I love this, it feels like a Kenshi cryptid! Could easily see the player coming across journals and dialogue about it, hearing rumours ect. before inevitably hearing that whistle in the distance. Real cool :>

This is very very interessting ... now i'm really curious .. are there more such cryptids in Kenshi beside the Whistler and the Bugmaster?
And yes i see the Bugmaster as a Cryptid since he has unexplainable power over the Insectoid lifeforms of his area and i guess all other insects of Kenshi as well should he go near them
