    Ima-Gun Di went out like a real hero, I remember the scene where he was pushing forward and his clone commander behind him saying that he's still with him. Both characters went out with a real heroic end.

    Some like Adi-Gallia or Tiplee might have survived Order 66, since she lost her sister to a clone she might have been warier than most and Adi-Gallia was a member of the council, while several did die there would be a chance she was on a solo mission when it happened. Given how Tiplar acted with Tup she would have died in Order 66, Halsey & Knox probably would have died since Halsey was all heroic and Knox reckless, as for Ima-Gun Di, he would have too much faith in the clones and killed with ease.

    • @r.cdahuman7682
      @r.cdahuman7682 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sadly her sister didn't even survive, since Tiplee was killed by count dooku before the end of the war.

    1:47-1:52: Huh, I didn't know Savage knew the Force Push at this time. I always thought he just slashed Knox with his weapon with enough force to send him flying away.
    Also, you could totally make this a new series, since you only mentioned 6 Jedi here and there were a lot more killed during the Clone Wars before Order 66:
    Battle of Hypori: we lost Master Barrek, his legendary Padawan Sha'a Gi, and Tarr Seirr.
    Battle of Jabiim: Now that was a blood bath, losing Jedis Sirrus, Norcuna, Leska, Rallcema Bylissura, Sana-Jis Ilowa, Dalnus Cam, and the Padawan Pack(Tae Diath, Elora Sund, Windo Nend, Zule Xiss, Mak Lotor, Kass Tod, Vaabesh, and Aubrie Wyn).
    Nadar Veb got killed at Grevious Lair.
    Finn Ertay and that unknown Nikto Jedi got taken out by Maul and Savage just before they got Adi Gallia.
    Battle of Boz Pity: Soon Bayts was yet another victim of Grevious.
    Even some Jedi who died during battles just a little bit before Order 66 took place on those battles, like at the Battle of Mygeeto when the Jedi Rivi-Anu died by getting crushed by a Ventor that fell on her, but not before she used all her remaining strength with to use the Force one handed to slow the Ventor down just enough to give everyone else time to get out of the way.

    • @michaelandreipalon359
      @michaelandreipalon359 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      A lot of Jedi really died on the CWMMP... up to the point that some fans actually complained that some of them didn't deserve to not survive for at least several comics issues.
      *laughs* Master Bayts. Why? Just why, guys who let that joke slide?

    • @zexalbrony4799
      @zexalbrony4799 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@michaelandreipalon359 Yeah, many of them died in the story they were introduced in. So basically they were created just to die. But to be fair, TCW also did that, just look at Nadara, Hasley, Knox, Ima-Gun Di, and Tiplar. Also to be fair, a war story is probably the only kind of story where writers can get away with that a lot, making characters just to die.

    • @baldrian22

      @@zexalbrony4799 its a good way to show how brutal the wars acctualy was. all star wars fans know how skilled a jedi can be on the battle field, but even the strongest warrior will be defeated if the ods is to stacked aigesnt them.

  • @dive107
    @dive107 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Given how the Jedi typically only accepted very young children to prevent close attachments with their parents, what did they do with force-sensitive siblings? This video had me wondering with Tiplee and Tiplar, which I hadn't thought about before. Was that related to their species, like Ki Adi Mundi's exceptions, or were siblings regularly accepted into the Order in general?

    • @Nx57ytre
      @Nx57ytre 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The logical thing would be to raise and train them separately... which in fact could be used to justify that Luke and Leia were separated at birth. In her case, it was also established that they shared a bond through their connection to the Force, which implies that this was the reason why Luke jumped to her rescue (although there is another interpretation, thanks to a couple of scenes deleted in later cuts). ...with good reason but that's another topic).
      I imagine it's common for siblings to have a Force connection which could be a disadvantage in a stress situation but also useful for coordinating attacks.

    Many Jedi died right at the start of the war in the arena on Geonosis. Got a new kind of fear
    You'd fight and you were right

    An honorable death is a Jedi’s best bet during those three grueling years, but only if they fight and die like one should, as the Clone Wars changed a lot of Jedi, causing them to become something that contradicted what they *swore* to become. In the face of an orchestrated conflict that a Sith Lord caused and controls on both sides, one that was meant to not only inevitably eradicate the Jedi but also sully their name as much as possible by the end of it all, dying a Jedi’s death is very important, because no matter what Emperor Palpatine or imperial propaganda says, the memory or memories witnesses have of that guardian knight giving you calming empathetic assurance that everything is going to be ok, slashing away deadly trampling droids with graceful swiftness and courage while wielding a sword of light of green or blue, seeing that ‘friend’ selflessly die for complete strangers just so they could see another sunrise - especially yourself, your friends and family… Those strong, impactful memories will always be there. You’ll know the truth, because the Jedi proved it fighting and dying with everything they got.
