I was so depressed it was just like this movie!!! The uk was not place for anyone, let alone heroes. So i moved to Australia..... turned out alright.

I really liked this movie, was worth the watch. I first saw this a month ago on London Live. They kept advertising it and I kept saying, 'That guy looks like Denzel' I tried to convince myself that it wasn't him cos of the accent, but it was a pleasant surprise to see that it was him. I noticed some of the stars from Eastenders, even member casts from Desmonds, but what pulled it off was the cockney accent from Denzel Washington and shots of local areas that I recognise as being close to home. Lovely Jubbly kinda movie. 👍

If this is how London was in the late 70s and early 80s, then I can see how one might get depressed. It looks like those Liberals and progressives worked a number on London. How it all survived is beyond me. I mean it looks so dreary and depressed even the people, ordinary people, look to have lost all hope.
