    Love you description of the suspension and how it's working.
    Im 190cm and considering the large for a more flickable bike. I already have an epic Evo in XL.
    The marin is now 7.5k in special and would be totally different ride than my spesh, whixh is what im after.
    Great video mate.
    Edit: fully agree regarding the uphills. I'll be hitting them hard, which turns the uphill into a completely different trail when travelling at a higher speed.

    I’ve heard people recommend 34 chain wheels! instead of the 38 they come with!

    This was a favourite clip for me - a big thanks. At the beginning of the vid, you said you were going to service the fork. I'm not sure if you covered that in any of the other videos in this series, so apologies if you did. I just wonder, what type of service do you give forks when you say you're going to service the fork? And also, generally how long does that service take? Thanks again for your efforts with this channel. Of the many mtb channels i sub to, this is my fav.

      I clean out the airspring and lowers, and then regrease and reassemble correctly. If the damper feels wak I’ll put fresh damping oil in and bleed as well but thats rare. I always like to have a fork at its best potential to give the bikes a fair review. A poorly operating fork can ruin the ride and skew my opinion of a bike or fork. Depending on the fork its usually an hour or 2. I don’t like to rush the process

    I wish these were in stock. So much better specced than the turbo levo’s. what did you mean at the start of the video when you said the motor felt under gunned like the Levo?

    Would you think a 29r on rear would make it even better?

    • @mtbtelly5522
      @mtbtelly5522  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t think 29 inch wheels belong at the back. Thats a front wheel only when it comes to descending. 29 rear is great for climbing but not so much for taking bumps

    I think if you feel like there is not a lot of power then you are in a lower power mode. There are three power modes with the EP8 motor eco, trail and boost mode. You can also adjust how much power you have in each of these modes as well. With my turbo levo if I have it in boost mode then it does not require a lot of effort on my behalf to power the bike uphill at a fairly good rate of speed. Play around with the moulds to see what you like. Sometimes I just want to get up the hill as many times as possible, other times I want more of a workout.

    • @mtbtelly5522
      @mtbtelly5522  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I had it in boost the whole time but it was under powered. Once I put it into its second mode on the settings its been killer
