I think Angelica would probably win. If we compare her duel herewith Jack with Elizabeth’s fights, she is pretty much even with Jack the entire fight. Elizabeth, while good, lost to Davy Jones rather quickly in At World’s End, while Jack put up an insane fight and even kind of won considering he disarmed Jones of his sword.
@Count Roy that’s just not true. Elizabeth was a beast in Dead Man’s Chest, slashing through hordes of Jones’ crew practically by herself. And she fights spectacularly alongside Will in At World’s End. Elizabeth’s whole character arc was about ditching the pompous life she had and becoming a fierce pirate.
Sad to know that this is one of the last if not the last sword fight in Jack's prime. He then fights briefly at the fountain of youth and after that Dead Men Tell No Tales follows..
SO much love for this movie! The first GOOD "Pirates" sequel! Elizabeth Swann was perfect for the first movie, but bringing her and Will back for the sequels was a mistake. Angelica is SUCH a better female-pirate lead.
Nox Xelor I didn't mind Will and Liz themselves, but I hate how their classic happy ending at the end of the first movie was ruined by having them dragged back for the sequels. The "Pirates" series should be like "Mad Max," with Jack Sparrow as the only consistent main character, wandering into different people's stories with each movie.
