I tried to get defenders a few months ago to replace some worn out defenders. I just wanted the same tire again. They were still listed, but none available nationwide. Tire shop told me maybe discontinued due to size - 205/70-15.
Now this makes sense. One viewer just post he purchased new Defender this week; but don't know what size. Thank you for the post and hope you can subscribe.
Michelin make good tires. Continental and many Goodyear tires are great. This from a person who retired after 25 years with Goodyear. They do cost more due to many reasons including promotion. Tv commercials are expensive.

I just bought a set of Defenders at Americas Tire this week for a RAV4 and they were manufactured last week based on the date code.
