Danke! Ärger dich nicht über die Drossel, ich war selber zwei Jahre gedrosselt unterwegs. 2 Jahre, in denen ich mich darauf konzentrieren konnte, die wichtigsten Grundlagen des Kurvenfahrens zu lernen, ohne dabei von Panikbremsungen abgelenkt zu werden, die ich aufgrund zu hoher Geradengeschwindigkeiten (diese werden durch die Drossel verhindert) hätte einleiten müssen. Und was diese 2 Jahre meinem Fahrstil im Endeffekt gebracht haben, das sieht man jetzt ja eh ;) +1 für die Farbwahl! :)

I love the sound of your bike, the roads you drive, and the landscapes, there are no roads or landscapes like those in Uruguay, we doesn´t have any mountains, only big hills and plane fields, but we have beautiful beaches on the east side.

This is the bike I get to use for my driving practice and I absolutely love it already. No race motor for me and I have to admit I love to ride this bike. Nice video and a beautiful view. Drive safely greets from the Netherlands

Best bike what i ever ride.i bought my cb500 two weeks ago and i like it so much. I'm new at all this motorcycle theme. And for me this bike feels so powerfull and cool.
hero blobs!! So that's what they are called in English. Thanks a lot for that, mate :))) Well, the left one's almost gone but the right one's barely scratched. With the CB you got to be careful in right-hand turns because the exhaust's mounted pretty darn low as well and there's a good chance of scraping that thing too if you ride "too hard"...
so ein intro wär mir zviel arbeit gwesn hehehe ;) Ja, besonders der stellenweise frische Asphalt - kamma richtig schön gleeeiiiteeen.
Your CB just seems so much faster than my 2007 CBF 500 which has the same engine and power output. It's fascinating to watch.
thanks a lot Martyn! Compared to other CB500s mine is actually relatively slow because of its old age and 1 tooth less on the front sprocket. It doesn't do more than an actual 160kph (~170 on the speedo)
That's about 100mph which is fast enough on these roads. If you have one tooth down on the front sprocket, that'll explain your increased acceleration, my CBF 500 is standard but I plan to change that soon judging by your videos.

back in the day like 2014 i would look at this video like wow crazy riding but after riding for long and have done some track training i dont find it so crazy

Woow.einfach hammer..das ist der beweis dafür dass man auch mit kleineren maschinen grossen spass haben kann.ich fahre eine 600er supersportler seitdem ich meinen schein habe (2jahre jetzt) und muss sagen dass ich mich noch nicht mal ansatzweise rantraue ans hanging off oder überhaupt mal schräglage...aber mit einer suzuki gsf400 von meinem bruder bin ich viel vertrauter und habe keine angst wenn ich das teil hin und her bewege.fühlt sich schon fast so an als wenn man ein fahrrad fährt.echt toll die kleinen maschinen wenn man anfänger ist,oder in deinem fall auch kein änfänger😀

schwer zu sagen. Fakt ist, die CB500 bietet, meiner Meinung nach, am meisten Motorrad für das wenigste Geld. In Deutschland bekommst du gute Gebrauchte für 1000€. Ich fahr seit 4einhalb Jahren CB und habe unglaublich viel Spaß mit ihr, immer noch. Ich kann auch ohne Probleme mit stärkeren Bikes in Gruppenausfahrten mithalten.(dafür brauchts aber manchmal Eier) Aber ich kann mir halt auch nichts anderes leisten. Sonst hätt ich mir schon ne Street Triple R geholt. Die CB würd ich trotzdem behalten

Nicely done. It looks like a fun bike which you can really use the power on. If I used the throttle like that on my 919 I would be over 100 mph all the time! Very nice indeed!

Sehr schön gefahren. Die CB 500 hatte ich auch. Tolles Bike! Nur leider wären Entdrosselung mit Inspektion neuen Reifen etc. ein wirtschaftlicher Totalschaden gewesen, weswegen ich umgestiegen bin. Ansonsten hätte ich dieses zuverlässige Maschinchen niemals hergegeben, auch wenns ne Zweizylinder ist :P Sag mal Schaaf, was ist eigentlich mit deinem rechten Zeigefinger? :-O
Danke! Der Zeigefinger liegt immer auf der Bremse. Damit er möglichst sicher und schnell wieder aufn Bremshebel zurückfindet, lass ich ihn einfach nach oben gestreckt :)

i mis video of this bike i have a cbf 500 its the same bike but with abs but love the sound now i am getting a mt 07 its just like this bike only bigger engine and better handeling but love the sound of this 500cc beast of a engine

you won't regret buying a CB500 :) The LeoVince only changes the sound, the power stays the same :)
To the ones, who say, he's insane - I don't actually think so - we all drive like that in Austria who grow up in the mountains or have direct access to mountain roads.
