I used to do that to trim my trees ..lol safer than a ladder..😊
Another option would be to use the Kyoti tractor and put a pallet with a piece of plywood on top on the forks. It's obviously a 2 person.job. Did this to spray our orchard trees. 😊

I am a 5' tall woman, and we bought a rancher style house with a partially covered deck. The first summer that we were in the house, I stood on a ladder to pressure wash the deck. It was not too bad. Then I did give the deck a good water proofing. It did give my legs a work out though. I will have to do that again . this summer. God bless you both and your entire family.
I love your plastic flowers! In fact I ordered some too because here in Phoenix I could not keep the hanging plants alive. I say keep them!👍👍
And to keep the birds out of them, I read to soak some cotton balls in peppermint oil and place them in the pots.
Peppermint is also a good mosquito & fly repellent.
My grandma would put it on cotton balls & pin a few to her screen doors. As they got weaker she would put fresh ones on. Always smelt so good. 🙏🥰💞

Chad there is a product called Revive , I used it 12 years ago to refresh a 10 year old cedar fence (750 ft of it). When we sold our house the new owner actually thought the fence was new as it looked so good. I always used Thompson prior but on a deck it was always hot on bare feet. Revive wasn’t as we also used it on a 12x12 raised deck.

You are describing my old and new railing in our before and after fire patio. There is a 4" gap under the rail so you can sweep underneath. I have something that was leftover from our original patio build that was not re-used. We have the same 'fan' of timbers in the front and I really love the detail. Will try and ship it asap. It's hot, here, too! Slow moving.
Our son lived in the country and I loved power washing his home. Like you said very satisfying.
Do the half circle steps in the corner like you said in the past video and instead of of the wood spindles do the wire cable . 😊

Yes a deck around the pool would make the pool. The power washing made the house look new you are doing a good job.
Every year in June,I would power wash all my outside decking,people would always think I got new decking put down.I never used bleach,just plain water.When you are done,it will look brand new.when it dries,you can tell if you missed a spot and go over it.🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

You can get a rotary cleaner to do surfaces. Don't forget to water seal the surface. Retains the beauty.

Great job Chad , I did this on a small deck each summer that was under 200 yr old pine trees and I loved the look. Cedar is awesome and smells so good and your house looks brand new. Bless You Chad the work pays off and then you even cook dinner. You are the Man. Yes a deck around the pool would be great. I dont like too many stairs off decks cause kids run and slip. Just me I worry too much

Chad think about changing the side area to a rap around deck ( connecting it to the back yard ) also add a patio door to the master bedroom. giving you a walk out to a deck to have your morning coffee in private before the guys wake up. also make a coffee bar in the bedroom when you do it.
Ray look into Pink chairs at any hardware store or wal mart next spring ( shop early )

Though it is odd to see the two different colors of wood on the deck, but it is a great space and looks wonderful with the pool. You made it look spiffy as my grandpa use to say. The power washing just looks amazing Chad! I love it! The cedar is beautiful. We used to have a large concrete top dock at our cabin on the river and it had railing with benches all the way around it. Was very nice for everyone to gather and sit down to relax when it got shady. Some large critters tunneled underneath the concrete, so during the hundred year flood the concrete that was once Scott's Landing and the base for our wooden docks was lost. Some of it still is under the water out front, so no more diving from the tiny little dock our stingy rich aunt put down there. But it's still intact for years which is more than you can say for the wooden docks that had to be replaced/repaired just about every year or so. I sure miss my cabin and river, but time moves on and we have to let go...and it just remains in our memories.
House looks GREAT. Give it a few weeks before you put any type of sealer on it.Let it dry from the power wash.
Second thing is PLEASE put some king of ramp in the pool for the dogs to get out on their own JUST IN CASE. We lost a gold Lab she drowned in our pool.The kids forgot to put the ladder back in,( long story) You could make a floating ramp with the extra wood you have from the deck, Hinge it to the deck so you can flip it out while your in the pool.Put some outdoor carpet on it.
Some of the flowering bushes you could put at the gate.Just an idea.
You could always do a step down into a pit area. Come off of deck and put rock and hot tub in the lower pit area. Use the same railing from porch to pool deck area
