1:18 how amazing is Libbok he taps the ball through Arendse picks it up then he rips it back in the tackle and Stormers go on to score a try
Stormers played the most enterprising rugby in URC and yet Nienaber overlook so many young talented players from the Stormers.
I was very dubious about this competition but now Covid is sort of gone and travelling and crowds are returning the URC is getting a bit of traction.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Leinster will go in a few weeks.
In a few years this could be quite the competition.
A nice sunshine break for NH fans and a Christmas Shopping trip for SH fans, with a bit of rugby of course.

It's sad how Nienaber talk about a guy like Goosen as a flyhalf but not even mention Manie Libbok. How can they not include these youngsters who are putting up their hands. I don't blame good players leaving SA rugby to go play overseas when they're not recognized here in South Africa. How can he ignore Roos too?:-(

SA rugby seems to be in a very good place at the moment. 500 players overseas + this at the home unions. bodes well for the future!
Lets be honest only about 40 of those 500 players would actually improve the URC sides. The rest will just add depth and make the CC stronger.

I don’t get the yellow card? First it was no high tackle play on was about to award the try then all of a sudden they finally saw the knock on and now it’s a high tackle yellow card?
Very much a stormers TMO... it was a high tackle, and therefore a penalty try. The knock on that resulted from the high tackle is of no consequence as it happened as a result of the high tackle. Ulster would agree.

They looked at every thing possible to not reward the try the whole situation was a joke in my honest opinion the ref couldn't get to a conclusion too many interferences acured while watching the TMO. Everyone had something too say.
@@nightpheonix8715 agreed. If that was a yellow (which it was), then it should have been a penalty try. No defenders were in a realistic position to tackle Kurt, barring the high tackler. Very poor call from the entire team of officials. I hope they are punished. Not that it would have affected the outcome, but it leaves a bad taste.
And so the best rugby country in the world shows why.

That fact that the yellow card didn't come with a penalty try was a shocker. There will be consequences for the officials I hope. Stormers seem to have the officials on their side in the last ten minutes. Ulster will agree.

Of course, we can continue to ignore the fact that this should have been a penalty for the Stormers when the Bulls player bumped the Stormers chaser off the ball allowing his team mate an easy catch and clear path to break through. We saw this in the France England game with the Nowells being obstructed and taking Jaminet out in the air and that was just from a retreating player running a bit of a blocking line - here, there was clear contact with the chaser.

@@Karma-qt4ji I didn't see this, which obviously should be the first consideration. But the fact that they gave a yellow and a penalty, shows that they did not consider that. Where was the knock on that they referred to? If it was before the passage of play, then either way they should have gone back for that. If it was from or after the tackle, then it has to be ignored as the offending player has to be removed from the equation. I really don't care who won this game, but I do hate blatantly wrong calls... especially when they take ten minutes with the TMO.
