MLB is doing Trevor Bauer dirty. He needs to be given an opportunity to be back in the league. The commissioner needs to reinstate Bauer ASAP so he can make a living for himself. He was never arrested for anything. He only had or still has civil issues with women who aren't good women at all.

Look up the sexual allegations made against Bauer and certain facts that have come to light. In today’s environment, no team or organization wants to “appear” that it condones the kinds of behaviors that have been, rightly or wrongly, attributed to Bauer.

I’d push back a bit on that “absolute stud” characterization for Bauer.
His closest comp is a dude like Robbie Ray. One elite Cy Young year, a few great or good years, and otherwise average or bad years. Wouldn’t you think it was weird if people were out here banging for Robbie Ray like they do for Bauer? He’s been a talented pitcher but you’d think he was Pedro Martinez the way people idolize him.
Ok I regress on the absolute stud comment, I was speaking in terms of in comparison to our current bullpen. Where Robbie ray could work also lol . I don’t like either as a starter with the exception of bauer getting a shot with what he would allegedly accept for a contract.
A mid tier started would be nice to see but I think the bullpen will be the point of focus. Then run a good 3 man rotation in the playoffs with a healthy bullpen.

@@ryanb2607 They’ve both achieved literally the same awards (1 Cy Young, 1 All-Star, and 1 ERA title), are within 1 year of each other for age, and are essentially at the same place as far as career stats/value with Bauer being slightly ahead.
What makes my comparison so off? Not really sure what the value is in saying “you’re wrong” without offering further suggestions/corrections…it’s not like I said 2 + 2 = 5.

There was a troll that would chime in on popular clips with Bauer throwing shade..after the truth came out about Lindsey Hill this person was still ranting about other accusations. After the 2nd women was charged with fraud for false accusations and extortion I have not seen the troll still trying to hate on Trevor.
The only thing Trevor was guilty of was poor judgement and effectively got set up by these women seeking a paycheck, especially given how smart he is. Many others in his position have paid off accusers, but Trevor knew he did nothing wrong and refused to pay.
While this might sound crazy, after watching the 'Screwball' documentary about the PED 'doctor' in South Florida and the methods they used to obtain his records, I do think it is plausible someone high up in the MLB incentivized women who have been with Trevor to make accusations so they(MLB) could punish him for making them look bad over the foreign substance debacle.

His numbers in Mexico suggest he still has elite stuff. Leads the Mexican League in ERA, Ks, and Wins. His ERA is currently 1.56 and he has 102 Ks to only 16 walks.
If someone was putting these numbers up AA or AAA, they would be promoted quickly. The Mexican League is considered AAA.
Also his numbers in Japan were solid despite a shakey start, ERA in the mid 2s with a great K to BB ratio.

Miller was a starter originally and still wants to be a starter as I understand.

Bauer has to be the biggest disparity between talent level and praise level in recent memory. People act like he’s an all-time great when he clearly is not. It’s pretty obvious they’re letting the social issues element far outweigh the production. His stats just don’t justify the extreme level of praise he gets.
