This song helped me through a very tough time in my life; quitting my job and going back to school at almost 40 yo, ending a long term traumatic romantic relationship, losing my mother and my 3 pets (all older)... all within 18 months. Every time I felt like my heart was about to recover, it took another blow. It was like I was suddenly starting over in every facet of my life... learning to walk again has been tough. 💜 I'm still here though, thankful for each day. "Dancing on my grave, Running through the fire"

Dave was home from the road just in time to be with his daughter who was learning how to walk, which he said was a real struggle. It occurred to him just how many times in life we all have to start over, starting with falling down as a baby, trying to learn how to walk. Such a fantastic tune.

I love this song it's one of my favorites from FF. I definitely know what it's like to be good at starting over. It can be hard learning to "walk" again. When you get it right, it's a beautiful thing. I hope I never have to do it again. I'm too old now.

'Wasting light' by Foo Fighters is such an amazing record 🔥🔥🤘🤘 Songs like 'Dear Rosemary'... 'Rope' ... 'White limo'... 'Bridge burning'...
It was also produced by Butch Vig (who produced Nirvana's 1991 album 'Nevermind') and Nirvana's bassist Krist Novoselic played on 1 track on the record. It became the first #1 album on the US charts for the Foo Fighters in 2011.

Dave has the best voice in Rock today, imho. Plus he is a great guy that doesn't shy away from showing emotions. Thank you you 2 beautiful people 💟Love + Respect!

Great reaction! To me, this can relate to so many people. Kicking a habit, reconnecting with a loved one, forgiving something, etc. Foo Fighters have been called a “Dad Band”. I’m a Dad and I’m here for all their music! Much love🤓🤠❤️

Foo Fighters are my favorite. If you have seen the movie Falling Down with Michael Douglas, the music video for this song parodies that movie, minus all the dark parts.
They actually did a documentary about the release of this album that goes over their whole history (up to that point obviously) called Back and Forth and it's really interesting if you are into stuff like that.

My favorite band also! Their videos are the best. WALK video only really works if you've seen the movie. IF you have - the video is brilliant.

This song has helped me pull out of so many funks, low points and rock bottoms in my 42 years, I wouldn't even dare trying to count them. But, beyond the personal impact it's had on me, on a purely musical level, the way that Dave structures his songs is among the best that's ever been.

Don't know if you already know this, but a foo fighter was what allied fighter pilots in WWII called any unidentified flying objects, or mysterious aerial phenomena

Thanks for the upload and reaction. Great band, great song, great guy. Dave Grohl always reminds me of the drummer from Nirvana 😉
But now for something completely different: This song has a sensational music video. Based on the movie "Falling Down" with Michael Douglas. A movie you guys should definitely feature in your "Reelin' With Asia and BJ" channel.

Man, if people looked up the meaning of a lot of Foo Fighter's songs.... they are deep! This band is incredible... Dave Grohl is legendary, and he is so humble too. Their music is so unorthodox and unique. I've always wondered what would happen if Kirk Cobain was still alive and Nirvana was still a band. I don't know... but I know part of the legend of Nirvana was definitely Dave! Wish I could meet the guy and thank him for some bad@$$ music!

Can you please react to the song glass by the Foo Fighters? The song is about the lead singer, Dave and his mother being in the hospital dying of cancer and her being his hero and having to love her through the glass you’ll love it. It’s an amazing song, probably one of their best and I’ve been a fan for almost 30 years and I’ve been to several live shows.

Dave Grohl (singer & guitar player in Foo Fighters, he was also the drummer in Nirvana in the 90’s) is basically the Paul McCartney of today. He just writes 1 immaculate song after another. The Foo Fighters have probably 20 songs like this, but even the lesser known tracks are amazing. If you’re looking for a real experience, listen to their new song “The Teacher” that they just released. Its a tribute to his mom who was a teacher and passed away just last year. So emotional & inspirational. ❤
