Chris don't ever stop making "Family" a part of your videos. It's definately something special that seems to be disappearing! God bless you and your family always! I always look forward to your videos. So great to see your success too!
IMO, you should not have to ever apologize for having your family participate in your passion. I think it's awesome that you include them in there. Keep up bringing us all smiles!!!
Keep the kiddos in the videos, they are fun to watch. They grow up quick so spend each moment you can with them and hopefully you will have a shop buddy as they get older too
Hello again A Glimpse Inside Thank you for another Great Video. Thank you so much for sharing your family with us!!!! Don't stop, your children need this as much as you do. That time you share is precious. Again thank you
I came to your channel to pick up pointers, tips, on woodworking, I stayed for the cuteness. Your kids and the way you interact with them is great to watch. You're an excellent dad.
So glad to see you expanding. You’re such an inspiration to those of us hustling to get our small business going. Thanks for giving us glimpse of what making it happen looks like!
No need to apologize for the kids in the videos. My kids grew up before I started doing serious woodworking. Happily, one of them comes to the shop, learns woodworking, and teaches blacksmithing! I love your manner with them. Keep it up. And did you hear about the pirate who got mad when his ship drifted away? He had to take anchor management classes.
ADORABLE KIDS!!! Loved this video and am sure it is so much better to have your office/packing supplies separate from your shop so everything stays free of sawdust. Great idea to use the foam board under the mats for flooring. That will be much more comfortable to stand on and the plywood floor molding is a fantastic idea! Looking forward to seeing how you spruce up the exterior of the shed. Thanks for sharing!
Well Done CHRIS!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love the spray foam insulation. Insulates so well, and really bonds all the framing and sheathing together. Makes everything stronger, TIGHT! Way to go CHRIS! 👍👍👍
Love seeing your family in the video, Chris! I watched your stories as this project was going on and I'm glad to see the final product. I think it turned out great! Okay, for the joke: What is a pirate's worst enemy? Termites! - Joe
Another great video man! And don’t ever stop including family in these videos. This will mean so much to those children later in life when they look back. I gotta admit though, I’m a smidge envious my friend . I’m in the middle of building a shop for my son and I (he’s 10), and it’s 12x16. Your packaging shop looks almost as big as our entire makers shop lol! Good for you and i love how you included your daughter’s work space.
Outstanding, love the children and your interactions with them. I know you are totally excited to have all of the office clutter OUT of the shop! I'm getting inspired to clean up my combo shop and office. I really need to do it soon, I waste so much time trying to find things which I covered up with more stuff.
Hi Chris, you keep doing you and have the family in as much as you like or can👍👍 Also what’s a pirates favourite letter? Rrrrrrrrr. Of course.😂😂 To you and your family take care and stay safe ATVB.
Great job there young feller.I gave you a thumbs up because I can't give you two thumbs up..you should have a word with them TH-cam folks ! ..(just a bit envious though here in Ireland).Best of luck with the new space. Paul.
You did a fantastic job! One thing I would of done differently is mount the A/C in the center of the wall. It will cool/heat the area better. Right now it blows into tall boxes. Really marvelous!
As always I loved your video. I was very impressed with the installation of the window AC Unit. We have a 22x15 foot 3rd section of our garage that is enclosed. We us it for crafts and storage and I struggled getting our window A/C installed this pass weekend. I will be removing it and using your installation steps to reinstall it. Much better. Thanks again.
I've been eyeing this video for a while and I was just tripping over stuff in our shed. I hope to do what you did in our shed just to make it more workable. And then on to the wood shop...
Really nice build out for the shed and it looks like it will make a huge difference. When you employ someone to start shipping for you they will have a clean safe space to work and, importantly, not be underfoot in the shop! To err is human, to Arr is Pirate!
Man, it was great meeting you today. Thanks for letting me dig through your trash. Your kids are so cute. I’ve 4 myself. Will be repping your channel on my channel. Would love to interview you. Let me know.
Thanks Jim, right? I believe that was your name. Forgive me if I don’t remember. I appreciate you stopping by always good to meet Fellow creators in this space. If it’s early I can do brother let me know
Well done Chris! See it just takes a bit of time until you find your groove and now the shipping process flows for you. Great setup and we'll organized. Just imagine Chris, my shop is just 2-ft longer than that space which is a shed I insulated and had electric installed with its own sub panel. With in a year I wished I had gotten the 16' x 16' shed. Now it is packed and this winter I will be thinning out duplicate tools and reorganizing the space. I also restore antique hand tools so I need to find a better way to store parts and tools that haven't been restored yet. Funny, my collect has grown a lot lately, lol.
Love the channel. Look forward to every video, especially the ones with guest appearances from your kids. Adorable. Keep up the good work. Here is a pirate joke for you. How do you save a dying pirate. You perform CPARRRRRR!!!! :)
I don’t know about a pirate joke but I visited my optician a couple of years ago and told her that I couldn’t see very far. She took me outside, pointed at the sky and asked “What’s that up there?” I replied: “It’s the sun.” Then she asked: “How far away is it?” And I told her 93 million miles and then she asked “Well, how far do you want to be able to see?” Then we discussed my prescription and she told me they have a new invention. It’s a pair of glass eyes that you put in front of your normal eyes to help make you see better. They work, even though you make a spectacle of yourself. Chris, where Norm Abram was the biscuit joint king, you are the French cleat king. Keep up the good work 🌞
Chris, nice office. Having kids around may slow you down but it is well worth it. Memories that will last forever. The Pittsburgh baseball team, get it pirate joke.
As always love your projects and family time. I was wondering how long it would take for you to outgrow your shop. This is great! Consider a dehumidifier with that air unit and all that cardboard. All the best my friend. Be well and be you!!
Great Job Chris! As requested: What’s the difference between a pirate and a farmer? The pirate buries his treasures, while a farmer treasures his berries.
aglimpseinsideprojects@gmail.com Tom shoot me an email. I love this. I’ll hook you up with a coupon code to save 50 bucks on your entire purchase from my website.
Chris keep up the great videos and never stop having your family as part of them. Here's my pirate joke Why are pirates called pirates? Because they arrrrr! Thanks for the videos there awesome.
Looks great! Can you come whip my new garage into a shop??? 😂 you can bring wife and kiddos! I’ll feed them and help out. ANYTHING! You name it! You’re rocking it. Living my dream!
Wow that turned out really great, wonderful workspace. And I have to say, you have the most adorable shop helpers. It's fun to see the little ones getting involved. I hope that insulation be having a high AHRRRRR factor. (Lame pirate joke)
Love these videos! A few questions about the solid cladding on the walls, looking to add this to a workshop that is already drywalled. Would you recommend adding the plywood on top? Or, removing sections of drywall and attaching the plywood directly to the studs? With the second option I'm thinking 1/2" ply might be enough and would also be flush with existing drywall and outlets etc (not to mention alot cheaper right now). Thanks!
Assonance plywood would be very sufficient. And honestly as long as you can locate the studs really well I was just go over top of it. It will definitely help with soundproofing as well and it’s less work. As long as you don’t mind a microscopically smaller shop lol
07:00 Drill two holes diagonally in opposite corners, then you make two jig saw cuts out from each hole to the corner. Goes much faster and neater than the way you're doing it with one drilled hole.
Chris man, your welcome mat is facing the wrong way, but hey that office is the dogs danglie bits. You say your daughter is 6 this year, well my twin grandsons are 8 in June and their sister is 3 2 weeks later, man I'm getting old lol, take care buddy from Chatham, Kent, England.
Chris I am fairly new to your channel and I am truly enjoying your work and creativity. Pirate Joke - What store do pirates visit to get their hooks? A second hand store!
Nice looking result. Question, are you not required to cover the foam walls with drywall board for fire suppression and then apply your plywood over it?
I believe because it’s not a permanent structure that for one it doesn’t need to be permitted into I don’t think it requires those types of codes. But don’t hold me to that
Ok, time for video ratings. 3 stars for the remodel work. I enjoy watching homeowners do projects. 5+ stars for the kids! Don't ever stop showing the kids! I tune in to your channel just for the kids! We have 10 grand kids and 8 grand nieces & nephews to keep us busy! Now it's time for you to venture out of your C.N.C. box and start building something else. Start with some simple projects such as patio projects. I.E. - planter boxes, tables & chairs, etc. Rockler & Wood Craft have some nice & easy ideas to you to show your viewers and dress up your backyard at the same time. Just a thought. Again, another great video and by the way KEEP THE KIDS IN THE VIDEOS!!!!!!!
Love the channel…keep building! Here’s a silly pirate joke my Mom❤️ loved to tell… Where do pirates keep their Buccaneers? 🏴☠️ Under their buckin hats. 😉

Chris you are soooooooooooo neat! Inspirational. Do you attach a shelf when you use french cleat brackets or do they just 'sit' on top?
Great video. How has the floor held up with the rubber on insulation? Looks like a great idea for a home gym shed.
Great Job Buddy, love the family aspect of your channel. I am going to order a hat now that this office is done!

This is a really really cool space!!! I love everything you did! I’m trying to work towards a 10x32 building now for my wood working stuff myself.
What's a pirate's favorite letter?
Some will say "R", but a sailor's first love will always be the "C".
Love your videos! Keep it up! :)
Curious what you did for the electrical. The shed looks awesome!
Everything is on a 30 amp breaker that is tied into 100 amp box
What do you call a pirate that likes to skip school? Captain Hooky

A dermel/rotozip with a plunge cut router bit works better for plywood and drywall cuts for outlets etc. No pilot holes etc. Drop in and drag around.
