- Welcome back! In today's violin tutorial, I want to demonstrate the 3 main types for chords on the violin (or any stringed instrument) 🎻
Each chord has a different purpose, and influences what the mood of the music is, aka how we feel. Good luck! 🤗🎶

I like 3- & 4- note chord! But obviously, it's the hardest, but practice makes perfect! Thank you for this short and yet easy to understand video, Sumina! 🥰
3 note chords on g d and a are pretty easy everything after that is painful bro 😭
I had to learn how to play three chord, notes for prelude and allegro by Fritz kreizler
Your violin has a beautiful ring to it, very clean with no rattle or wavering. The way you play really compliments the violin, you made a great choice. You sound wonderful.😊
The online thing I wanted to write. The Autopilot als always the same.
The only thing I wanted to write. Alas always the same with the Autopilot. It changes my words permanently.
I don’t think it’s suppose to rattle lol but if you put rosin each time you play it sounds amazing
@@811tea I have heard some old violins and they had a rattle, it didnt matter who played it the sound would carry a rattle.
@@artjohnson4133 What do you mean by rattle tho? Like rattle because of lose fine tuners or something else?
Honestly, broken chords have always sounded so awesome to me. They feel like they make the instrument sing in a way that gives me goose bumps
What she said: Here's an example of the 24 Pag caprice
What she actually said: Here's an example of me flexing.
Fr my eye twitched and then, my brain immediately went offline 🕯️
Y’all are trippin and infected by twoset’s exaggeration of the Paganini caprices. She literally played an excerpt of the Bruch VC which is harder to play (I’m talking about the excerpts not the works as a whole) but you only react to the fact that she played Paganini? So dumb.
@@gabrielmanuntag3185 "exaggeration" "works as a whole" you just contradicted yourself. "So dumb" indeed. Do you even play? Even if you do, why don't you learn how to be a respectful person first.
Truthfully, I don't much enjoy his pieces. I also think that Locatelli's caprice is more challenging but still, no violinist would deny the technical difficulties of playing Paganini's works regardless of whether they like him or not. Even though she only played a bit, it's still the hardest of Paganini's caprices.
Thank you for the translation
@Gabriel Manuntag twoset didnt ‘infect us’ they just said an idea about the technical difficulties of the piece. they dont say that its the hardest piece tho. so like stop blaming twoset for educating people.
I'm new to violin and obviously still a beginner. I've already had 7 sessions with my violin coach (once per week) and still haven't even mastered the basic😢 just a while ago I got really pissed, annoyed, and frustrated at how badly I was playing the violin. The strings were scratchy, my muscles were hurting, I was feeling muscle tension as well, trying to keep in mind to practice proper posture, the right bowing, my elbows and wrists. I put the violin down and yelled, "I GIVE UP". Searching up what I'm doing wrong with my violin, I came across this short, and you played so beautifully and majestically, which is something I really wanna achieve😢 this reminded me WHY I chose to play violin. So I will keep practicing more and more until I get better and side myself with patience and a calm, peaceful mind. I've been so angry and frustrated it never helped my relationship with my violin, and I've never improved.
I'm awestruck by your playing. Huge respect.
She's one of my favorites.
I was not interested in classic music before but I'm really into it now.
I've been amazed at powerful and beautiful sounds of orchestra since I got an old Onkyo speaker system at my house.
An audio mania helped set up the whole audio system because when I set it, it gave me terrible sounds.
Now it gives fantastic sounds.
My fovorite Iris bidan😏
THANKS FOR THE TUTORIAL!!
Well Well, I think this is the universe telling me to start learning chords on the violin. Thanks for the videos. You're awesome.

Lehrreich.
Thx so much im thinking of geting a violin and u help me so much
That loop at the end is sick
im a fan of the 3 + 4 note ones they really let you go all out
Thanks for this video. I'm not a musician but I love the sound of string instruments and I'm always like what's that sound. It always helps to know some of the vocabulary
Sec and I’m planning to play a violin in the future 🎻
I have to go with 3&4 note chords! it's such a well rounded and full sound and just pleasant to the ears when done correctly. These are featured in many classical pieces that I love too
I Really like the triple/quad stops
When you played the broken chord I thought of paganiniana and then you played Paganini and I was so impressed
Beautifull music... And YOU are beautifull to Sumina! ❤❤❤😍

Воспринимая эпохи и времена, предпочитая я не ломаю эту силу. Я хочу ее играть на инструменте. Whis love.Russian . olga.♥️🌹
Entendí perfectamente.
I wisshh u were my music teacher
I tend to favour the arpeggiated chord style personally, but they all have their place!😊
I love 🇧🇷❤️
amazing m
Man I want to to learn violin so bad. I'm a guitar player but violin has always been my favorite instrument. I only learned guitar because my older brother played guitar so it was easily accessible to me. Whenever I think about getting a violin I just look at all my guitars and amps and pedals and just feel sad. i know for a fact that once i get a violin all of my playtime will go to that instead. All of my thousands of hours of guitar, my money on gear.. itll all just be a memory. I know that I *could* still play guitar while learning violin but I know I wont. I have a very 1 track mind. Anything I do I tunnel vision on. And with how hard violin is to learn it's probably for the best that I would focus solely on practicing it. Idk. Maybe one day I'll gain the confidence to switch to violin.
Wowww you have one tuner. 😀😀 That's awesome
Fun fact! One of the big differences in the preparation and playing of fiddles (as opposed to violins) is that oftentimes, the bridge is shaved down to to facilitate chords more easily. Double stops and “dronal” playing styles (in which a second string is continually played while the string which the melody is being played on [the melody line/string] is bowed. For instance, continually playing both A and D while playing the melody on the A string) are vital portions of the American South’s distinctive musical style!
I’ve got no idea how to play string instruments and I play trumpet but love your videos
