Movies like this is what got time travel popular. Cause if you think about it. When Young Biff was flirting with Lorraine earlier in the movie,Marty was talking to George going over his plan
At 4:22, That accident caused Biff another $300 damaged to his car. Which makes it $600 total damage to his car. With that much, he's probably broke by now. Since he was technically DUI, he must've lost his license, too. Terry won’t be fixing it again after Biff had a huge fight with him about the cost of his car.
Hope Biff enjoy taking the bus, if Hill Valley has one.

Only at one point in the tunnel chase did Marty put both feet on the Hoverboard. Otherwise, he's trying to make it move faster to escape Biff.
May have been better off running.
What does doc mean it would rip through the Delorean. Does he mean the weight or the Ford is faster?
Older cars were made of solid steel and much heavier. Cars have gotten much lighter and designed to crumple under impact for various safety reasons. But mostly bc newer cars are more gas efficient by being lighter.

0:04 absurdly wrong, all road legal ford and chevrolet models before 70 was unable to survive a impact above 50kmh, also the biff cars was even worse, i remember very well when in 60s they tested older cars to review how weaker the old cars was and this ford smashed like paper just with 40kmh, so delorean basically would smash ford like aluminum paper literally, delorean structure is made from aeronautical steel, that is more than 8 times stronger because the material and is much more structured, they made it just to make scene, was easier to say he would not risk damage the hover system. people live the illusion of older cars are stronger but they are absurdly far from reallity, these cars was weaker than some wood frames, and it is not a joke
Did doc describe modern cars he’s in a 46 ford were in a deloreon he will rip through us like tin foil

ALMANAC. YSE.
That’s biffs second crash into the truck this time it’s coal that’s gone all over him this time not the horse poo
I don't think they used real manure either time.
they shoulda done this tunnel scene better, the car didn't look like it was even trying to run over Marty, and there was zero sense of speed.
They did a good job for a movie from 1989 man. It ain't like today where anything is practically possible
Also when he revved the car the nose dropped. The torque would make it rise.
@Ian Kensok I never said they used CGI. And running down the tunnel I'm sure they did use a classic fully functional car. The close up however was likely people pushing on the car to give it more effect. As I stated when you rev an engine when it has enough power and the car (as the one used) in light enough in relation to the power the car rocks with a twisting motion and a slight lift. Not a dip. Cars don't nose down when you give it gas. Torque is a rotational force and the motor will want to spin and will pull up on the motor mount to the outside of that rotation and push on the other. Due to the suspension you see the lift more than the push. Especially on rear wheel drive which that car was.
The issue is cars then were so heavy vs the power those engines made it likely didn't move enough for the director so he had people out of frame push on the car cause he was likely a car guy and didn't pay attention to that detail. Like you. You don't sound mechanical when it comes to cars so you see a real car and hear an engine rev and the car moves so you just assume the scene is correct.
I do agree somewhat - even watching this as a kid, I never got the sense that Marty was in danger when Biff was chasing after him. The car seemed to be going at a snail's pace! 👌
Regardless, the scene had me tense AF
How does Biff become the way he is in 1985 if he still acts like a depraved psycho after George punches him?
It was likely the fact he’d been embarrassed and humiliated by the person he’d picked on for years that made him go into a fit of rage on Marty, and imo him crashing into the manure truck again was what probably humbled him and made him realised he couldn’t carry on how he was.
My dooor! I hate MA DOOOOOR

Boy can you be cheerful
Not really, he wasn’t even paying attention to the windows on his vehicle, just the radio.
Theory: Biff is still a bully after being punched because of the almanac. He knows he'll have his revenge once he's rich. When the book is taken from him, he realises he lost once and for all and becomes friendlier.
That terrible timeline Biff created will not come to pass.
I think 1985-Biff is a two-way street. He's nice to the McFly's for obvious reasons but he can still be a jerk to others. Remember in Part III when Marty grabs the car wax off his truck? Biff reacts with his old demeanor until he realizes it's only Marty and he does a complete attitude 180.
Marty: "Let's land on him, we'll crush his car!"
Doc: (not liking the idea at all) "Marty, he's in a 44 Ford, we're in a DeLorean, he'd rip through us like we were tinfoil!"
46, not 44.
“And cause your asking me to start up kill someone and that’s not something that either of us would want…”

Remember when movies were good.
If you guys don't know why they censor the profanity words they say in the movie is I think it's because to avoid the younger viewers hear it or it's because of the censorship in TH-cam.
Anyway it's pointless, cause younger generation will hear and learn these words sooner or later. You can't just hide from them this information, that ain't work. What will work is to explain them why these words are not worth saying, why their use is inappropriate and destructive. Create in them the right attitude to these words, then they will not speak them.
