    I think my boss would argue until the plaster fell off the drywall, telling me you must go wider with each coat, but I kind of understand the premise.

    • @drywallgangsters
      @drywallgangsters 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As along as the second coat has no edge and your last coat covers everything you're good to go nothing comes through its the second coat is so tight

      drywallgangsters agree with what you say. Never mind, just do what the boss says 😂🙄😴

    • @drywallgangsters
      @drywallgangsters 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      brenyboy26 yeah if you got a boss you just listen to what he wants at the end of the day he is in charge 😂. We've never had problems with our beads and we've gone through painted jobs plenty of times with a strong light on angles just to see what shows up and doesnt so we know it's fine

    • @brenyboy26
      @brenyboy26 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      drywallgangsters you might have good sheeters too, that always helps having tight angles on the sheet. Sometimes (more often than not) we get horrid jobs with big gaps behind the beads that must be filled.

    • @drywallgangsters
      @drywallgangsters 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      brenyboy26 sheeters are hit and miss but they're usually the opposite sheets over hanging the timber and then next sheet over top of that so it's pushing it out past the frame in spots here and there and you gotta cut em back all the time and rescrew it 😂

      No need we use hotmud for the first coat and and a stiff trowel so it's very flat from the beginning because there's no shrinkage. The second coat with a 6 is to fill in the bubbles that we scraped when the hotmud set then we trowel it the next day with a 12inch trowel
