I bought a model 1892, although made by Miroku/ Winchester. Chambered in 44-40 , had a large loop lever made to resemble Lucas McCain's rifle on the TV western show "The Rifleman". Also bought an 1873 chambered in 44-40 but with a 26 inch octagon barrel.
Dick, nice job on a classic Winchester! A very accurate summary.

I think u got this wrong a little bit? The 32.20 was a rifle cartridge before it was ever a pistol cartridge!
