Great breakdown! I know I'm in the minority, but I would love for the O's to bring Tony Taters back on an extension. I know we have prospects waiting in the minors, but he is a proven switch hitter power threat that hasn't been seen in Baltimore since the days of Eddie. 4 yrs/$60M should get it done.
Been saying it for a long time now. Tony Tater, even before he was known as tony taters(LOL) has been my favorite oriole. He is the unsung hero the quiet one that just gets crap done! He is the man!
My concern with Tony is that he tries for a homerun when we just need a hit. Friday night in the bottom of the 10th with Westy on 3rd and 2 outs, just needed a single and he tries to blast it.
We always called it "stepping in the bucket". When you get out of sync with your body, maybe a bit lazy, and you don't have a balanced step into where you want to drive the ball. Instead you step backwards or sideways and essentially try to drive the ball with just your upper body strength if you are able to make contact. A lot of times you wind up late on the swing just because of your timing being off due to the poor foot movement.

Not minority, majority! Keep him!
Great breakdown. Please invite Anthony on your show.

Too many to choose from in June! No one can hit pitchers pitches better than Tony.
