I make my own bread that my mother showed me before she died. I like the Papos Secos . Hi Nancy I have to ask this ….. when your saying the measurements of the ingredients in English do you use the measuring spoons ? Because in your Portuguese written recipe you use spoon size ( the Portuguese way lol) so wondering which one to fallow let me know thanks love your videos Lucie
Hi Lucie, I use the measuring spoons...with the measurement label on it. (If I use an actually teaspoon, I will show the spoon in the recipe). (An example - if you take a teaspoon of sugar and place it in a teaspoon labelled with ml or 1tsp... you will see that the measurement is very close). Great question..Thank you.😘
I love that you make 1 loaf. I found that a lot of recipes usually make a lot of loaves. I am going to try to make the dough in my bread machine and finish it in the oven. Thank you for your recipes. It brings back so many memories with my mom.

Hey Nancy why not just use corn flour, wouldnt that make it a true pao de milho?
Hi Dave....you can use just cornflour....however, it would be more of a crumbly pão de milho... and more of a firm texture. 😊
