Luv the sound! So low revving. I got an 88 Springer for 30 years. Probably going rocker clutch and tank change as i have a damaged left wrist.
I like your Stile the bike is very cool I love Jockey Shift had one for 6 years ,

I could write a book on what I like about this bike. I’m curious where you got the inspiration. I’ll just make a few observations . The tires, looks like 16 inch probably 5 inch wide Avons black. The rims are all black including the spokes. With 10 1/2 inch rotor.Looks like an original springer front end probably Harley. Can’t really tell if it’s a hardtail or a softtail.The bars are 30s or 40s style but i think are original just turned down, you got everything on the bars black including the master cylinder. The bike has been lowered in the rear. Looks like 30-40s foot boards. Suicide clutch looks like it came off of Shovel head or Pan Head bike and fabed to the bike because in 1988 Harley didn’t have a suicide clutch on that bike. can’t really tell if it’s and original gearbox or shovel head or Pan Head. Fabricated jockey shift. solo seat hard to tell where it came from. and license plate bracket on the rear axle, (I make those and have them for sale). The tank looks like it came off of a shovel head or Pan Head but it’s original you can tell by the dashboard. you already talked about the primary, looks like you converted it to chain from Belt Drive. Harley had a wet clutch in 1988. Looks like a front fender in the rear. I love that you used an Evo engine and certainly you did a lot to that as well. Evo is the best engine harley ever made. That was just a few comments I’m sure you did a lot more than that including the oil tank. It would be awesome if you would detail every change you made to the bike just for those of us that love that style and would be willing to make one similar to it here in the states. Just brings back so many good memories. The engine idle sounds like a heartbeat. Great job.

Moin! Kannst du mir sagen wie du das mit der Kupplungsstange gelöst hast? Weil die Betätigung also nicht die Wippe gemeint sondern die Stange hinten zum Getriebe wie bei den alten angesteuert wird. Liebe Grüße

Great idea with the belt on the tanks looks great and does the job. I have been riding jockey shift and suicide clutch for 30 years no front brakes ......

Schön deine Maschine! Ich kann den open belt für die 1989er Softail 1340 evo nicht finden. Zwischen 1986 und 1989 gibt es nichts. Wie haben Sie das gemacht? Vielen Dank
