Here in San Antonio, where i live, the main reason vehicles get broken into is because they are looking for guns. I've had 3 different knuckleheads try in my driveway, until the got lit up by the flood light and camera with an alarm. I am a huge proponent for never leaving weapons in your vehicle.

Regarding the hotel incident: when I mobilized to Ft. Bliss a few years ago, we stopped at a hotel and we had a few people volunteer to stake out the parking lot overnight. It was a bunch of us staying in one place with all the stuff we'd live with for the next year so no unnecessary risks taken.
As far as Trump is concerned, he's a lot better for the cause than people are willing to give him credit for. He's said some things indicitive of being out of touch (might not be so much anymore), but I hope you're willing to listen to what Mark Smith has to say on the issue. He and other lawyers/scholars have pointed out, the ATF ban was more of a long con. If it hadn't gone that way, it would have been left to congress at the time to determine the definition of (or redefine) a machine gun. If you thought the last few years have been uphill battles with anti gunners, just imagine them achieving THAT.....

I own a 2015 Chevrolet High Country 4x4 and I put a very good bolted down rifle safe under the back seat and I can get 3 hunting or 2 AR rifles easily and very safely! I don't keep firearms in the truck except for when I'm traveling!
Yeah Jared it’s simple, DO NOT leave weapons in your car overnight!!! PERIOD!!! The ONLY time I’ve had “trouble” with things growing legs was because I loaded my car the night before a range trip, a tweaker saw me, then took advantage. I should have known better!! YES, the cops were a complete waste of time. I found the guy and literally handed him over, 3 times! With footage!! They gave him a tap on the ass and sent him down the road…… Nicholasville Kentucky police department!!!

I live in a gated HOA neighborhood and every now and then thieves come in and break into cars. They always take somebodies guns. You need to remember to take those out when you get home every time!
I honestly like Tulsi. I watched a few episodes of her podcast and she addressed some of her voting record on gun control. She explained how and why her opinion changed, and that she had a realization as to what the 2A is for: Defense against a tyrannical government.

People do have a change in perspective and with her military friends seems to have influenced her along with how she has been treated by our government as well as what has happened to 45. In all my hobbies, quality of quantity. First gun was a Beretta M9A1. First AR “build” was my LMT MARS-L piston.
One of the reasons I've stuck with my PWS, was even though there's newer, AR's with more features. That original mod0 was run by someone with over 25k rounds, with no appreciable wear in the barrel, and throat.
Love the 308 i got, just hate the fact that it came with a carbine buffer tube. Even with the gas turned to the lowest setting, with a suppressor on there the gun was beating itself pretty hard. Swapped out for an A5 tube/spring and an H3 weight 308 buffer. So much better.
@@Fadaar : They definitely like a heavier buffer. I've often wondered, why no one has invented an air shock, like a mini lightweight fox float shock, to replace stping, and buffer. Infinitely tunable, with air pressure, compression, and rebound.
I can remember growing up down here in SW Louisiana in the early 90s and seeing gun racks in the back window of pretty much everyone's truck with guns on them thinking it was the coolest thing ever. It's kind of crazy to think about it these days because guns wouldn't make it through the night in the same town. Great video as always keepem coming guys!!!
My big exspance with BCA is that I bought a 7" lower at a gun show and didn't do much with it until I decided to rechamber it to 300 Blackout. When I went to remove the barrel nut, it was extremely tight. The opposite of Tony's experience. I believe the issue is BCA clocking the barrel nut to line up the rail. That would explain th diffrence in tightness.
Mist I put on my barrel nuts are 50 ft lbs. If I need to line up the gas tube with a barrel nut, I make sure it is between 40-55 ft lbs. More than enough torque...
So they don’t use shims to make it clock correctly and still keep torque in spec?

Tulsi nominated Bernie Sanders for president at the DNC in 2016. She was a staunch advocate for Medicare for all. Her policies, or at least her rhetoric, when she was in office was among the most progressive in the country, and now she has turned her back on basically all of it. I think her time as a progressive was fake too. She was saying what she thought would get her votes and popularity. That's what she is doing now. She is just saying whatever she needs to say to get enough people to like her and support her. She has no values or foundation. It's just whatever feels good at the moment.
As far as Bear Creek Arsenal. I got one of their 10.5 compete pistols. When I got it, I went over it with a fine tooth comb and several things where wrong with it
1. Had short headspace, could not fully chamber a cartridge. Checked with proper headspace gauges, the bolt face was out of spec by .003
2. All hand guard screws were snug but not tight and no thread locker.
3. Muzzle break was hand tight.
4. Buffer was under wait for a standard buffer by half a Oz.
I purchased it knowing it would probably need part but that I could fix it. Tool craft bolt, completely swapped hand guard, and muzzle brake, and the buffer replaced. Now it runs great without issues.
We were not in the city of Atlanta. We were an hour outside of downtown ATL. Next year is going to be lit. I can't wait to go back.

Trump did us a favor in directing the ATR team ban bump stocks. Congress was ready to act to ban and what he did allowed us to get to where the SCOTUS was able to strike it down. Now not sure he ever saw that coming down the road. Tulsi needs the step up more, especially in her own state. Push back, put to action her words.
Came from the projects as a no gun democrat and my views on the first amendment being based upon the second amendment, definitely has changed.

I agree don't leave guns in cars, the caveat being - I'm not going to be unarmed on my way to and from a location just because i can't carry into the building that is my destination. I'd rather have my gun at least up to the point that i'm required to disarm than to leave it at home.

As far as Tulsi pushing back on her home state of Hawaii, I'm not sure she spends that much time there. I heard she moved to Texas. That could be incorrect. That being said, I agree with you that her record doesn't lead me to trust her now.

People definitely aren't honest on how much they shoot. They will tell you they shoot all the time but after talking with em you'll find out it's been a year or more since they last went to the range.

I bought BCA uppers to learn what is good, whats not, how to disassemble and do QC. I have several of their uppers, different calibers, all had issues out of the box as far as QC. They all shoot, no failures.. but after taking them apart, and correctly assembling them. Great learning materials without breaking the bank. I am now confident in my ability to assemble a rifle, and have moved on to buying better parts and building better rifles. Ive been in the automotive aftermarket for 25 years, if you want to learn about engines, and building your first car, you dont buy a Ferrari, you buy a 1985 Fox body that doesnt run for $500 bucks.
Being a one subject voter is the worse stance possible when it comes to voting. Need to think bigger picture. Being a one subject or issue voter is what got us in this disaster to begin with. For example: over 350k gun owners in Georgia are not registered to vote and do not vote. Think about that? And it’s similar number in most states. Unify and put your damn qualms to the side and Vote 4 America. If you don’t, you can’t get on podcasts and complain about our rights and Constitution being crushed.

I live on the southern side of Atlanta just outside of I-285. I work over in College Park. We’ve had multiple, multi-car break ins at my work site. Even with 24hr security on site. Do not leave ANYTHING in your car, and leave the hot rods at home.
I started with Diamondback tactical back in 2014 and hated it. So unreliable. Got a job and was able to upgrade to PSA, loved those guns. Then eventually upgraded to Aero and was going to upgrade from Aero to BCM or Giessele, but then Illinois decided black guns bad. So much for that. Hoping SCOTUS helps us out.

I have a few psa ars but did Anderson lower on the rifle and a 80% on the pistol. I’ve had no issues but not top of the line at all but I knew what I was purchasing.

Not much of an AR fanboy. At one time I had 6 of them. Now I have 1. But I love the Galil Ace and the AK platform. I now have 5 different Galil Aces and 7 different AK's
Hotel parking lots. You park close together and instead of "patrols" you take two guys at a time and post up in a vehicle for a couple hours. Watch a movie on your phone. It lets you be present, you still get to let them relax, but it keeps eyes out there. Is it a perfect answer, no, but is it added security, yes.
Also, some places keep security at parking lots, it's rare, but finding a place that offers that can fix the problem.
Paranoid? You should always be at condition yellow. It could save you, your loved ones and/or your stuff. Aviators/Aircrew have a great saying, “Your primary mission is to aviate, navigate and communicate. “ It’s all about observing everything that’s going on and having each other’s backs.
What pro 2A advocacy work has Tulsi Gabbard ever done? As firearms companies suck up to her, why haven't they asked this question?
Just take everything out of the vehicles and leave all the doors unlocked.
I think $800 should be the lowest starting point on a decent ar. The 1400-2000 is the real sweet spot where you have a quality gun that also performs and the company offers great customer service.
Big name and big price tags are not always a guarantee of quality, should be!, but not always an assurity.
Especially in the AR world. I have BCM, Wilson Combat, and Blackout Defense ARS I also have DelTon, DPMS, PSA, and S&W, and you would not believe some of the QC issues I've had with Big Guy builds.
As someone who was liberal until 2016 I can see how Tulsi changed. I only voted for Trump was because I couldn't vote for Hilary. 2017 was the year that opened my eyes and I changed substantially. Do I trust her? No. Am I willing to hear her out? Yes I am. Do I think she could help the Trump ticket? You bet your ass!

I have a few Henry Rifles. Had issues with them out of the box (loose screws, loose sight). Sent them to Henry, the fixed it at no cost and had a week (ish) turnaround.
However, My shooting partner CZ TS2 trigger was sht out of the box. 6 months turnaround.
What I want to know is Danielle Defense worth the money. I have a CMMG Banshee, 9mm and love it (I used Johnny 10). I am looking a the Banshee in 5.56 or the DD Mk18. Is the price difference worth it?
My AR used to sit in my truck, for years at a time, but I lived rural. Now being closer to the cities again, still not in, but closer, I don't do it anymore!

I remember building my first AR at 21. I knew it was a piece of junk but it was my junk. It allowed me to learn the manual of arms and was a great clearing trainer! I haven’t gotten an AR since but moved on to a big boy rifle in the M1A. I also just got a PSA AK that is gonna be new to me. I think people get too attached to their creations to admit their flaws. I have a friend of a friend who is selling his build for $1,500.00. That is beyond nuts. I looked at it and nothing about it says +$1,000. And of course my friend is acting like he’s gonna buy it. I’ll let him make the mistake as we all have I’m sure.

I have owned a few bc uppers. I had a ar 10 in 22 250 could not make it run( but with that said, they stood behind it 100%) traded it in for one of there 17hmr uppers side charges. Have about 2000 rds through it with only a hand full of stove pipes( not bad for rim fire. You're all are my 3 favorite utubers. Love you ll together ( please have you pets spayed and neutered) lol
I live in GA and love it but ATL is not the real GA anymore. Unfortunately, ATL is starting to drive the state’s policy and politics and not a good way to. I’m originally from TN and thinking seriously about moving back as soon as I retire.

Obviously you guys have your minds made up but one thing to think about is going from Left to the Right takes time to deprogram. As a kid growing up in a religious household I was conservative then after serving and getting into the world in LA you get brainwashed. I’ve always been 2a but I very slowly went from right to libertarian leaning left socially up until 2020. Thank God I always had enough uncommon sense to not vote Democrat. But my point is it’s a journey coming back to the right hence you see a lot of people being Red Pilled but nobody being Blue Pilled. Concerning Tulsi, we are a Constitutional Republic, that uses Democracy as a decision maker. As humans we are designed to change by circumstances. I believe, trust but verify. Show me, don't say me. She has said a lot. What has she done, lately?
Tulsi does not understand that our rights pre-exist government. That as a representative her sole job is the defense of the rights of the people. For all her education, for all her military training and she still doesn't get it? That means, at least to me, in her heart she believes government is the boss, not we the people.

Tulsi is now doing gun events with AR's and other guns. She's clarified her take on the 2A multiple times and how her views have changed and she's been celebrating the recent wins that we've had in dismantling the ATF's attempts at legislation, including the bump stock ban. She's dedicated her podcast to our individual liberties and why they are so important to keep. My question to you all is what else does she need to do to prove that she isn't going to infringe on the 2A? I, personally, think that she is the best choice for Trump's VP and I think she would do well since she's had experience in DC. Plus, I think she would bring some voters that are on the fence to Trump. Let's face it, no one that's already decided to vote for Trump isn't going to not vote for him if he selects Tulsi

When I switched from IDPA to 3 gun I built a PSA cause divorce... I put a lot of rounds thru the PSA with minor part failures until I eventually got into Daniel Defense and put a LOT of rounds thru that one and the next one before I quit competitions and only had a few small part wear item failures.
My Super Duty has an actual safe under the back seat and a custom one in the in the console, they going to have to steal the truck and torch open the safes to get in. But those trucks do get stolen a lot. I just try not to keep guns in there for extended periods but I do have a BCM truck gun.
Tulsi is a no go for me. Shes a politician that has made no attempts to actually change IMO, so you can believe a word she says. Im with Jared on this one, if she is so pro 2A why isnt she the face of the 2A in Hawaii, that would go a long ways towards changing a lot of minds.

Tulsi Gabbard is wishy washy for the 2nd amendment, BUT strategically from either a VP pick or Sec. of Defense is a pragmatic choice. Frankly there are no more solid republican voters on the fence about Trump, the republican party dies with Trump if he doesn't win. Voters that might be on the fence are middle class women that don't like Trump. Having a strong woman with a military background that leans more moderate on the VP ticket is a invitation for those on the fence. A JD Vance VP pick is just more MAGA sauce on MAGA sauce when you've already secured those voters, no need to keep selling MAGA.

I guarantee you neither of those BCA uppers would even close on 223 headspace, let alone 556 headspace; which means its not even technically safe to fire. (i did anyway..) I bought one, just like Anthony just to see, it doesn't even come close to closing. Also, the firing pin was nitrided instead of chrome, not even good quality nitride; and it sticks in the bolt. If it got carboned up i'd be willing to bet it might go brrr on its own. -_-
