    One of the main things I miss about the east coast, the bartails over here on the west side don’t even come close

    Great video John , looks like a fantastic event.
    What jig head do you have on the clone prawn please ?

    • @mylurebox
      @mylurebox  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They’re a Damiki jig head. Really soft hook but sharp as and the head seems to be good for those prawn style plastics mate ;)

    Hi there, I came across your channel by accident. I've really liking so far. I do have a question. During your 2022 flathead classic, you were dropping down a different type anchor. Was it a mushroom anchor or something you made?

    Hi mate what line class was the shimano zodias rod you were using. And can you show the jig head you used on the prawn plastics you used it looked different thanks

    • @mylurebox
      @mylurebox  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey bro. I was running 6lb in the comp and a short 20lb bite tippet in the end too. The jig head on the clone prawn was a Damiki head. I usually run TT heads. I’ll have to do a run through video of the gear at some stage mate for sure. Cheers.

      @@mylurebox honestly surprised there's not more popularity for one. Granted most experienced anglers can eye ball them I like to pack light for land-based so just one less thing go carry. I'm waiting on mine to be delivered by therodruler but all i could find was ones in inches

      Hi Jackson, I generally run TT but that was a Damiki on the clone prawn. I find em soft after a few fish or rocks but really sharp which was what I needed. The head shape fits those prawn lures well too.
