    Awesome! I've watched all 3 video's for the Sailboat. Brilliant, I found them so easy to watch. You have a very calm way of explaining the process. Thank you.

    I like how the grain goes through the sails it makes it look like the wind is blowing and moving the sail. Nice project thanks for doing the videos.

      Thank you! Yeah that's one reason why I enjoy working with white pine compared with basswood. There is much more uniqueness in wood grain with pine.

    I just completed the carving and very happy with it. I decided to use acrylic paint very light colors.

    If it weren't too much trouble, teacher, could you tell me what kind of finish the brand is so I can buy the same product. Thank you very much great detail in his work 😊

      The finish is a mix of mineral spirits and Minwax English Chestnut stain. I'm not totally sure but I think the ratio is 4:1. Thanks!

    Is the undercutting along the right sail very minor? The camera angle doesnt reveal this. Maybe 1 or 2mm ?
    I have parts 1 and 2 done and have enjoyed it alot.

    • @ChiseledOutdoorsCC

      Yeah there is undercutting along the right sail. It’s close to an 1/8 of an inch I’d say.

    Wonderful description on how you approached certain aspects of the project. Do you stain all your projects, do you every try light color washes?

    • @ChiseledOutdoorsCC
      @ChiseledOutdoorsCC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Yes I do stain all of them. I’ve never tried light colored washes before.
