned back as soon as I heard Freddie's voice and I was like mesmerized, captivated, glued to the screen. A kind of magic for sure but not only : they rehearsed more seriously than any other band and as Freddie would say it's not all peaches and cream, it's hard work ! Thank you for all your Queen reactions so far.
Nearly 40 years on, it's still regarded as the greatest 20 minutes in rock and roll history and the best live performance ever. No proper sound check or anything before they went on, just the little bit at the beginning while about to go on stage an audience there and watching live at home, an audience of around TWO BILLION people, but they spent a week rehearsing the set and why it's as tight as it gets! Freddie was suffering from benign grows on his vocal cords called vocal nodes here, it's something he'd suffered from for some time and his doctor demanded that he let his voice rest be cause he was in danger of doing serious permanent damage to his voice, but here we are lol The songs you pointed out were Radio Ga Ga, written by Roger and inspired by his young son Felix who was 3 at the time and had said Radio Ka Ka (Poop/sh1t) Because he didn't like what was on the radio haha. Hammer to Fall is a 1984 song by Brian, written about life and death and the grim reaper striking you, it also has very heavy nuclear war undertones to it, the hammer on the Russian flag and the line " For he who grew up tall and proud, in the shadow of the mushroom cloud" They are that era during the cold War when the fear of nuclear war was at it's height. They Performed Hammer from 84 to 86 live with Fred, and has an appearance on stage from Spike Edney playing rhythm guitar, the "fifth" Queen member, who still does touring with Bri, Rog and Adam Lambert, he was doing the additional keyboards and piano here behind the scenes. I think the best live performance for you to see of it at a proper Queen show is the 11th of July show at Wembley in 1986 (My dad's 48th birthday, sadly passed aged 82 in April 2021) They did 2 nights at Wembley the 11th and 12th of July, the official recording was done on the 12th and the 11th was a test recording for the official release, but the 11th of July was the better version. th-cam.com/video/q-8LQegrAZU/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the info. In the tine after this reaction was recorded and then blocked on TH-cam we have reacted to both of those songs. They are really good.
@@CoachCastTV How about Roger singing Radio Ga Ga himself for a Radio 2 session in the UK 3 years ago, aged 72...th-cam.com/video/hbmkrGkArek/w-d-xo.html and Roger doing Jealous Guy by John Lennon on a TV show in the UK, 3 weeks ago th-cam.com/video/eZRk5aAIoBo/w-d-xo.html
That's Radio Ga Ga from Queen's Works Album. Don't forget this was a live performance on live tv around the world pretty good aye. The Hammer to Fall song, you guys can check out Live in Wembley concert '86.
I was lucky enough to see them in Melbourne Australia about two months before this. The best concert of my life!! I was 24, a huge fan of rock since seeing AC/DC live so many times in the mid 70’s with the amazing Bon Scott as a teenager but Queen were just freaking amazing!! They just slightly edged out AC/DC for me and my ears rang for two days, what an amazing experience it was!! And I watched this whole concert live on tv at home and Queen definitely stole the show!!
Brian Mays doesn't get enough credit for his skills and still plays to this day even though he is almost 80. His guitar was made by him and his dad when he was a teen beause he couldn't afford one. He still uses it to this day. Queen will be remembered for many decades to come. They like to say that for 20 minutes the UK was ruled by another Queen.
I'm glad you mentioned that the crowd was into this and that they were Queen fans. One thing to remember, this was NOT a Queen concert. The crown was there to see many performers. But they ALL knew who Queen was and Queen stole the show! The fact that the crowd *knew* what to do when "Radio Gaga" was playing says a lot!
As this was a concert to raise funds for the victims of the massive famine in Africa its not just Queen Fans there it's fans of all the other artists who got together to raise money for Africa.
The background soundtrack of my youth. I joined the British Army in 1977, and on pass off (graduation) we had a disco to celebrate - the recently released "We are the Champions" is my overwhelming inebriated memory of that night! Oh, and a little number called "Belfast" by Boney M 😁
Mr & Mrs Coach, after their 22 min set and they were leaving the stage area it's reported that Elton & David Bowie said to Freddie 'How do we follow that Bitch' so yes, the remaining artists were in awe of Queen. You will find the two songs that Freddie and Brian played later in the day somewhere on the tube.
I have watched it before on your channel and watched it again now,, but I never get tired of it. Freddie and Queen's performance here is unmatched. Thank you very much Mr. and Mrs. Coach for this wonderful video. Really Love it! Freddie is a True Gem!❤❤❤
72,000 people in attendance and 1.9 Billion people watching from around the world. Freddie performed against doctor’s orders with a throat infection. Live Aid made 140 million dollars for Famine in Africa. When the boys left the stage, a Prince from Dubai donated $1 million dollars
So pleased to have watched this at last. It was definitely worth the wait to get your reaction to this fabulous set, knowing that your love for Queen has grown in the year since you first watched this. Bless you guys and continue to enjoy the Queen rabbit hole. 👍🥰
Freddie is the GOAT...... Guys you could upload all your queen reactions with just a little tweek and I would rewatch..... I could listen to this band until the cows come home...... Minus the song body language 😂👍😎
If Coach likes fast, and more aggressive rock, like "Hammer to Fall", try "One Vision" and "I Want it All" by Queen, of course. Lesser known songs: "Rock It - Prime Jive", and "Headlong", just to name a few.
Thanks. yeah, we actually have done all but Headlong already. This Live Aid reaction we did in the fall of 2023, but it was blocked by TH-cam and we posted it with an overlay on it, and recently tried to post it without the overlay and TH-cam allowed it so we posted it again. Check out our Queen playlist on the channel, as there are almost 70 reactions to them now.
The greatest Live performance and the most Watched Performance with 1.9 Billion watching on TV across the world. One of the greatest moments in Music History and love the way you guys react❤ Love the Queen Reactions as always Xxx
I remember when you first reacted to this concert with the overlay. This posting was even more special without it! This time around, I watched your faces - your eyes especially - and could tell by your expressions that by this time in your early Queen journey, you both were falling head-over-heels for OUR Queen. Both of you were mesmerized - such FUN for me to see. Thanks so much for taking the time to re-post this. I never tire of seeing this most incredible 20 minutes of Queen - and I never tire of watching the both of you. Thanks again. See you soon! 🤩
This was a week and a day after I turned 13 and it STILL feels like yesterday. Bouncing round the living room like a MAD THING! Fred was indeed ill and told by a Dr not to perform in no uncertain terms but as Queen themselves taught us, THE SHOW MUST GO ON! So, not bad for a 30% Freddie eh???? Quite simply, the greatest 20 minutes in live music HISTORY! Queen returned to Wembley the next summer, 1986 and performed their own headline show there which became a live album and VHS release so obviously not cut down medley versions of the songs, you got EVERYTHING! Finally, spare a thought for the legend David Bowie watching from the wings waiting to have to follow THIS! He was utterly brilliant too but come on, even Bowie said he felt like going home lol.
I only know one other group of today that have the same stage presence and write, compose and produce their own music and will have the fans sing to them in their own language rather than in English. I've seen many bands over the years at Wembley Stadium and the one's that live in my head are Queen, Dire Straits and BTS.
Yes, Freddie had a throat infection or laryngitis, I keep hearing different things. He went on against the advice from his doctor. How he could sing like that even so, a real testament to a true performer. He’d done ur before, nursing his voice for a whole day to get over laryngitis…the Daturday Night gig was another time. Love Queen…thank you.
hi guys great reaction, better late than never, all you need to is watch the "iS THIS THE WORLD 🌎WE CREATED" and you've seen the full concert, fun fact you wonderd who came next well it was sir Paul McCartney, funny thing was that one of queen's roadies accedently pulled out the mic wire so when started singing let it be you couldn't hear him but the crowd started singing for him, great reaction as always.
Freddie had a throat infection during this performance and was advised by his doctors not to do it. He was also undiagnosed with aids, hope this helps :)) Song 1: Bohemian Rhapody Song 2: Radio gaga Song 3: Hammer to fall Song 4: Crazy little thing called love (a tribute song to Elvis) Song 5: we will rock you Song 6: we are the champions And also, straight after they came off, elton john said to them 'you bastards, you stole the show'
The encore at the end, like all other commenters say is called 'Is this the World We Created', requested by David Bowie for Freddy and Brian to do. Brian May was interviewed at one point and stated that most groups prefer to work in the studio and earn their money that way, but Queen prefers to play live and that Freddy's singing isn't always as perfect as the studio version, but that is what makes Queen unique, plus they cannot be accused of lip-synching.
This is one example of when I have to agree with you that live is better than a M/V. ;) It's interesting hearing Radio Gaga after just listening to radio for two days. I remember watching this live and chuckling at Freddie's theatrics - Queen was one of those bands that loved performing live, and it really showed here. This is one of the finest examples of crowd control - Babymetal didn't invent this. ;) It's interesting to watch young people react to this performance and keep saying "That was Queen?" because they knew the songs, but not who did it. Queen had so many iconic songs that are still part of the general music scene. There were artists coming up who said "How do we follow THAT?" ;)
Great comment. We absolutely understand why it was so requested. They really nailed the essence of what a live performance should be here. A person may or may not like their music, but it would be hard not to acknowledge their abilities.
Aloha Coach & Mama coach😉🤙... Yessah,I remember cutting skool to come home and watched this and to this very day the best live performance ever.... Keep up the good work Coaches, and Aloha🤙
At this time, some thought Queen's best days were behind them. That without a fancy stage, lights and costumes they would fall flat. WRONG & what fun for them. Arena style was in their blood + they rehearsed for it - fell within about 10 seconds of the allotted time. Pros. And who came on after Queen? David Bowie! (You got the right version - no cut off on last song.) [The evening song was detached at some point from this set on TH-cam versions.]. The wait was worth it - thx and glad to see you loved it!
Me a 15 year old girl from The Netherlands at that time sitting in front of the TV the whole day listening to Live Aid. For me it was U2 I was waiting for but it was Queen who stole the show that day. I still remember it if it was yesterday. Great reaction Mr & Mrs Coach.
Dang…you almost got to see the whole thing…… there’s still a video on U-tube showing it all. Hope you find it. I was there, complements of the USAF stationing me at RAF Lakenheath. At least you were able to see the opening act with the 2 comedians dressed as Bobbies. Cheers
Yeah, we reacted to that one this week, but it was blocked so it's on our Patreon. That's probably why they removed it from this Live Aid video to keep it from getting blocked.
Mrs Coach has a new(?) celebrity crush... those twinkly eyes and smirk during 'Hammer to fall'... and yes, supposedly David Bowie was the next and said to Queen:" You basterds" 🙂
Freddie and Brian did do another short accoutic song called Is this the World We Created later that night. For Radio Gaga and Hammer to Fall check out their live at Wembley 86 shows. The whole concert is 🔥 from the opening song One Vision to the last God Save the Queen.
Freddie Mercury was the Real Deal. He wrote his own songs, he can sing, play the guitar, play the piano, crowd control at 1 million. All four members have attended universities: Mercury had a degree in graphic design and illustration; May has a degree in physics and has done graduate work in astronomy; Taylor has a degree in biology; Deacon earned a degree in electronics with first-class honors. Even dead Freddie STILL has not peaked. Freddie died back in 1991... 32 YEARS after he went to Eternity he is still watched. 78,000 people following Freddie's direction. Freddie was the Original Extrovert. When Freddie went to Eternity he left a hole in the fandom. Somehow the fans got it in their heads if enough people sang Bohemian that Freddie would return ; this is one attempt : th-cam.com/video/cZnBNuqqz5g/w-d-xo.html
1. Bohemian Rhapsody 2. Radio GaGa 3. AaahOhhh 4. Hammer to fall 5. Crazy little thing called love 6. We will rock you (fast version) 7. We are the champions The extra song with Freddie and Brian is ( or would have been )… is this the world we created. I also thought coach would have caught the 3 guitar changes from Brian in crazy little thing called love. Acoustic to the black electric to Red special… Eye on the ball coach… lol
I came home very tired at the late afternoon today, but this reaction refreshed me. I was lucky enough to watch to your first reaction before YT blocked it, but it's still fantastic, thank you.
Oh, yes! Queen at Live Aid without that annoyin screen cover. 😅 I remember myself being glued to a TV screen (along with my parents) and singing throughout Queen's slot ... They were just amazing. 🤩 A truly accurate comment from one of the reporters: "During that 20 minutes England was ruled by a different Queen.' You really have to listen to "Is This The World's We Created" that Freddie and Brian performed at the end (I know you were about to, but the video was cut short).
Another great Queen reaction by coach cast TV my highlights in this concert where Radio Gaga when the audience was singing to him when he was doing his AO vocal exercises any audience was singing it back to him were to stand out from this performance that showed just how Great Queen and Freddie Mercury are on stage my favourite has to be We Are the Champions it's my favourite Queen song the last song that nobody ever seems to do for Live Aid they came out later that day Brian May Freddie Mercury is the world we created was the song they did know at the very end that no one seems to doing their Live Aid reactions you should do a reaction video to Live Aid is this the world we created Freddy singing Brian Mayes playing acoustic guitar❤
David Bowie followed Queen at Live Aid, and he was really good! There are all sorts of stories about Bowie talking to Freddie before he went on, but I have never seen anything official.

19:07 This song Crazy Little Thing called Love", Freddie wrote it as his tribute to Elvis, in this song you get to see Brian May play three different guitars for this song!
That's awesome. Music can certainly bring people together.
I never speak like this but that is a beautiful thing
They did IS THIS THE WORLD WE CREATED, Brian on a 12 string acoustic guitar, beautiful, and Freddie’s voice. Just gorgeous. You can find it on TH-cam by itself.
Freddie had a bad throat and had been advised that he shouldn't go on - then he produced this performance. The GOAT.
@@grahamtravers4522Freddie always had throat problems, and Roger was always there to step in when necessary.
@@powertothebauer296 They got this misinfo from the movie.
@@powertothebauer296 Actually, both Brian and Roger, in separate videos here on YT, have said that Live Aid _did_ re-energize them. That they had considered breaking up until that day. Afterwards, they had a new mission and inspiration to make more and better music. And they did!!!
That piano player is Spike Edney who plays with the band today this date. He is amazing and a really nice and humble man.
Ah, Queen.. my everlasting love 🥰
Not only 70 thousand in the stands yelling AAAAOH but 1.9 BILLION people around the world chanting back at Freddy!
We have several of those on the channel now. Check out our Queen playlist. It should have over 70 reactions now. Thanks for watching!
Great reaction by both of you 😎
love watching this.
Great comment. Yeah, not sure how anyone can watch this and not become a Queen fan.
I was 16, and realised how many Queen songs I knew. I became a huge Queen fan following this performance!
Bob Geldof told all the bands he only wanted hits played. No new music or b sides.
We miss you, Freddie!! ❤
I agree Brian May never got the credit he deserved he is fantastic
he also made his guitar - the Red Special- with his Dad - in their garage - from bits and pieces from around the house, he also has a PhD in Astrophysics, and NASA has used some of his work
Hello Mr & Mrs Coach. Queen Live Aid performance is the greatest performance ever done in the world of music. Nothing will ever surpass it.
Glad that you could find the way to take your cover off this one.
there Live performence in Montreal 1981 is stellar to, Somebody to love is ...💜👌
You’re right.
The Entire Concert is so amazing!! 💯 We’ve watched it countless times.

Queen! I'm joining the viewing with great pleasure! ♥️🔥👋👍

The four of them is Queen. They were all so talented ans amazing!
Thanks for watching!
Freddie said with the crowd.....'ALL RIGHT'!!
I couldn’t even how many times I have watched this Concert. Can’t get enough of it. It is so great!
Freddie was suffering from benign grows on his vocal cords called vocal nodes here, it's something he'd suffered from for some time and his doctor demanded that he let his voice rest be cause he was in danger of doing serious permanent damage to his voice, but here we are lol
The songs you pointed out were Radio Ga Ga, written by Roger and inspired by his young son Felix who was 3 at the time and had said Radio Ka Ka (Poop/sh1t) Because he didn't like what was on the radio haha.
Hammer to Fall is a 1984 song by Brian, written about life and death and the grim reaper striking you, it also has very heavy nuclear war undertones to it, the hammer on the Russian flag and the line " For he who grew up tall and proud, in the shadow of the mushroom cloud"
They are that era during the cold War when the fear of nuclear war was at it's height.
I think the best live performance for you to see of it at a proper Queen show is the 11th of July show at Wembley in 1986 (My dad's 48th birthday, sadly passed aged 82 in April 2021)
They did 2 nights at Wembley the 11th and 12th of July, the official recording was done on the 12th and the 11th was a test recording for the official release, but the 11th of July was the better version. th-cam.com/video/q-8LQegrAZU/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the info. In the tine after this reaction was recorded and then blocked on TH-cam we have reacted to both of those songs. They are really good.

You should now watch Freddie and Brian's performance of Is This the World We Created from the end of the concert--a perfect song for the occasion!
Hey team ‼️ Watched this again with you of course💥💥 It never gets old. Looking forward to more queen from you
We appreciate it!
That's Radio Ga Ga from Queen's Works Album. Don't forget this was a live performance on live tv around the world pretty good aye. The Hammer to Fall song, you guys can check out Live in Wembley concert '86.
I remember when I was 12 and heard Radio GaGa on the radio back then and I was blown away,,, still am! Thank you for this amazing reaction
Brian May's guitar is INCREDIBLE!
There's 4 musicians on the stage, and each one of them is outstanding!
For 20 minutes a Different Queen ruled England.
Actually, a different Queen ruled the world!
…and those of us watching the simulcast in the USA, too!
Thank you for the re-upload. I've lost count of the number of times I've watched this 20 minute Queen set, but I'm always ready to watch again....
We're glad we could finally get the good version on TH-cam instead of the one with the overlay.
Indeed!
And I meant to say "crowd" not "crown".......... Although, since I was talking about Queen..... 😁
David Bowie followed Queen
This kind of event will never happen again...❤
As this was a concert to raise funds for the victims of the massive famine in Africa its not just Queen Fans there it's fans of all the other artists who got together to raise money for Africa.
Freddie gave people confidence….💪
The background soundtrack of my youth. I joined the British Army in 1977, and on pass off (graduation) we had a disco to celebrate - the recently released "We are the Champions" is my overwhelming inebriated memory of that night! Oh, and a little number called "Belfast" by Boney M 😁
So glad you can do this unedited reaction without the overlay. Thank you Mr & Mrs Coach!
The audience were not Queen fans, they went to see the other bands and support the cause, Queen were a very last minute confirmation.
Does not get better than this!!😍RIP Freddie
I have watched it before on your channel and watched it again now,, but I never get tired of it. Freddie and Queen's performance here is unmatched. Thank you very much Mr. and Mrs. Coach for this wonderful video. Really Love it! Freddie is a True Gem!❤❤❤
Thanks so much for your support.
72,000 people in attendance and 1.9 Billion people watching from around the world.
Freddie performed against doctor’s orders with a throat infection.
Live Aid made 140 million dollars for Famine in Africa.
When the boys left the stage, a Prince from Dubai donated $1 million dollars
Will certainly be with you for Queen ❤ thanks for this unedited version love your channel ❤ x
Thank you so much!!
So pleased to have watched this at last. It was definitely worth the wait to get your reaction to this fabulous set, knowing that your love for Queen has grown in the year since you first watched this. Bless you guys and continue to enjoy the Queen rabbit hole. 👍🥰
Thank you! We are glad we could get this version to post finally.
Freddie is the GOAT...... Guys you could upload all your queen reactions with just a little tweek and I would rewatch..... I could listen to this band until the cows come home...... Minus the song body language 😂👍😎
LOL...we have so many still to do, we won't run out of new material for a very long time.
This besides the movie made me love Queen thank you for this! 💜
I took a day off from work that day just to see Queen on TV 😅
I'm a few weeks late but better late than never. As soon as Hammer to Fall started i saw your eyes wide open.
This song is known all over the world , in every country, as the greatest masterpiece.
The greatest Live performance and the most Watched Performance with 1.9 Billion watching on TV across the world. One of the greatest moments in Music History and love the way you guys react❤ Love the Queen Reactions as always Xxx
Thank you!

YESSSSS!
Thank you so much Couch & Mrs.Couch absolutely fantastic.
🤗❤️
I remember when you first reacted to this concert with the overlay. This posting was even more special without it! This time around, I watched your faces - your eyes especially - and could tell by your expressions that by this time in your early Queen journey, you both were falling head-over-heels for OUR Queen. Both of you were mesmerized - such FUN for me to see. Thanks so much for taking the time to re-post this. I never tire of seeing this most incredible 20 minutes of Queen - and I never tire of watching the both of you. Thanks again. See you soon! 🤩
Thank you for such a kind comment.
I can’t believe you guys never did this one. Never gets old.
Crazy little thing live took on a life of its own. The added the piano line is amazing .
We did it last fall. TH-cam blocked it and we had to put the overlay on the video. We finally got it to post without the overlay.
Someone else has probably mentioned it but the pianist/keyboard player you can hear is Spike Edney...he plays with them still when they tour.
I only know one other group of today that have the same stage presence and write, compose and produce their own music and will have the fans sing to them in their own language rather than in English. I've seen many bands over the years at Wembley Stadium and the one's that live in my head are Queen, Dire Straits and BTS.
QUEEN❤❤❤
It wasn't Sir Paul. It was Bowie.
70000+ backing singers. What more could you ask for?
Freddie had a throat infection during this performance and was advised by his doctors not to do it. He was also undiagnosed with aids, hope this helps :))
Song 1: Bohemian Rhapody
Song 2: Radio gaga
Song 3: Hammer to fall
Song 4: Crazy little thing called love (a tribute song to Elvis)
Song 5: we will rock you
Song 6: we are the champions
And also, straight after they came off, elton john said to them 'you bastards, you stole the show'
JEEPERS!!
Thank you so much, Coach & Mrs. Coach, for all your hard work…. What a nice surprise!
It always bothered us that the original upload had that overlay on it, so we're glad we were finally able to post the unedited version.
That's how 20 minutes can made your day( every day)❤
The encore at the end, like all other commenters say is called 'Is this the World We Created', requested by David Bowie for Freddy and Brian to do.
Brian May was interviewed at one point and stated that most groups prefer to work in the studio and earn their money that way, but Queen prefers to play live and that Freddy's singing isn't always as perfect as the studio version, but that is what makes Queen unique, plus they cannot be accused of lip-synching.
great reaction to great group
If Queen wasn't there that day...the whole Live Aid concert would have been a bust.
This is one example of when I have to agree with you that live is better than a M/V. ;) It's interesting hearing Radio Gaga after just listening to radio for two days. I remember watching this live and chuckling at Freddie's theatrics - Queen was one of those bands that loved performing live, and it really showed here. This is one of the finest examples of crowd control - Babymetal didn't invent this. ;)
It's interesting to watch young people react to this performance and keep saying "That was Queen?" because they knew the songs, but not who did it.
Thanks. Good to see you!
Thanks for sharing!
Dang…you almost got to see the whole thing…… there’s still a video on U-tube showing it all. Hope you find it. I was there, complements of the USAF stationing me at RAF Lakenheath. At least you were able to see the opening act with the 2 comedians dressed as Bobbies. Cheers
I love “Hammer To Fall” too. Check out their version at Wembley 86.
Live in Budapest 86' too. That was a controversial one, since the song is about the Cold War/Nuclear Destruction. Still Soviet era.
To hear an awesome guitar work by Brian May is Five Finger Death Punch BLUE ON BLACK featuring Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Brantley and Brian May
Great channel guys love from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Oh, Freddie and Brian came back out to sing "Is This The World We Created". But this video didn't keep that part, unfortunately.
The closing song was Is this the world we created
Queen live at Wembly Stadium is unbelievable
The 2nd track is Radio Ga Ga, also the track that inspired ‘Lady ga ga’ to use it as her stage name !
Freddie was actually an introvert. Brian has a PhD in astrophysics and works with NASA.
Phil Collins was the only artist from Live Aid to perform both in London and Philadelphia, PA.
1. Bohemian Rhapsody
2. Radio GaGa
3. AaahOhhh
4. Hammer to fall
5. Crazy little thing called love
6. We will rock you (fast version)
7. We are the champions
The extra song with Freddie and Brian is ( or would have been )… is this the world we created.
I also thought coach would have caught the 3 guitar changes from Brian in crazy little thing called love. Acoustic to the black electric to Red special… Eye on the ball coach… lol
LOL...so much happening in this one...
@ 2 concerts I would recommend for you to watch… live at the Rainbow 1974 and Live at Wembley 1986..
I came home very tired at the late afternoon today, but this reaction refreshed me. I was lucky enough to watch to your first reaction before YT blocked it, but it's still fantastic, thank you.
Oh, yes! Queen at Live Aid without that annoyin screen cover. 😅
I remember myself being glued to a TV screen (along with my parents) and singing throughout Queen's slot ... They were just amazing. 🤩
A truly accurate comment from one of the reporters:
"During that 20 minutes England was ruled by a different Queen.'
You really have to listen to "Is This The World's We Created" that Freddie and Brian performed at the end (I know you were about to, but the video was cut short).
