Lovely! Doc Wob's on the phone though, with a list of things you did wrong hahaha. I had a 92' 93' 95' in those years. The 93' was a nice bike, I remeber taking it to the Isle Of Man to race whilst I was there watching the TT, good times but too hungover to race well ha! The 95' was an animal it had belonged to a pro friend of mine who had picked up sponsorship from Frank Wrathall Developments. Previously mainly known for tuning GP circuit bikes, he had gone to town on this CR250 engine and it was insane. He had fully worked on the cases adjusting volume and flow, barrel / head and even D slide modified the carb, a speciality of his, 3rd gear starts werent an issue in sand 🤣. Should of kepts that one!
I love it. Going deep. I couldn't ever let one rot on the side of the house. Loved them more when I sold them than when I got them because of that sentimental value. It's like your wrench work and maintenance is a relationship with the machine. The more you do that, the better it takes care of you. Allowing for experience in exchange for it's efforts. A beautiful thing really.
I bought one of those brand new. Best bike I’ve ever owned. Even switched it over to a woods bike after a couple yrs of moto and the soft bottom end allowed it to chug over slippery roots and rocks great.
I even knew every McGrath's stat question.......l get to ride it ! 😅 I already have the last generation CR 250 in mint condition with only good performance parts on it. Ride it every week.
Beautiful bike jay dam. But yea I wouldn't to be able to help my self I would have to take it out for a hard rip every once in a while. Love 2strokes nothing like um
Having a bike like that and couldn’t be able to ride it it’s like being in the backstage of lynyrd skynyrd while they are playing freebird but you can’t go play with them because you don’t have a guitar
Once again great build, unfortunately we have to listen to Keefer talk and complain non stop. Jay please post a video on this bike on your own channel.
Have you not seen/heard enough 2-stroke videos? They’re everywhere. This video is about what it takes to build a bike of this caliber. Go watch a million other videos if you wanna hear a 2-stroke rip around the track. There’s no shortage…
Jay is an absolute superhero of dirt bikes! Super knowledgeable and always willing to help...
@@JacksonD489ironically he fumbled every MC question
My two favorite people to listen to talk about dirt bikes. Great work!
I just finished a ‘95 KX, took over 2 yrs but mine is on the same level as this CR. I can relate to EVERYTHING he is saying.
Nothing beats the sound and smell of a two stroke hole shot.

This year & the ‘93 were my favorites! Best balanced & speed. I had FMF do my motors, they were fast and never broke! RIDE RED for life!!
All of the 93s were the best all brands just My opinion
I agree,i have a 1993 cr 125,i made a Dough Henry replica,just for collection...but i rode it a couple of time...fully covered of gray tape😂😂😂

the best thing was the nuclear red of these bikes at the time. The red just popped on Honda's in the 90's. Seem to be a bit more flat these days
I was definitely hoping to hear it ripping but good info on what it takes to rebuild a 30 year old machine. Nice resto-mod 😉
extremely beautiful, extravagant good looking, i wish we could heard this beauty´s engine running low rpm´s on iddle at last... 🤤
Thats what its all about, Saving Bikes Lives!
I watched the entire video start to finish in hopes we could hear it idle and it did not disappoint
Nice job! My old 1995 CR250 was saweeet! Even had a Wiseco on my from Jay! 🎉
Awesome bike, this video deserves more attention. I understand why he doesn't want that bike riden
Haha I got goosebumps when you said that. Awesome
1996年式マクグラスさんのフレームをアメリカから~譲り受けました各部にフレーム補強が入ってましたコーナー進入轍などにてマシンがとても安定して別物でした❗マクグラスマシン素晴らしいです
Beautiful

Sad not to build a rider… I get its alot of work into it but…. Damn, would be nice to hear it ridden…
Godamn i want this

Are any of the other 4 bikes for sale? Would love to own one
I said 93. Rumor was the frames would stretch in the season.
need a resto vid of the process rather than a final product showcase

Should Team Honda paint their frames white? Might be cool..
Wonder how much money could buy one?
I built a nicer 03 and I would let you guys ride it.
The fork tubes would be better if anodized gold/bronze instead of black.
watch time for this video 1 minute
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂❤😢😢😢😮😮❤❤
Talking about motorcycles and not riding them is pretty boring.

@@BryanSutherland-w7e Yeah it's not that hard, i have 3 Replica bikes and i ride them, this shit is gay as fuck.
Nah I could listen to Kris and Jay talk about dirt bikes all day. So much knowledge between the two.
There is room in the world for both
So why did you watch it then. Clown
The forks ruined the whole bike build
Not riding a bike that was created to race is criminal.
Although it’s not OEM, QVMX makes air boots for TONS of older bikes!
