I didn’t have the opportunity to reply to Craig on the live stream..
I saw he addressed my statement which I rephrase here:
LFC bosses brought this onto themselves when they leaked that the Darwin was not a club consensus signing but a Klopp only signing..
Craig replied that he knew the report I was referring to and understood my point but was not sure that LFC actually leaked the information..
My reply to Craig is:
No we are not 100% sure but I can have a well educated guess that it was indeed a planned leak since the info came from Paul Joyce who seems to have a direct line with some guy behind the curtains at the meeting room No. 1..
he always nails exactly what ends up happening..
Joyce also said about a month, month and half prior, that Edwards was going to have full control of personnel decisions which implied that Slot (assuming that he is the chosen new manager) will be the technical/tactical man, the XXs and OOs guy.. not involved in personnel decisions..
I’m not the smartest guy in the world but if I, a Joe-Bloke from across the ocean, can put 2 and 2 together, Darwin or better yet, his wizard agent Mendes, can arrive to the conclusion that Núñez is going to be pushed out of the club by Edwards and the other guy..
I’m guessing the following part but these developments may have sent Núñez into a tailspin which combined with his failures on the pitch, with like 1 goal in the last 10 games, have boiled over to the point where he is convinced that everybody hates him and wants him gone and forgotten..

Darwin using the excuse of “abuse” to get his way out of the club. Blaming the fans is despicable
It's possible. But for a emotional guy you would think Liverpool is the best club for him in the world, both the club culture is great and the club is up there with among the biggest 5-8 clubs.
We of course don't know what has been sent to him but internet is a tough playground. All politicians, influencers, models, journalists, actresses etc etc get abuse online and death threats.
Nunez is very emotional by the looks of it so it might just be rage that blows over. It sort of reminds of Wijnaldum when he left for PSG, he was talking of how Liverpool supporters didn't support him except the game going fans. Of course he regretted leaving Liverpool, but often many of these players don't realize there are millions of LFC supporters, just because a few of them go over the line on social media then that does not reflect how well appreciated the players are. Sort of prima donnas these players sometimes.
Still I would hate to see Nunez go, but he does have issues with his temper he needs to start handling.
My stance on Nunez is the same.....we should sell him now while he is still worth something because the longer we leave it the more his value is gonna drop.
He is not going to improve and my mind is not gonna change

Nunez is a very emotional guy by all looks of it from the past 2 years. I would really hate to see him leave but his removing of all Liverpool images on his social media is a bit puzzling and a tough bite to swallow as a fan of the club.
Get him out like I'm genuinely sick of watching him miss the easiest shots that even a sunday league player could score. He's been loved unconditionally for being mediocre at football and genuinely terrible at shooting. What is the point?? Yeah fr, I absolutely love Nunez but I’m reality there’s only about 20-25 men in the world that can be in the Liverpool first squad. That is a massive privilege. And most of us fans would trade a kidney to be able to step foot on the pitch for our club. I can handle “being patient” and “bad performances” but if he’s entertaining a club like Barca, forget about it let him move there the badge is bigger than the club at the end of the day me and Nunez are the same age. For him to be deleting posts and any traces of his time at Liverpool hurts as a fan. And tbh I would like more professional players in my team, that despite abuse would toughen up pull they’re socks up and get on with it!!
The people to talk to about this is the player and the manager, do they want to stay and does the manager want him then of course club takes advice from its sporting director
I believe too many cooks spoil the broth up front , sell all who dont want to play for liverpool, theres always a better replacement

Newcastle are the richest club in the prem, quite possibly the world. They have no want or need to sell. Also they are being watched very closely so they dont do a city. This means they cant really sell. Highly unlikely. We all recognise Isak is a great player, but it aint happening

I think it's okay. He hasn't had much luck in Liverpool, Barca is a great club. He can improve his form and Liverpool can find a better fit for the team
I wouldn't want to sell him ideally. But it always felt he'd leave for Spain eventually. So if we sell him, we should ensure to recoup most of the fee we spent on him. He's still very young, and you can't get any player around his ability for less than 60M anyway. Klopp never utilized him well, so not sure why he went after him over Nkunku. He doesn't look like fitting Slot's system either

Craig, youve always said if a player doesnt want Liverpool, let them leave. So if he wants to go, let him go. His big chance conversion rate is terrible, alison would finish more chances than he does. He might go through purple patches and produce performances like he did against newcastle. But he has proved he cant do it consistently. Id let him have a year under slot if he wanted to stay, but usually theres no smoke without fire. If his agent is touting for him to leave, its likely darwin has said to him he is open to the move. I thought barca where skint ???
