    Great video. I finally picked up a pair of Pavotubes and wonder why the heck I waited so long. So useful.

    Wow, I had never seen anything about the softness difference depending on the direction you put a tube - that was magical. So, for you all it’s more about the versatility of the light source in its placement, easy hiding, and kicker capabilities.
    I would love to see more videos where you explain your lighting and how the lights or your setups work together. For instance, that BTS clip where you showed the 2x1 Falcon eyes panels was super interesting, having one above the subject and one below - what’s the reason for the one below?
    Also, would love to see some lighting setups where you all are using the tubes. You showed some great use cases there around your studio like the bench/shelf and drop ceiling setups, but I’d love to see those in action creating your shots! Or other use cases!
    Thanks you all for always creating some of the BEST filmmaking content on TH-cam!

      The over under lighting you see there is a type of butterfly beauty lighting and can work well when doing portraits (especially with females) We used 2 lights for that set-up but will often use a soft box on the top and a soft bounce board on the bottom.
      Well definitely keep those suggestions in mind for future videos! Glad you enjoyed it and we appreciate you watching!

      what difference does it make if aputure makes it or someone else?

      @@iComplainer we use their app often to control our lights. it'd be nice to extend that control when possible. also, aputure generally make good products.

      @@threefoldtv there’s actually a company called SGC lighting making RGB tubes that use Sidus Link. You might want to look into them if you haven’t already.

    Caleb, thanks for this. Great video!!! I have a quick question that I really hope you can answer for us :
    Does the power button require us to PRESS & HOLD to power on and off? Or can we power ON and OFF with just the push of the button? Thanks.

      Same here, I mean we know about the left one, but the right looks new to me. Is it also custom made or of the Shelf?

    • @threefoldtv
      @threefoldtv  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The one on the right is just a standard off the shelf Duz all cart! It's a real beast to move around but can carry a serious amount of equipment!

      @@threefoldtv I am looking at vans and am honestly not sure if I want to put shelving in, or just put everything on carts that I can roll out on set. My guess is that I'll do half and half.

      @@threefoldtv Thx I’ll probably build my own duz all though. They are really hard to get here in Germany, it’s ironic because I literally drive past arri regularly but nobody makes „of the shelf“ gearcarts 😅
