This was great, thanks, been searching for "books on horse racing betting" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Senameron Sanyatt Approach - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate got great success with it.

Great advice! The only thing I'd add as a caveat is when you pick a horse at your skill level. That only works if you are the only one riding it. I've ridden for years and could handle a pretty advanced horse in ability and hotter temperament, but my husband and kiddos have no experience whatsoever. I'm still going to be the one riding it the most, but I'd like them and their friends to feel comfortable when I take them to the barn.
I think another way of looking at it would be a horse that meets of the skill level of not the rider, but what it is expected to do with the rider(s) (ability vs. expectations). I think that's a small, but important thing to keep in mind for those also looking. :) Love your videos. I'm glad I subscribed!

Iam like thirteen my horse is a andlion probaly didn’t spell it right apllo is dressage this was helpful apllo is getting old so iam getting a new horse so I ended up getting a Appaloosa named posiden he’s a great horse this video helped a lot iam thinking of doing jumping with him and don’t worry iam still riding apllo

I might get a horse! My mom doesn't know tho, but she's keeps talking about getting one. I think for sure tho im going to keep taking lessons and then we'll see about it

I am 14, I want a horse, I ride other people's horses, take lessons, I feel I'm ready to buy a horse, but with my busy lifestyle, my mom's busy lifestyle, I should wait till I have a job... as sad as it makes me that I would have to wait about 2 extra years, I think it would be worth it. if you got tips on making owning a horse more flexible that would be nice.
@M D thats quite a paragraph! but I will try then, I am not sure if what I am doing now counts as leasing but my life got busier, I got school, my brother does football practice almost every school day. and I had to quit lessons for him. but now I only ride the mans horses and just ride around and deal with them. dealing with this 15 year old gelding. I mainly ride him and get to deal with his mood swings. tired? tries to buck! scared? reverse walk! trust? what's that? so now I can only focus on the 3 or them horses and deal with their quirks.
I ride and work for some friends with horses, but I don't own my own horse, does that make me a beginner? I rode the first time when i was 3, and have been working on a farm since I was 8. I like to consider myself as a good rider, I have ridden many different breeds, and I enjoy trail rides quite a lot. The longest trail ride I've gone on was 3 and 1/2 hours. I am really enthusiastic about horse care and riding, since I dont own my own horse, do I still count as a beginner?
You dont have to necessarily own one, it more depends on the experience. The confidence you have and the enthusiasm is good. It just depends what you can do

I’d say certain warmbloods or draft mixes are a pretty safe bet. I’m also a huge fan of Hanovarians- I love them and they tend to have a bigger build. (I almost bought this beautiful 17’1hh hano with a massive barrel… she was amazing and could def carry that weight easily).
