She has been an integral part of not only Women's BMX, but also BMX in general and has an incredible amount of knowledge that has come with that. Since Brant put me on the spot to remember things I had to go double check! Women of Freestyle ran from 1999-2008. There were 12 girl riders at our first Jam at the Incline club in 2001. Skill levels were higher then my memory since Cory was already flipping at that point. In 2008 there were 62 rider profiles on the website from across the world!

I love the atmosphere that Ray's has in general, but women's weekend was definitely a confidence booster. Unfortunately one of my friends had a gnarly fall on the first day, but I'm hoping she will have the confidence and want to come back with me at some point. Also, I enjoy having the ability to try things I never dreamed of doing.
BMX for me, was backyard wooden ramps, built over the neighbors gravel driveway. It was on some aluminum bikes and have scars from when I fell. Now I feel I have a controlled environment to try new things, and if I get beat up, I have a support team.

I'm 100% for the progression of females in BMX!
With that said I believe that it should only be one hundred percent females within the category of female.
There's no hate behind this comment, just love and respect for the sport and females.
There's a reason why there's rules and regulations to competitions and it is to make it a Fair competition without anybody having an unnatural advantage.
