If you buy it within this year the software is edgetx, so doesn't suck. Sucks only when you bought the first version with opentx

Bootloader is old way, just flash it. Super easy
@@Mikeylikesit1968 as explained in the video. The flash method doesn’t always work with some computers. This tutorial is an explanation on how to get past that issue. Bootloader works great and isn’t finicky like a flashing program
