Nielsen is unlike any of the Germans . Brahms,Reger,Bruckner noone sounds like this . The charm the argument , the lightness without the sarcasm of German humor is totally alien . Something heard so rarely from the early last century. How this Symphony became a concerto is fascinating in itself . Howdid he come up with the plot/plan of thiswork. the solo part is intrinsic but it's just so different from late romantic concerti in sound though it progresses with its cadenza. Somehow its full of surprises .

Sehr schön, auch wenn das Tempo ein wenig vorsichtig ist. Ich frage mich aber, wie kann man mit so ein verkrampften rechten Hand so gut spielen?
