Fantastic advice I worked for IBP in Iowa and I will say that I learned a lot from the industry that would surprise a lot of people who have no idea what goes on the table and what it went on to put it on the table 😮
Travis is right. You can name them but use food names. It's much easier to send them to freezer camp when it's time. As Justin Rhodes says, the animal should only have one bad day, but all others should be good days.

I like to name the chickens I started by naming my birds like Spicy, Extra crispy, and original recipe.
