Taylor swift....I don’t really know her onstage but I have seen her person on tv.....her “shaking” seems comical. Cant imagine it being successful lol. Taylor swift shaking what exactly lol. Knee caps and elbows is all I see.
Really good balance between efficiency in showing/explaining your process and not skipping crucial details that less experienced miniature painters (like myself) wouldn't take for granted!
That is incredible. Your brush control is amazing, something as a painter i hope to have one day. And good on you both for being able to share and love a hobby together. Something all couples should strive for.
Thank you, that's very sweet! My hands actually shake a lot, I just take care to really rest my elbows/forearms so that my wrists don't have to get tense and cause shaking. As for us, we're that couple everyone hates because we share almost all hobbies/interests, down to watching a certain TLC reality show together. Wat do.
@@ThatEvilHag That is really awesome to hear. Turin always talks you up on streams and it seems very deservedly so! Looking forward to more content from you both in the future!
Pretty impressive Turin got the Ice Queen herself to paint models. If I was her I'd throw him into the gulag for his insolence. But I'm sure he has his moments😁
That was very well done, I'm very impressed. You could definitely start your own channel just showing breakdowns of all the art pieces you make, then sell them on etsy. It's a brilliant business model. Honestly I think people would flock to watch your videos and it would be very successful, but if you would rather just share a channel with Turin, that's awesome too. I believe people would buy your art and watch the videos either way but if you perhaps have ambitions of starting your own thing I'd say go for it. I've seen a lot less talented people do well for themselves lol.
I don’t even know what to say, you’re too kind! I’m apprehensive because I’m entirely self-taught when it comes to art, and there’s always someone better, more talented, more educated, and so on, and so forth. Thank you for the encouragement, it means the world!

If your paints especially the metallics get to old they can start to separate. Put a ball bearing in there. It helps with paint mixing. Some times though they are just too old and are kinda ruined.
Absolutely loved this. It's very inspiring watching you paint, and I really liked what you did with the bubbly swamp :) here's hoping you'll share more of this with us in the future :D
Especially the Vallejo Model Air Metallics. But all metallics, including the GW ones, benefit from a small stainless steel or glass agitator ball in the pot with them.

@@ThatEvilHag @Turin I just spent the last two weeks painting a blood raven army, and only have one or two models left. Part of me REALLY hopes I don't like how this ends up looking....
Great Job, looks absolutely stunning and as always with painting videos like these it looks so easy. There is just one Issue I have with this video, well two to be quite honest: -Not enough edgy skulls, -not enough machine spirits. If you fix these it will be a 11 / 10 Series but so far I have to rank it an 8.
Great tutorial! For the bubbles, if you painted tops bright white, then put thin nurgle rot (or flourescent yellow?) would that create the light bubble tops?
Based on this, I'm tempted to buy a Death Guard army, mail it to be painted in the United States, for good money, and then mail it back into Finland to be played
First few models will always be bad unless you're very gifted so don't worry too much. It will get better everytime you try. If you're afraid of ruining your models with bad paintings, don't worry, you can fix your mistakes later. Just soak your minis in hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) for 2-3 hours and you can gently brush away the old paints with a toothbrush (it will also erase the prime coat too).
