PLEASE READ: 1. I DID WATCH THE FULL TRAILER! I watched two versions and neither had Geralts voice in the end, it seems to have been in the live version from Game Awards only. Here is proof: th-cam.com/video/54dabgZJ5YA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eUkGCgznh-9KOR3D 2. For those who complain about Ciri becoming the protagonist. As the story progresses, Geralt ALMOST becomes a "side character" in the books. The whole story has always focused on Ciri. With Witcher 3, he finally did what he wanted to do - bring back Ciri, protect her from the Wild Hunt and help her prevent the White Frost. Geralts story is basically concluded. 🐺⚔ Cirilla as the next protagonist makes sense. The games are so awesome because all characters have a story, they share experiences, memories. If we introduce a random, DIY Witcher, they won't be addressed with their name, there won't be shared memories, all the little inside-jokes they have.. That Witcher would stick out like a sore thumb. I'd rather play as Ciri, a character I know and love, that knows and loves Geralt and Yen. Book spoiler: If we can ignore that Geralt and Yen died in the books, and can be brought back from the dead to make Witcher 1-3, then we can ignore the fact that the book stated females can't be Witchers. If Avallach as an adult can survive the trial of the grasses with the help of Yennefers powers, why not the child of the Elder Blood as well.
We all read the books, but you cannot ''PLAY'' the books, lady. And Ciri's personality in Witcher 3 was that of a plank. But hey, maybe they will give her a new personality.
Yeah Ciri beeing a full witcher does not spark my likeing very much. The main character no problem, but a witcher? It takes away her unique character and the trail of grasses was never done on adults in the books, because adult bodies could not handle it. This throws so much lore out the window, i don't know what i make of this. Hype is absolutely not there only a sour taste. Same with her ability to draw power from the elements. Sure she learned it from Yen but destroyed it herself, because she saved a unicorn. I don't like this and i read the books sevearl times!
I am to understand that you are only referring to the books titled Lady of the Lake and Tower of the Swallow. What about the rest of the books/stories? As far as I know, only in these two editions Ciri “prevails” as the main character. You wrote that Geralt is almost a side character, in what other books besides the ones I mentioned above?
@@danieljung5862 It's clear that decades have passed between the Witcher 3 and this game. There's a number of ways they could come up with to legitimately make it possible for her to take some kind of Witcher potion. At the end of the day, that is NOT gonna be what makes or breaks how good this game is. It'll come down to the actual writing and gameplay and story, not strict adherence to known lore.
When I first went through The Witcher One, I had no idea that it would become such a hit trilogy and the whole saga would get worldwide satisfaction. I love now how Witcher girls are touched by the fact that we'll be playing as Ciri. Love it.
'There are no girls here, only transgenders!' Think they'll put top surgery scars on Cirilla? I sure hope so! That would be even better for when I'm NOT playing this game, and watching the terrible reviews on TH-cam...
According to tvgry, who have information from CD PROJEKT RED: - The main character is Ciri - Ciri is voiced by Ciara Berkeley in the English version - Ciri is a Witcher, after grass trial (no more info yet) - In the trailer we see the village of Burina in the far north (we don't know yet in which region exactly) - Sebastian Kalemba, Game Director of The Witcher says that the Studio wants to allow players explore new lands and new regions - The silver sword which Ciri uses is the well-known Swallow - The monster is Bauk, created based on Serbian mythology. This is a large monster and interestingly, the approach to this monster design, was influenced by the Cyberpunk expansion. Sebastian Kalemba mentioned in an interview that working on the Chimera in the "Phantom of Liberty" allowed the Studio to take another step in understanding fow to properly create large opponents in the game. The scale of the monster in relation to our character is important and will be important in terms of how we will have to defeat such a nice guy in the game. ...For more information, please type: "Wiedźmin 4 - wszystko, co wiemy z pierwszej zapowiedzi" and see English subtitles :D
"Ciri is a Witcher, after grass trial (no more info yet)" - this sounds very bad... there is none left who knew how that trial looked. Geralt was last generation of the witchers (so kids who had the trial) and he didn't have any deeper knowledge about it. Vesemir was probably the last who had any deeper idea how it was done. If this is true is seems that they ignore more and more of the lore to do what they want...
@@barno9752 Do not remember details from the games. In books Yen had very small knowledge about the witchers. In the books trial is a thing of the past. No one does it anymore. So even if she did trial of the grass in the game it is a lore stretch. But well, CDPR really wants Ciri as a witcher so they push it. I hoped they will move back in time and have many working witcher schools which would give us ability to make our own witchers with different schools and so on. Ciri was OP already in W3, so they need to make bunch of changes and nerfs to give us some progress :).
@@wojtek1582 I don't see it as that of a stretch. It existed once, it can be rediscovered again. I won't judge until the game is out and we get to see how they explain it. Only then we'll be able to fairly say it's a good or bad explanation
You can see at 3:57 when the villager asks "whose coin did ye take?" that the father of the girl to be sacrificed looks down, as if in shame of himself, going to show that he paid Ciri to save his daughter.
@@lorkano What source material? Netflix and Henry Cavill wrote The Witcher, and now they are making a game based on it. Please don't believe the conspiracy theories that Witcher originated in Poland. I was there, and it looked nothing like the Witcher world, and there were no monsters like you see in the show. We finally get Queen bisexual lead in the game
@ bro, I love Geralt but his story is done. We had 3 games with Geralt, the Witcher 3 was his send off, it’s very clear from the blood and wine DLC. And CDPR has openly stated for years that this was their plan, to retire him. We all knew next game would be about Ciri, I love her too. Besides Geralt will still be in the game to a degree
if you dont play Witcher to play 1 w8 for remake what is going on right now , you can start witch 2 , but 3 is GOTY for so many years that you can start with it and you dont regred
Please play lol can’t die without playing 3, like I said a lot tho 4 is going to be iffy as hell because they are f**king up the lore with this one but 100% play 3 and at least try 4 when it’s out I guess 🤷🏾♂
@@dr.embersfield1551 yeah i know, but not all know bird names in english if its not their native tongue , and this generation knows that world from another thing :D
Well you should play the games they are literally some of the best games I’ve enjoyed playing 100% you could start with 3 actually then play 1 and 2 but up to you really 🤷🏾♂ just wouldn’t recommend starting with 4 when it comes out… thing is for 4 they are doing stuff that makes no sense like making Ciri a Witcher and in the hard lore that’s not supposed to be possible, she also doesn’t really act like herself in this trailer and it seems like they wanted to make her into a girl boss character despite the fact that she already is they didn’t need to f**k with the lore to do that so probably don’t expect the story telling to be all that good because they are changing stuff based on nonsense.. and they already said they are looking to bring a new group of players into the game aka they are probably going to f**k up the story to please the so called modern audience, just keep that in mind when playing enjoy 3 and love it because 4 is going to ruin stuff. Like her character, the lore, the overall story and more sadly. This game isn’t being made for the actual fans. Fair warning ⚰🪦
@@herbertcoxe3601 I went through this with someone on Twitter. Claiming it breaks lore or whatever. Except until you know what the story is, why and how you have no idea if it breaks lore. From what I understand especially with Witcher 3 CDPR have sort of created a parallel lore rather than a 1 to 1 adaptation of the books anyway. From what I've been told from book readers, it's only THOUGHT that women can't be Witchers because none of them have survived the process so they stopped. This doesn't mean it's impossible and I've been told it's never explicitly stated to be impossible. Just thought to be. From reading others reactions it also seems there's some time passage between 3 and what 4 will be. So until you're filled in on what the characters have experienced in between you have no idea what's in character, just that she's a bit different than the last time you saw her, which should be expected IMO. So I'm not buying any of these "it breaks lore" arguments and the other stuff that seem to be dishonest and fueled by an agenda. This was just a cinematic. This whole sequence may not even be a part of the game at all. You had like maybe 3 lines from Ciri and her looks, I don't see how you could possibly make the judgment you have about what they're doing with the game tbh. All that being said. I bought the first 2 for Steam and have owned 3 for a while and will see what 1 and 2 are like and if I can get into them. But definitely plan on playing 3 now because I think I'm gonna want to play 4 specifically because with my limited Witcher exposure she seems interesting.
There was a theory that Ciri's powers diminished after defeating the white frost, allowing her to use limited magic. Maybe she won't be that OP, we will see.
op how when in game she was weakand terrible. where in witcher 3 was she op? teleporting with sword? she did zero powers other than cutscene. where you getting op
I liked the subtle details of the trailer, the "villain" of the village at the beginning you briefly see the handle of his knife in his belt, then at the end the blade is missing from his waist. So clearly he was one who killed the girl. Nice touches.
@@boskee well, from a marketing point of view it is not weird at all. First, they give the awards attendants and producers something very special and exclusive, second if you want to know it all, you'll most likely watch both awards version and reactors version. Third, CDPR are absolute masters of marketing and hype and I'm 100% sure it was deliberate and it spikes up conversations about the game, the trailer, Geralt and everything game related. Such a small thing, but don't forget they had a whole team working on this trailer and years to think about it, and I'm sure they thought about every single little detail in this trailer, because it can bring them BILLIONS $ if executed right or end them if done wrong.
@@ImotekhtheStormlord-tx2it Don't be so quick to jump to DEI accusations, you can't claim it's contradictory if the games haven't had a chance to explain it yet. It is simply a trailer
@@ImotekhtheStormlord-tx2it Contradicting lore doesn't have anything to do with some DEI stuff. And having a woman as the protagonist isn't instantly DEI either, at least not in this case, because Ciri has been part of this franchise for forever and it only makes sense to see her as the protagonist.
That was Bauk, an animal like mythical creature with its roots in Serbian mythology. The bauk is described as hiding in dark places, holes, or abandoned houses, waiting to grab, carry away, and devour its victim.
"Evil is evil, lesser, greater, middeling it makes no diffrent. If I'm to choose between one evil and another I'd rather not choose at all" -Geralt of Rivia
Fellow massive Witcher fan here. Also was not expecting this trailer and I was buzzing around my home when I saw it! No doubt it’s a couple years out but I don’t care, I’ll wait as long as needed for Ciri!
I love her braid. It makes her look like a princess-warrior kind of character. Maybe she'll look differently depending on which ending you choose to follow from W3.
Man, watching it the second time hits different. Seeing the conviction and bravery of the girl about to sacrifice herself for the sake of her community, while knowing what end she’ll meet at the hands of these same people… I hope we can change the outcome in the game if this scene will be in it. Fantastic review/analysis of the trailer. There’s a couple of things I thought of while watching it too. Coen, witcher from the School of Griffin, also had yellow and green eyes! He’d been quite wholesome in his interactions with Ciri during her stay in Kaer Morhen. Maybe devs intended to pay homage to him that way, and we’ll get a comment about this similarly from one of the witchers during the game? Would be cool. Also Ciri’s braid might be symbolic in some way. Braids used to be very significant in slavic cultures. Their meaning changes depending on the number of braids, positions( down the back/ over a shoulder ), and accessories woven into them. I’m not sure about Polish specifics, but Ciri’s thick single braid laid over her shoulder, might symbolize her maturity/inner strength. Or I’m just reading too much into it and devs just thought it looks cool(it does look cool as hell).
Region is far north, maybe around Dragon mountains. And the monster is a BAUK, derived from Serbian mythology ... And I'm from Serbia 😁, cannot express how happy I am.
Visually the trailer is a masterclass in atmosphere and storytelling. I hope that CDPR finds a lore apropriate way to explain how exactly she survived the trial of the grasses and how it influenced her elder blood, they can't just retcon it away and say "trust us bro", it could even be part of the prologue or something. I don't envy CDPR writers and their difficult task that lies ahead of them. Other than that I really have no objections at this time. I see some people complaining about how shee looks in the trailer and I have some things to say about that: first of all Geralt from "a night to remember" cinematic looks NOTHING like he does ingame so its very possible that the final Ciri model will look different ingame as well. And even if they didn't change her from this cinematic version, calling her unatractive or ugly is just plain grifting at this point. Lets not forget that the game director states that its been many years since TW3 (which could mean she's anywhere between in her 30s or 40s in this cinematic, since witchers age much slower thanks to their mutant metabolism). And lets be real... you would still hit that... Anyway, gonna be a looong 2-3 years as we wait for more details.
Always great to see the reaction of a person that is so into the universe of what they're watching! I agree that her voice didn't quite sound like the grown up version of the Ciri of Witcher 3 to me and she has a way darker demeanor now instead of the fairly light one in 3, which I can accept.
I don't understand why some guys are so pressed that Ciri is the next lead. ITS OBVIOUS. It was set in Witcher 3 I mean we actually PLAYED AS HER. The whole saga is about her and Geralt. Personally as a woman I never had any issues playing as Geralt, it's a fantasy game ffs.
bunch of incels if you ask me. Those "dudes" don't care what the story is, or how it was in TW3, they see woman and just hate it for no reason. Its not like she's a new character either, she's already well written character so there is no concern of getting a poorly written female lead like most stuff have these days.
It's because Ciri CANNOT be a Witcher. Trials of the Grasses dont work on females, nor on adults. Both of which Ciri was. And her Elder Blood would have fought the mutations. This game breaks lore. Its stupid to downgrade her into a Witcher, she was more powerful than Witchers. Also, she is NOT a Goddess. She time travels, yes, but is a NORMAL HUMAN outside of that. She is NOT a Goddess. She isn't an Elf, she has a normal human lifespan. And the books DID say that Witchers cant be females.
@@friendofdavid1423 The books also killed Yen and Geralt in the end, and here we are, 3 more games with Geralt and Yen still alive and kicking. Witcher 3 also performed the trial of the grasses on an adult, and he survived - Uma/Avallach. So I take it the only issue is that she is a woman? Well, she DOES have the Elder Blood.. which does make her special in many ways. The water of Brokilon also had no effect on her. CDPR already said that the game itself will tell us what happened to her. If they can bring back Geralt and Yen FROM THE DEAD and make it work, I believe they can explain how Ciri can become a Witcher.
We don't have a problem playing as women, I've just platinumed Stellar Blade, but Ciri going through the trial of grasses is lore breaking and unneeded she was already OP in the Witcher 3
Your reaction to this trailer has been my favorite. Not just for pointing out something I missed which was her medallion type from the another school, but because I also couldn't help being moved to tears when I first saw this. While I tried to show it to my significant other I am certain as I laid next to her that she could feel all the moments my body tensed in my abdomen from the emotional storm all of this makes me go through when I see it.
the trailer was really well made! I think many Witcher fans loved it and were tearing up or jumping and shouting in joy. I love that so many others are so passionate about this!!
U know what i can relate to them tears. I was suffering with depression and anxiety in 2012 until 2015 which led me to become extremely reliant on weed. It drove me apart from my family. 2 things saved me back then and that is witcher 3 with the expansions and the elder scrolls skyrim. People underestimate the power of games and the way they can transcend you on a magical journey in a reality where you are in control of someone saving worlds, making a difference in what anyone would deem as fiction. Lets face it, we know monsters dont exist but these 2 games make you believe they do in a way no other game can. They saved me and helped me get my life back on track. So i kid you not when i say i can relate to your tears because my heart to felt magical when i watched this trailer and will feel even more so magical when i see the elder scolls 6.
You are a true and exceptionally valuable fan of our shared, beloved Witcher universe... A wonderful reaction, I wish you all the best and with a great pleasure I leave my subscription here! 😊
Watching your reaction made me tear up as well. I knew you'd be hyped as soon as I saw the news. I'm as well, Ciri is a good choice. I even kinda would have been offended if they'd changed the aftermath of Witcher 3 with Geralt living a happy life. Now the waiting begins. Time for another Witcher 3 playthrough ^^
Absolutely loved the sword and medallion that you were wearing! edit: forgot to mention but your reaction was priceless, as a huge Witcher fan myself i share the same emotional investment as you
also a theory her elder blood got mixed when she undergo the witcher trial that's why her eye color not fully yellow with splash of teal green since they show ciri power in witcher 3 with green teal color
For me, born in Poland, being a fan of books and games, where my father also met and worked with Sapkowski, I am proud of what CDPR creates and how it maintains the vibe

Woke up at 8 in the morning after the award show, couldn't stay up as i had an early start in the morning. Watched this while havin my morning coffee.... what a start to the day!
I'm a male gamer and I think that Ciri is best option when it comes to story and character depth, Trail of grass is a little controversial but Im hyped as fuuuu
You were so sweet with the reaction 😊, as a fan I can absolutely understand it, I literally did the same lol. After so much time it's hard to keep the emotions inside when one of our best series gets teased back. Can't wait.
Haha can I try to one-up you as a Witcher fan? Not only have I done everything you did but also did something even crazier. I'm from the United States and I paid to go to Poland to pretend to be a Witcher for a weekend.... three times. Yep I went to Witcher school three times lol. Oddly the most fun I've ever had
I can't wait for this game to come out. Ciri looked just fine to me and I enjoyed playing as her in The Witcher 3 from time to time. Makes me wanna replay The Witcher 3 all over again. Awesome reaction video. Witcher fans are awesome.
There are lots of lots of dev commentaries and interviews already about the new game. Worth a few looks and reads if you are a Witcher fan and have some spare time. Gives a lot more insight into the trailer, setting, new place she visits (which we will be able to vist ourselves in game), the mosnter Bauk and story. Also, Geralt will be an NPC which I absolutely love! Can't wait to play the game!
It really feels like they haven't lost what makes The Witcher... The Witcher and that makes me so happy and optimistic! It seems like the game will remain very much grounded in its mature themes and extremely ambiguous sense of morality and that really warms my heart. While I'm personally not too sure about Ciri's new character design yet (will also have to see how she looks in game), I'm really glad they went with her as the new protagonist not only because it's a nice tie up to the franchise, but also because CD Projekt really are at their best when working with pre-established characters, so I'm really glad they went for that. She's also a very interesting character they never really got the chance to explore as much as she deserved and I personally wasn't too attached to her previous VA, always thought she sounded too old for her, so I'm not too mad about that. She seems to be very much hardened and brutish and worn down and perhaps even a little bitter (for lack of a better word). The creature talking about fate and how she can't escape her past seem to point to the fact that maybe the gap between the end of 3 and beginning of 4 hasn't been too kind to her on top of everything she's already been through so maybe it's catching up to her? I find it very interesting because we rarely get an "older more mature woman" as a protagonists, as it usually is either badass dudes or super hot young chicks (both are perfectly fine as long as they are interesting and well written), so I find it very interesting they went that way and think it can open up some pretty cool ideas or perspectives to explore (shout out to my girl Jaheira from Baldur's Gate III). Loved your reaction! ✌
I saw a comment from a guy who excuses himself that Ciri can't be the protagonist like in the books because "you can't play books" bro, a guy who knows nothing about The Witcher isn't going to tell me who can be the protagonist and who can't.
Medalion looked like lynx indeed! Please chain as new mechanic instead of crossbow 🙏The village dude killed the doughter. When we first time see him shouting at Ciri he got same knife behind the belt
Would be interesting if Yennefer had a hand in developing a new type of Trial of Grasses unique to Ciri after her experiment with Uma,leaning more into magic than alchemy. After all,Ciri's eyes aren't the traditional yellow, but they are cat eyes.
For fans of Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher we have been waiting for this. From the moment Geralt invoked the law of surprise in the sword of destiny. Some of us lucky enough to read it in when it was published back 1992 we have watched Yen and Geralt nurture Ciri. Sacrifice for Ciri and now we get to see her become the Woman we hoped she would be. For those who are only fans of the Witcher 3 (the game) and not the franchise. Trying to piss on the franchise and call it yours like dogs. Then complain your not getting another Witcher 3 like your entitled opinion matters. Your tourists. go away
Woah, that's some serious accusations there, buddy. Besides, you hoped Ciri would become a mutant? Sacifice her fertility for the sake of having another strong and independed girl boss? I think what you said about pissing on the franchise is very applicable to yourself.
Poland has The Witcher & Cyberpunk, Belgium has Divinity & Baldur's gate 3. As a Belgian I'm so proud of these beautiful companies and the love they have for their communities and game. CDPR & Larian you guys are amazing. ❤

A true fan of the series who is proud of Siri's advancement in her skills... beyond the fact that she is now a sorceress and witch, it is noticeable that she also learned the skills of Igni and Ard, according to what we saw in the battle.
Instantaneous goose bumps during the part of the fight where the music changes to those chanting female vocals and Ciri breaks out the silver chain(throw back to Witcher 1?) and starts swinging it. That music kinda gave me God of War vibes and man... just chef's kiss. Not many games give me that feeling of immense awe. Certainly not from a damn trailer. I've been waiting for so long for another Witcher game from CDPR. This is gonna be great.
It was 3 a.m. in Poland, so our lovely CD Projekt prepared such a beautiful morning for all of us. You wake up, look at your phone and see this.... 8:19 And here it comes, the Slavic vibe :D 11:00 It's rather not Skellige, because they have a completely different culture. People wear warmer clothes because it's winter. I think ciri's look is inspired by Skellige, because since she was a child she loved being on the islands. 15:20 The monster is Bauk from Serbian mythology, so I'm glad they continue to draw from Slavic mythology.
New book, new trailer - the franchise is gaining momentum again :D Great script especially the ending - strongly referring to the psychology of the presented world and the attempt to change fate, where despite the efforts the consequences are still tragic greetings from Poland!
It was the biggest surprise of the year to wake up this morning. The trailer is stunningly beautiful, and words cannot express how much I'm looking forward to the game. What I'm looking forward to with similar excitement is your playthrough Lizz.
So so many questions, did she loose her eleven teleportation against the white frost?, how can she drink potions, why is her medallion different or I’m I tripping?, is geralt and yennefer still in Toussaint?, how old is she now?, the witcheress ending is canon?, are these possibly the cg cutscenes in game or just for the trailer, 🥲 my daughter is back and if yennefer catches her use signs I can smell the roasting from a mile away 😂 how are the members of the lodge ahhhh i need more
I can answer a few of those. I doubt she lost her abilities against the white frost, but there might be some reasons why she can't or won't use them (this is just an educated guess but in the trailer when the monster says 'fate cannot be changed, you cannot change anything' might be a clue what this next trilogy might partly be about). She can drink potions because it looks like she went through the trial (I think CDPR might've confirmed this?). Witcher medallions are based on the Witcher schools they went. Geralt's medallion is a wolf because he became a witcher in Kaer Morhen which was the stronghold of the Wolven school witchers. Ciri's medallion is lynx. I don't want to make this post any more longer than needed so I won't go into details but School of the Lynx was pretty much formed after the events of Witcher 3 by remaining Cat school survivors, Keira Metz and Lambert. Geralt and Yennefer are still in Toussaint. Well, at least were at some point before the events of Witcher 4. There is a five-part comic book series called Corvo Bianco that continues their story after Blood & Wine and is considered as canon (well, as much canon that it can be. Witcher games are not considered as canon even by the developers but in their continuity it is canon). I have not read it so I have no idea if it has something that would lead them leaving Toussaint. Well, Ciri was born 1252 or 1253. the events of Witcher 3 happened in 1273-ish, so Ciri was about 20 in Witcher 3, and School of the Lynx was founded at the same year. ATM we don't know how long after these events the Witcher 4 takes place(?) so really can't say but if I'd have to guess with the info we have; she is something between 22 and 35. And yes, this trailer confirms that the witcheress ending is canon.
I was jumping up and down with joy when I saw this!!!!! I appreciate how deep your lore knowledge goes - it just adds another layer of depth to gameplay. I can't wait to watch you play it!!

According to tvgry, who have information from CD PROJEKT RED:
- The main character is Ciri
- Ciri is voiced by Ciara Berkeley in the English version
- Ciri is a Witcher, after grass trial (no more info yet)
- In the trailer we see the village of Burina in the far north (we don't know yet in which region exactly)
- Sebastian Kalemba, Game Director of The Witcher says that the Studio wants to allow players explore new lands and new regions
- The silver sword which Ciri uses is the well-known Swallow
- The monster is Bauk, created based on Serbian mythology.

Thanks for the info!
@@wojtek1582 Bro... Yen literally performed the trial of grass on Uma in the game
The knife used to kill the girl was tucked into the belt on the "chosen by the gods" guy that accosted Ciri when she started to follow the girl.

Well you should play the games they are literally some of the best games I’ve enjoyed playing 100% you could start with 3 actually then play 1 and 2 but up to you really 🤷🏾♂ just wouldn’t recommend starting with 4 when it comes out…
thing is for 4 they are doing stuff that makes no sense like making Ciri a Witcher and in the hard lore that’s not supposed to be possible, she also doesn’t really act like herself in this trailer and it seems like they wanted to make her into a girl boss character despite the fact that she already is they didn’t need to f**k with the lore to do that so probably don’t expect the story telling to be all that good because they are changing stuff based on nonsense..
and they already said they are looking to bring a new group of players into the game aka they are probably going to f**k up the story to please the so called modern audience, just keep that in mind when playing enjoy 3 and love it because 4 is going to ruin stuff.

The Game Awards one ended with Geralt saying New Saga Begins, See you on the Path. Weird they cut it out from the official trailer.

YES!

Yep. The books and games are amazing. The show is absolutely terrible.
I don't understand why some guys are so pressed that Ciri is the next lead. ITS OBVIOUS. It was set in Witcher 3 I mean we actually PLAYED AS HER. The whole saga is about her and Geralt. Personally as a woman I never had any issues playing as Geralt, it's a fantasy game ffs.
some people can't immerse themselves in women, but can play a purple dragon in Spyro. Lost causes haha
bunch of incels if you ask me.

And look at her dad's face when he asks whose coin she took. It was 100% him, and he got beaten up trying to protect her from him later on.
Yes, and the knife behind his belt was missing in the very last scene!
Would be interesting if Yennefer had a hand in developing a new type of Trial of Grasses unique to Ciri after her experiment with Uma,leaning more into magic than alchemy. After all,Ciri's eyes aren't the traditional yellow, but they are cat eyes.

It was 3 a.m. in Poland, so our lovely CD Projekt prepared such a beautiful morning for all of us. You wake up, look at your phone and see this....
8:19 And here it comes, the Slavic vibe :D
11:00 It's rather not Skellige, because they have a completely different culture. People wear warmer clothes because it's winter. I think ciri's look is inspired by Skellige, because since she was a child she loved being on the islands.
15:20 The monster is Bauk from Serbian mythology, so I'm glad they continue to draw from Slavic mythology.
The "nay" suggests more to the North. My bet is on Kovir.
Waking up today realising i wasnt the only 1 who cried makes me feel better lol
Damn, i feel you. When that chorus kicks in in the middle of the song. Damn, i felt a lot. They nailed music, again
New book, new trailer - the franchise is gaining momentum again :D
Great script especially the ending - strongly referring to the psychology of the presented world and the attempt to change fate, where despite the efforts the consequences are still tragic
greetings from Poland!
0:32 Only brought the silver sword, I see... Expecting actual monsters in the comment section?
as stated in the video.. two swords at once is very uncomfortable
It was the biggest surprise of the year to wake up this morning. The trailer is stunningly beautiful, and words cannot express how much I'm looking forward to the game. What I'm looking forward to with similar excitement is your playthrough Lizz.
I'm so happy for you. I'm looking forward to this as well.
Becoming honestly emotional is the main reason the react is fun to watch, tho haha
And lets be honest, that song slapped HARD
We love your enthusiasm, ok.. now you have our attention. We will give you 100k. subscribers 😉 Greetings from Poland
Greetings from Switzerland!
Why are we all getting so emotional over this? Ciri is like all of our daughters personified...
I was curious did you already have seen witcher 4 trailer. Now I can see your live reaction? OMG We are blessed :D
Also, During game award at the end of the trailer Geralt voice said "Time for a new saga. See you on a path"
I've played through Witcher 3, 3 times now and I've enjoyed watching you play through fallout and KCD 1, on your first play throughs. When you made Witcher references when playing KCD 1 that's when I became a big- Lizz fan! ❤ I watched this Witcher 4 Trailer last night and felt just as emotional! p.s. I attached both of my Witcher's swords to my game chair so it looks like I'm wearing them when I'm sitting at my computer. keep up the good gaming! appreciate your content! 🤘🙏
At last, a true fan of the series being excited and not whining about DEI, Woke etc. Can't wait for this game to come out. TW3 made me love games again.
they all haven't read the books. They never played Witcher 1 or 2..
I also love Geralt, he is one of my favorite game characters, but his story is told, and even in the books Ciri was pretty much the whole plot.
@@LIZZgame tbh i haven't played 1 and 2. not much of a PC gamer. I've read the last wish but not all the other books.
i just love TW3 and itts world and i'm pretty sure CDPR will deliver a masterfull game.
tbh i don't think it's an ignorance issue. these dudes seem angry at eveything that comes out, full of judgement and resentment
No notes; I cried when I saw you cry. It’s legit so badass.
Check out Ciri's voice in polish, it is just perfect.
Thank you. Anyone who has read the books KNOWS that Ciri is the main character... yes even though she doesn't appear in the first couple of books.
Can't wait for witcher 4. Probs won't be out for years, though.
sadly.. yea
Didnt they say 2026 at the Game awards
The game has been in production for some time now, so I would guess 2027
I'm very happy that this trailer made you feel this way, I love to see people get as excited as I do when they see the witcher (my favorite franchise), I'm looking forward to playing the game
There are many subspecies in the lizzord family. One particularly rare example is the so-called crying lizzord, or in short, crizzord. But seriously, the trailer looks pretty epic. 💪
Holy cow you are perceptive. I really enjoyed you breaking it down and yes the rumor goes that the medalion she has comes from the School of LYNX and it really looks like lynx head so you are very observant :) Enjoyed the video
I was like, "You're crying?!" But when I saw it, I almost did, too. Awesome.
I feel like Geralt and Ciri maybe found a way to use the Laboratory in Toussaint to turn her into a Witcher painlessly
