    Starting to play tomorrow when my Gladiator arrives. You helped me a lot with your videos and now I’m miles ahead and I haven’t even started. Thank you, your channel is really helpful for us beginners :)

    Thanks for this video! Its really great to get this feature on your aircraft... Especially at night, or bad weather conditions.

      Yeah having this at night is great. It takes out all the headaches trying to get home!

    Brilliant. I thought I knew everything I needed about using the Allied radio indicators, I even knew to change frequencies in the P39, but I did not know about the azimuth indicators at all!
    Now if they could allow us to tune to different stations we can triangulate our positions when horribly lost :-)

      Cheers Robin, I had no idea about them either until I started looking into it. The Russian one is such a weird way to approach it though, not a fan of it personally. Having multiple beacons to switch to would be definitely be the way to go!

    Wow! Now THEY seem to make more sense to li'l ol' me than the German one. I'm gonna give THAT a go tomorrow, after a good night's sleep and Mrs Rap's gone out!! Cheers Req!

    What's the big arrow on the remote indicator compass?

    soo how do u select a "station"? what can be a station? do some points (say targets, allied lines, airports, etc) are capable of being stations, how do u know which ones are stations and which aren't? can i select which station I want it to home to? need more details

    • @RequiemsACTL
      @RequiemsACTL  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The process is simplified so the nearest station is selected automatically if there is more than one. If there is only one then that station is always selected. It is up to the mission creator to place the station though, so in Single Player you'll find that a lone station is at your home base but in Multi-Player there could be multiple stations at different bases.

    I wish you could use more than one beacon to triangulate position

    Can we get a detailed high altitude bombing training i still cant figure out how to hit anything, mostly wind direction screws me up

      Yeah I've had a few requests for this. I've done one for the Pe-2 but not the Heinkel yet.

    So here's a question, how do the RAF ones work? Or is it the same as the US Bendix

    • @RequiemsACTL
      @RequiemsACTL  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can't think of any RAF planes in the sim that have homing navigation?

    • @TheWhoamaters
      @TheWhoamaters 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RequiemsACTL Well there's my answer I guess, the RAF ones don't work

    Hi. Do maps have NDB's placed? - how are they shown? Thanks - enjoying your tutorials.

    • @RequiemsACTL
      @RequiemsACTL  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They should be automatically put at your home airfield. I don't believe there is an icon for them on the map unless the mission designer puts it in there

    What editing software do you use to add overlay videos to your recordings?

    • @RequiemsACTL
      @RequiemsACTL  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The older videos were using Corel Videostudio but now I use Adobe Premiere. Other stuff I make using Photoshop.

    I sure wish I had another 50 extra buttons available to map so I can use all these functions in VR. Its silly they make a Sim run so well in VR then leave VR pilots without a way to use the Simulator without taking off the headset to look at the KB. While DCS gives that ability but is unplayable in VR. Its almost like the E.Euro software devs hate their customers, a lot. I wish we could have Microprose or Dynamix back instead.
