I know all the talk about how this was taken down but I just want to say as much as we cry for azzy at the end of pacifist sometimes it feels like we forget it's the only route we can save ASGORE the only route he doesn't die At the end of the day this realization is one not talked about much
This is my favorite MOTI Undertale/Deltarune song, besides Chaos King. The only reason why I think this is worse than Chaos King is because Asgore’s voice fits for a younger version of himself, for one during the war. My favorite MOTI song is In The Final.
@@knuxenglish Fair guess, but no. It’s only the songs of the kings. I like Asgore’s friendly personality more than his kingly personality, but I love to see a knight in action.
I'm pretty sure boss monsters cannot die of old age unless they have a child. If the child dies, however, the boss monsters that had that child become immortal again.
MOTI said "legal reasons" with no further clarification. It seems that it's not MOTI's decision, it has nothing to do with the singers involved since they are in other MOTI vids that aren't affected, and if it were with the original song, other songs could be claimed as well. Best I can figure is it has something to do with whoever created the remixes used, but idk the legal situation around that.
I like how the lyrics the crowd sings can occasionally be applied to both Frisk and ASGORE when they are vague. "The pain you have caused" "The friends you have left" "You broke all the laws" "No escaping death" "Did you change their lives?" "Did you make it worth it?" "Did you enjoy your time?" "We wish you could stay" "At least one more day" "Would that be okay?" "We cannot delay." All of these phrases apply both to Asgore and Frisk, spare the first, given it is a true pacifist route. Still, you could say Frisk does inflict a pain to Toriel by leaving her in the ruins. Asgore and Frisk have both left their friends, Frisk left the surface, and either one will die soon. As king, Asgore must ask if what he has done was worth the weight, if he even made change, if he would've rather chosen a different path, while Frisk inherently must ask these questions in their journey. Then, lastly, as the crowd sings about their remorse, they could speak both of the King and child, as either can't stay, and they yet know that this fight must happen now.
i think the first set of lines is meant to be for Asgore, referring to the pain he has caused either himself (cause the constant pain of regret for doing all of this), the other six children or Toriel (both of them having their obvious answers) the friends he has had to distance himself from, (Undyne the other royal guard memebers and, again, Toriel) the laws he has broken to come this far, and as for the line about no escape from death, he's well aware that every time a child has fallen down into the underground someone is bound to die by either his hand. or (if you take the Lyrics from Undyne's Video into account: the lyrics in question being "there were six who came before you, six humans who tried, to get past the royal guard, everyone of them died" ) one of the Members of the royal guard (most likely Undyne's doing as referenced by her mentioning that she knew frisk would come to the place they finally face off for her battle as "they all did, and they all fell") and now that frisk has made it to him, there is no escape from death, either frisk gives up, and dies for good, or frisk kills him and escapes through the barrier.
Little lyrical section for the music box esque segment at the end So much blood So much pain I have lost To my dismay Oh brave child You have won You have beat, the bergentrükung
@@godricktheminecrafted3113 amigo it follows the basically same rhyming scheme as the MOTI one, "so much blood, so much pain" and "I will lose, a son again." pain and again rhyme, and I don't know if we have any 8 year olds in the class but I'm pretty sure that blood doesn't rhyme with with lose. and while yes, pain and dismay aren't exact rhymes, it is perfectly acceptable for two rhyming lyrics in a song to have the same ending sound, not just the same ending.
After Undertale Yellow, I think this song hits way more that it did. I can now understand Asgore's pain better. The souls were just a plot device in the official game, but now, knowing what just one soul could have experienced in the underground, it really opened my eyes on the king's pain

Memories broken, the truth goes unspoken I've even forgotten my name I don't know the season or what is the reason I'm standing here holding my blade A desolate place (place) Without any trace (trace) It's only the cold wind I feel It's me that I spite as I stand up and fight The only thing I know for real There will be blood (blood) shed (shed) The man in the mirror nods his head The only one (one) left (left) Will ride upon the dragon's back Because the mountains don't give back what they take Oh no, there will be blood (blood) shed (shed) It's the only thing I've ever known
Bro this song is literally the perfect representation of what happened to Asgore. Both of children died, he had to kill 6 children so he could help the rest of his people, despite not wanting to kill anyone. He sits alone, his queen gone, no heirs, only his people, who are suffering because of the human race. He really doesn’t want to kill us, but he knows he has to, for the sake of his people. I honestly would say that his soul is Determination just because of this. He easily could have given up his role as king, yet he didn’t, he pushed through the sorrow and pain. This is the reason that Asgore will always be my favorite one of the UT main characters.
A reminder forms future people, it’s heavily doubted that radix is the reason this is down like I’ve heard people say. He reuploaded his (old shame) undertale lyrics shortly before this went down, and songs like mad dummy are still on MoTI even though the lyrics were his

Ty for reuploading this forgotten gem
I know all the talk about how this was taken down but I just want to say as much as we cry for azzy at the end of pacifist sometimes it feels like we forget it's the only route we can save ASGORE the only route he doesn't die
At the end of the day this realization is one not talked about much
I forgot to mention this before. Thanks for re-uploading this I subscribed because of that.
what do purple man and asgore have in common?
-Killed children
-divorced wife
-family issues
-simp for his ex wife
*Inhales* ...no, no...they have a point
wow- They DO have a big point.. IS PURPLE GUY JUST ASGORE IN A COSTUME- this is a joke obviously :D
@@UndergroundFazbearMate he is a guy. Tf you saying "they" for
Am really sad that this got taken down along with metal crusher, but at least they're still in the full musical video they made.
there is a new metal crusher (I don’t know if it’s the original) here is the link th-cam.com/video/l8Yfr04ihPg/w-d-xo.html
This was incredible and the chorus always makes it more epic. Thanks for saving this.
Antagonist does not always mean evil
Someone once described this song as a wall of sound hitting you and I am here to carry that legacy.
I can’t stop seeing the sprite for Asgore while in battle looking like a smile despite knowing it’s just him looking down
I’ve always seen it as his eyes lol
Its a struggle to see it as normal no matter how you see it honestly
А я то думал где эта песня? (Мюзикл) А видать оригинал был удалён с Ютуба. Спасибо за перезалив!
Жаль что русские субтитры вместе с видео пропали. Жаль

This is my favorite MOTI Undertale/Deltarune song, besides Chaos King. The only reason why I think this is worse than Chaos King is because Asgore’s voice fits for a younger version of himself, for one during the war. My favorite MOTI song is In The Final.
So it seems like you have something for rulers/kings
@@knuxenglish Fair guess, but no. It’s only the songs of the kings. I like Asgore’s friendly personality more than his kingly personality, but I love to see a knight in action.
I'm pretty sure boss monsters cannot die of old age unless they have a child. If the child dies, however, the boss monsters that had that child become immortal again.
@@ThePerson13 I know, but he is still middle aged. Here he sounds like a young adult.
@@Sean-qg3gg yep his 1000 years old but still going strong..
The most intense fight between a massive warrior king with a trident and fire magic and literally just a child.
3:09 “The monsters have won!” *asgore loses*
Pretty sure the meaning in that part is that they have won over the "tyranny" that Asgore imposed. By tyranny I call the killing of innocents
dude that ''What have I done?'' sent CHILLS down my back
MOTI said "legal reasons" with no further clarification.
Would you happen to have a link to what they said about it? I would like to pin a link for concrete evidence.

“I will NOT accept your mercy!”
Broken mercy button: am I a joke to you?
I like how the lyrics the crowd sings can occasionally be applied to both Frisk and ASGORE when they are vague.
"The pain you have caused"
"The friends you have left"
"You broke all the laws"
"No escaping death"
"Did you change their lives?"
"Did you make it worth it?"
"Did you enjoy your time?"
"We wish you could stay"
"At least one more day"
"Would that be okay?"
"We cannot delay."
All of these phrases apply both to Asgore and Frisk, spare the first, given it is a true pacifist route.
Tears down my face. Currently shaking violently. Beautifully written.

@@godricktheminecrafted3113 even if they’re _close_ rhymes, they’re still decent lyrics nonetheless.
@@coolroy_25 i mean not really
At no point in this encounter do you ever get the feeling that beating asgore is a good thing
@@godricktheminecrafted3113 amigo it follows the basically same rhyming scheme as the MOTI one,
"so much blood, so much pain" and "I will lose, a son again." pain and again rhyme, and I don't know if we have any 8 year olds in the class but I'm pretty sure that blood doesn't rhyme with with lose. and while yes, pain and dismay aren't exact rhymes, it is perfectly acceptable for two rhyming lyrics in a song to have the same ending sound, not just the same ending.

Jokes aside this song is a freaking masterpiece
After Undertale Yellow, I think this song hits way more that it did.
I can now understand Asgore's pain better. The souls were just a plot device in the official game, but now, knowing what just one soul could have experienced in the underground, it really opened my eyes on the king's pain
if anyone wondered what bergentrucking actually means, it means the king of the mountain.
This is wrong, Bergentrückung actually means "Rapture of the Mountain".
@@simon_magus65ad actually, both of you are correct.
@@fourthmatchflame Explain, please.
Because, the way I see it, we have a compound word consisting of "Berg" -> Mountain and "Entrückung" -> "Rapture". Where does the King come from?
@@simon_magus65ad the term means "montein rapture" but thats only the literal translation.
its also used to talk of the trope of the king in the montin, a hero who will one day return to save the nation, having emerged from the montian.

It’s really too bad someone copyrighted a remix of undertale music, really sad they repressed amazing music like this. If it’s money I figured deals are made for that stuff, and if it’s personal then why was it public to begin with? Standing here
I realize
You are just like me
Trying to make history
But who's to judge
The right from wrong
When our guard is down
I think we'll both agree
That violence breeds violence
But in the end it has to be this way
I've carved my own path
You followed your wrath
But maybe we're both the same
The world has turned
And so many have burned
But nobody is to blame
Yet staring across this barren wasted land
I feel new life will be born
Beneath the blood stained sand
Beneath the blood stained sand
Memories broken, the truth goes unspoken
I've even forgotten my name
I don't know the season or what is the reason
I'm standing here holding my blade
A desolate place (place)
Without any trace (trace)
It's only the cold wind I feel
It's me that I spite as I stand up and fight
The only thing I know for real
There will be blood (blood) shed (shed)
The man in the mirror nods his head
The only one (one) left (left)
Will ride upon the dragon's back
Because the mountains don't give back what they take
Oh no, there will be blood (blood) shed (shed)
It's the only thing I've ever known
You reuploaded this on my birthday

POV: you found your friend’s search history.
Fun fact: the lyrics of the song may rhymed with Mettaton Neo Package The Musical
Oh hi chills, haven't seen you in a hot minute. Bro, that first "Mountain King" sure was something

No it doesn’t. It’s a folklore trope of a great leader in a trance-like state in a mountain who will one day wake up and bring glory to their people.
@@mossyproductions5820 it does I put it through Google translate
@@dragonemperor5986 It’s the German name for this folklore trope: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_asleep_in_mountain . While it does mean Mountain Rapture, it doesn’t really mean Mountain king. And I think the theme of the folklore trope fits perfectly well with Asgore’s character
