You know, Agent 8's victory is probably the only one Inkopolis knows about it. With Agent 3 and 4 it would be pretty easy to hide it. But with Agent 8, they literally took down a giant statue head with the help of two famous popstars. That's pretty hard to cover up. So of course after they defeat Commander Tartar more Octolings are allowed on the surface. I mean, if one of them saved Inkopolis, they can't ALL be bad, right?
i assume it's fairly likely that between splatoon 1 and 2 the stigma against octolings was dying down considering Marina is largely well received by Inkopolis despite being one herself, and 8 defeated Tartar just helped further assert that.
The official lore is that inklings think octolings are inklings with an extreme hair style

Iirc the general populace thought the incoming Octolings were "exotic" or something, and that was the excuse Off the Hook used on air. Those who know the truth (like Pearl) seemingly kept up the excuse for the Octoling's sake

This is an amazing sendoff to Splatoon 2. This franchise's music is amazing and I'm hella excited for what 3 has in store for us. The Splatfest was amazing, so it's a great sign!

I had a blast in the Splatfest, even if I lost, I had a big grin on my face the whole time and I know what weapons I’m using. Splatanas and Sloshers, maybe Blasters if I like the way they play but I didn’t use them in the Splatfest. What team were you on?

Something I like is when Pearl and Marina harmonize you can hear the differences in their singing skill. It makes sense, and I don’t know if this was intentional, since Pearl is not a singer but she could be learning by listening to Marina

Inklings and octolings have different languages,even japenese has different scripts for them sort of became a thing in the fandom that octolings have “accents”
Pearl likely taught Marina how to speak inklish,as we know she’s more the type to make the music it would make more sense for pearl to actually sing it
@@LycanMOON I just read this, I’m talking about singing ability and not the accent they use when singing. Marina is able to shift her voice into multiple octaves when singing while Pearl can only sing one octave at a time. That’s what I’m talking about
@@LisaVGG well, its mostly because of not the octaves but the styles. for me, Pearl is more 'upbeat rapper' and her outfit gives me that image. while Marina has more 'K-pop singer' wibe there, with her earphone having that effect.
in song, Pearl felt like 'on your face, i am the star here', while marina is there to put pearl to the frontline more, with her more relaxed and smooth voice.
Pearl isn't a singer ? No, she's been singing since childhood.
It's Marina who's more on the tech side of music.

Unfortunately it seems that unlike the writing inklish and octolish have no real rules and are just gibberish that sounds either English or Japanese depending on what band it is

AAAAAHHH!!!! I LOVE how you used the lyrics to Ebb and Flow in this one. I guess it makes sense since Fly Octo Fly is a variant of Ebb and Flow, but I wasn't quite expecting it. El acto final de la Octo Espacion es uno de los mejores cierres que e visto en un videojuego , te pone a prueba todo lo aprendido en el DLC y no deja de ponerte cosas nuevas para luego enfrentar al Agente 3 en un combate muy diferente a todos los vistos hasta ese momento y luego cierra POR TODO LO ALTO con la última misión , el ambiente creado con esta canción es una locura y ustedes lo recrearon a la perfección 10/10
